Consumer Complaint: Consumer Financial Protection Bureau XX/XX/XXXX www.consumerfinance.gov Complaint Number : XXXX, this one is closed Reference Wells Fargo Update on Wells Fargo They have sent me all my bank statements, some savings statements, all my brokerage statements and no credit card statements. I have been able to put together a rather large spread sheet of all activity on all my accounts from the time I left for XXXX to when I came back home. XX/XX/XXXX till XX/XX/XXXX. My sister in law did indeed clean me out of all my money. Checking acct {$4500.00} Savings acct {$11000.00} IRA acct {$36000.00} Roth acct {$11000.00} All of it is gone now and all of it was in WF banks. This is not counting the {$9000.00} she has outstanding on my credit card. It is not my money so I did not lose anything there but my credit rating. It has been turned into collections and has affected my ratings. I not find it impossible to buy a car. My social security was delayed for a while as they went over this too. They withheld two months in payments from me as punishment for my sister taking the social security checks that SSA sent to my checking account the whole time I was gone. Their mistake and I am disputing the whole deal at this time with them. Wells Fargo has written me back and I have the letters from them, that they can not come up with the power of attorney forms for any of the accounts. They did find the first three pages of the POA for checking but not the signature page. They have nothing to authorize them to give my sister in law access to my accounts. How could all this have gone on and no one noticed what was going on with the different accounts. I thought they kept an eye on everything to catch the non-normal transactions on all the accounts. To me that means they do not have any documentation for giving my sister in law my money from my accounts. That means she should not have had been able to use my credit card for personal use, use my checking for personal use or pay her bills, been able to transfer money from my brokerage account to herself, pay her XXXX bill every month, pay for XXXX membership or her XXXX membership, take the social security checks from my account that SSA accidently sent to my account for a total of {$160000.00}. She wrote hundreds of checks to herself and much more. All documented with the bank statements. Then with the letters from WF themselves saying they do not have any POAs it seems to me they are liable for all this. Should they be paying me back my money they let someone take out of my accounts over the years I was gone? I am XXXX now and on social security living in an apartment. I saved my money before going to XXXX and expected to have something when I got out. I come home to see that all this has happened and WF did not protect me. Please tell me what I should do or what you can do on this. I am very disappointed in WF. I used to XXXX for them and they XXXX up bad on this. They will not even give me my credit card statements to look at as some attorney outside of WF has the account now and working on it. I hope they are going after my sister in law but no one from anywhere has called me for information on how to find her.

Consumer Complaint: I applied for an apartment complex called XXXX XXXX XXXX back in XX/XX/2023. I used my debit card to pay my application fee and security deposit {$1500.00} online. After I applied online the property manager XXXX XXXX advised me that my security deposit would need to be in the form of a cashier check. Wells Fargo advised to put in a claim so that I could receive my money back quickly and get a cashier check. I took the cashier check to the property. I officially closed the claim on XX/XX/2023 with Wells Fargo and the {$1500.00} was taken back from XXXX XXXXXXXX and they advised me that I would be evicted from my apartment if I did not pay the money back. Property manager XXXX advised that I would need to pay a late fee and since their bank charged them a NSF fee. I would have to pay the NSF Fee as well. I called Wells Fargo to ask them to reserve this payment back to XXXX XXXX XXXX. They did and they stated it was final debit card payment to the XXXX. Last night I was looking over my Wells Fargo checking account and I noticed the {$1500.00} was back in my checking account. Wells Fargo had taken the money back from XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX for the 2nd time. I shocked and upset! I called Wells Fargo claims department to find out why did they take the money from XXXX XXXXXXXX again and they said " the property management company bank was still talking to XXXX after my rent payment was made in XXXX to XXXX XXXXXXXX and Wells Fargo had won the claim with XXXX. '' This makes absolutely no sense at all. Why would XXXX the property management company bank still be talking to XXXX after the rent payment was made. Wells Fargo claims department I believe is lying. I asked XXXX XXXXXXXX what was the name of their bank. I need for a investigation to be done to find out if it was XXXX XXXX or Wells Fargo bank who keeps making this error. The Wells Fargo Branch manager XXXX XXXX and Wells Fargo claims department advised me that the rent payment XXXX XXXX XXXX received in XXXX could not be reversed and it was a final payment to XXXX XXXXXXXX. Wells Fargo Bank has lied to me. Wells Fargo, XXXX and XXXX XXXX has caused me emotional distress and enjoyment of life due to this matter. This has been going on since XXXX. I have paid my rent twice for the same month and I paid on time the first time. I don't know what bank is doing this to me. However, I do know that Wells Fargo has lied to me because they stated it was a final payment to XXXX XXXX XXXX and it could not be reversed but they have reversed it even though I closed this claim on XX/XX/2023 with Wells Fargo claims department.

Consumer Complaint: Account was frozen around XX/XX/2023. I was called by fraudulent dept. telling me that my debit card was used in Georgia. I never been to Georgia in my life. I needed to pay rent with the money in my checking account and I couldnt because Wells Fargo froze my account. Which caused a financial hardship because I was charged late fees for my rent and Wells Fargo refused to release my funds until the XXXX of XXXX Wells Fargo didnt care about the late fees accruing from my rent and told me that I am responsible for the late fees that were accumulated. This is not good customer service or good business practice. I should be compensated for my hardship that was caused by XXXX XXXX negligence to release my funds and still investigate what happened.

Consumer Complaint: Wells Fargo has done such an in justice to my grandfather iam helping him make this formal complaint against this awful bank. My grandfather XXXX XXXX has a bank acct with my mother XXXX XXXX and in this sense my mother had closed an acct at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX so she received a official check that was for XXXX cents went ahead and made a deposit into said bank acct at Wells Fargo .this transaction happened on XX/XX/2023 on XX/XX/2023 my grandfather went to bank to get his funds out from his social security deposit when he finds out hes negative n was with no funds And still showing a negative XXXX went to branch of Wells Fargo here locally they advised XXXX that the check for XXXX Was returned not paid by advantage west. To make a horrible story short after many calls back n forth n to the issuing bank come to find out that said check was actually paid out in full to Wells Fargo 24hrs after it was deposited to my grandfathers acct n was given a tracer number n told that it was paid in full n didnt understand why Wells Fargo would claim such a thing n most of all take a XXXX yr old mans money a whole month later and still mths later we are still in battle with Wells Fargo to get my grandfathers money back I was told to write this formal complain to ur office n hopes that you will help thank u

Consumer Complaint: I have received a copy on my consumer reports, and I notice this company have still furnished to the consumer reporting agencies transactions that are excluded by law as per the FCRA 15 USC 1681a 2Ai. ( 2 ) Exclusions.Except as provided in paragraph ( 3 ), the term consumer report does not include ( i ) report containing information solely as to transactions or experiences between the consumer and the person making the report ; A consumers transactions are excluded from the consumer reports. FICO and or any other Risk score or algorithm that is used to calculate a consumers credit score is not a factor where the consumer report is concerned! Pursuant to the FCRA found in Section 607 ( a ) a data furnisher must provide accurate information to CRA 's. This company is in violation of the law. Wells Fargo already settled with you for $ XXXX over consumer abuses. I am currently being abused! Please find attached document that further prove my claim.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2021 I became aware of an " invisible account '' by Wells Fargo. A former employee was visiting a Wells Fargo teller and cashing unauthorized checks. This went on for 10 years. Wells Fargo says I am responsible because I must review my monthly account. But, I am signed up for electronic statements and the account was not listed as an account on my dashboard. They refer to this internally as " an invisible account ''. Over the 10 years, the bank profited from the interest I was paying. I would like my money back and credited back to my small business.
