Consumer Complaint: I spoke to superivors over by phone over the last 1.5month reguarding over express shipping 2 to 4 days. Which was not done early this month XX/XX/XXXX with cause me to be with public transportation my clothing needs and limited food supply. The rep that reordered my amex serve card sent reg. US Mail, when I specifically request it express ship ( which is a {$20.00} charge ) This was not done I think its very unprofession unacceptable ( sloppy on amex part ). IM ASKING COMPENSATION of 50 % off All fees SINCE IVE BEEN IV BEEN A CARD HOLDER SINCE XXXX Also to PLEASE grandfather my fees agreed back on XXXX Amer Expr Serve Acct As I was happier with there service and fee agreements at that time. Consumer Complaint: Two AMEX Credit Cards were opened in my name and need to be deemed as fraud. I did not authorize or file any applications. On XX/XX/XXXX I received welcome series email from AMEX noting approval of account for new card. Notates account number ending in # XXXX. Received verification Your Mobile Messaging Number Needs to be Verified email on XX/XX/XXXX. Proceeded to get emails that card was out for delivery on XX/XX/XXXX. Then on XX/XX/XXXX I received another email noting I was approved to another card. Notates account number # XXXX. Proceeding to receive emails regarding delivery and sending out New cards. They were all sent to my old address which I lived 5 years ago or so. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX CA XXXX. I have since lived at two other residences.

Consumer Complaint: Received 2 American Express gift cards from my son, each with {$100.00} on them. Expiration dates are XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. Had them for about a year or two, went to use them and was denied! After calling American Express, found out that they had turned over the money to the state ( Massachusetts ) for unclaimed money even though the expiration dates were good till XXXX! My son doesnt have the receipts for them, assuming everything was fine! So with no name or receipt to link these cards to me, I cant claim them!! I would like the money back that was rightfully mine and I have the 2 gift cards. Why cant I get the money?

Consumer Complaint: I was trying to understand what fees I would pay with my AmEx Blue Preferred Cash Back card if I used their new Plan It feature. I contacted them via their support messaging feature on their XXXX App, asking how much in fees I would pay if I used their Plan It feature for a {$390.00} purchase. I was told there was no way to know how much I would pay in fees if I used the feature until after I made the purchase. I asked what mathematical formula and criteria they used to decide how much a cardholder would pay in fees if they used the Plan It feature. I was given a vague description with only some of the criteria listed, including " creditworthiness, the purchase amount, and ( my ) Account history. '' They also said the " System check ( s ) real-time balance at that date, account history, charge selected for plan and offers the duration. '' I then proceeded to ask again for the mathematical breakdown of how they decide what my fees should be using the new feature and was told to call their XXXX. I called the number and spoke with two different representatives. The second one talked me through downloading the service agreement associated with the card. The service agreement does not cover the entirety of the criteria, and how it is used to decide what fees are associated with a purchase if the cardholder was to use their Plan It feature. The second associate that guided me through downloading the service agreement told me multiple times that the document did say the exact criteria and mathematical formula they use to assign Plan It fees. At one point, I had to start reading the service agreement out loud so she could understand the difference between what I was asking for and what the document described. Afterward, she put me on hold for a while and came back saying that I could make a formal request by sending a letter to their XXXX XXXX in Texas. Multiple times, I asked for an email contact and was told she could only give me the XXXX XXXX XXXX She was lovely and very apologetic about the situation, but she was not going to point me in the direction of someone who could answer this question about fees. I've included my card 's service agreement. I can also send over a screen recording of my conversation with their support staff via their XXXX App.

Consumer Complaint: I opened a American Express Business Platinum card on XX/XX/2023 and on or about XX/XX/2023 American Express suspended all my accounts and wouldn't allow me to make any further charges. On XX/XX/2023 I was charged the annual fee of {$690.00}. I asked Amex to unsuspend my account because their ongoing review is not related to my new account which doesn't have charges related to the ones in their investigation. After their failure to respond I contacted them to close my account so I could receive my annual fee back and they refused to close my account. I opened a new credit card for an introductory offer which I plan to fulfill and they suspended my account which prevented me to meeting the terms while also charging an annual fee. They refused to close or unsuspend my account.
