Consumer Complaint: I have look up the ATM Fee Free locations for my Debit card on American Express app. I was told XXXX XXXX is participating in ATM Fee but when I went to use it, the bank charged me {$3.00} ATM fees. I called Amex and explained the issue, they looked up the institution and agreed that they are ATM Fee Free and agreed to give credit and create a dispute case. But I wasn't given any credit despite me calling them many times. This is a proof of systematic and intentional deceptive / fraudulent practices by American Express Bank.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023 I applied for credit with American Express National Bank as I received promotional mail to apply once I applied I was immediately denied. Despite their reasoning for my denial which caused emotional distress I as the consumer am entitled to credit. As per their SEC filings We periodically securitize Card Member loans and receivables arising from our card businesses through the transfer of those assets to securitization trusts, American Express Credit Account XXXX XXXX ( the XXXXXXXX XXXX ) and American Express XXXX XXXX XXXX ( the XXXX Trust and together with the XXXX XXXX, the Trusts ). The Trusts then issue debt securities collateralized by the transferred assets to third-party investors. In which I received no benefit as they commit securities fraud.

Consumer Complaint: I have an American Express gift card and Ive tried to use it in grocery stores, gas stations, and store fronts and it doesnt work ANYWHERE. Its embarrassing at this point. After 5 times of trying it you just give up hope. I think something is actually wrong with the card. But Ive read other reviews of people having the same issue. Card says its activated when I call the line and my balance is still the same. Trying to call customer service, youre on hold for hours at end. And I dont have that much time for {$50.00}. Terrible conundrum with even worse solution to it.

Consumer Complaint: I was offered an XXXX point welcome offer on the XXXX XXXX card from American Express on opening. Unfortunately, once I had gone through the application process, I was unable to find the details and progress toward the bonus on my online account. Upon contacting American Express, I was told to wait XXXX hours for the account opening to finalize, and finally after calling and messaging their customer service today, I was told that I was ineligible for the offer due to recent welcome offers on other cards, which is patently false as I have not recently applied for credit cards from American Express. I was also informed that I should have received a " pop-up '' notifying me that I would be ineligible for the welcome offer upon applying. However, due to a technical glitch on their website, my application froze and must have been in the step immediately before the pop-up before I could be notified of this rather important issue in my decision making process. I reloaded the webpage and began to proceed through the application again as it had not been saved, and I had at no point encountered the fabled " pop-up '' that American Express representatives insist that I must have agreed to. If I had been informed beforehand, I would not have proceeded with my credit application, as I had received a similar offer to upgrade my other cards. I suspect that American Express is not genuinely serious about offering me any further upgrade or welcome bonuses if this is the case.

Consumer Complaint: Received an Amex Gift Card for {$50.00} on XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX I tried to use the gift card today at gas stations, grocery stores, online retailers, but it was declined every time. I also tried to transfer the gift card to XXXX but it was declined. I tried using the Amex gift card to reload money to my XXXX gift card but that was also declined. I called Amex and was told the card was active, and the card was also worth {$49.00} because some of the transactions I tried took ten cents off the total value of the card because of the denial.

Consumer Complaint: I make a purchase through XXXX on XX/XX/23. One part of the order went through without any issues. The second part of the order didn't no matter how many times I tried. I used the same card. Everyone knows XXXX does not ask for security codes. It's interesting that I have a American Express prepaid card and they have no problems letting transactions go through all the time. I contacted the gift card department Friday morning and the agent said she will submit a request to have restrictions lifted. That was a lie. I called again Friday evening and the agent said the same thing and that was a lie. I called again on Saturday morning and the agent said she did not see any notes about the restrictions being lifted. Both agents said it will take 24 hours which XXXX XXXX my XXXX delivery and now I have to make two trips to pickup my order. Purely ridiculous.

Consumer Complaint: Reference:XXXX On XXXX XXXX I applied for a credit card and was denied. I realized that this had to have been an error because I know that according to the truth and lending act that credit is my XXXX given right. So I reached out to them via telephone to get this issue rectified but again I was met with another no. On XXXX XXXX I received another letter stating that per our phone conversation they reviewed my application again this time by a " supervisor for possible exception '' and again they told me " we will abide by our original decision. '' So that same day I sent them a letter informing them of how they were violating my rights and committing securities fraud. As well as using information from a source that I never gave permission to have let alone report on my behalf. On XX/XX/2023 They responded back stating that they still weren't going to open my account and their decision remains unchanged. At this point I am starting to feel a great since of XXXX knowing that XXXX was only a few weeks away and a recent car accident was preventing me from working. So I reached out again on XXXX XXXX, I again let them know how they were violating my rights and discriminating against me by not opening my account. XX/XX/2023 I received another letter from them again stating that they will not be opening my account and their decision remains unchanged.
