Consumer Complaint: Previously I was a victim of fraud. The criminals tricked me into depositing fake or empty checks into my bank account while also tricking me into gaining my trust. I had my account closed and later discovered that I was a victim of fraud and identity theft ( IRS approves ). Yesterday I inputted my information for a checking account following a {$300.00} bonus offer and was instantly accepted. I had an active account and even deposited $ XXXX for a wire transfer for a SUV I won on an auction. After submitting the wire transfer, making deposits ( with cash at atm too ), and given a debit card. The bank messaged me Wells Fargo performs ongoing reviews of its account relationships in connection with the Banks responsibilities to manage risks in its banking operations. We recently reviewed your account relationship and, as a result of this review, we will be closing your above referenced accounts because the closure by Wells Fargo or its affiliates of a previous account you owned. -If ongoing reviews are active then why was I approved for a bank account in the first place? -How did I get approved for an account if the ongoing reviews are active and flagging me? -Was this really an ongoing review or a targeted one? -How is blacklisting me from creating a bank account while I was another poor victim towards fraud and online scammers justified?

Consumer Complaint: I been lied too since XX/XX/2023. With the misleading info that I am enrolled in overdraft protection service. When this court litigation im involved in. Coincidentally started having difficulties with my checkings account. Multiple problems platinum debit card declining. At branch ATMS Even after making {$200.00} dollar cash deposit. Transaction failed and declined. Mobile phone app Wells Fargo app website. Clearly says my checkings account not eligible or enrolled in overdraft protection service. Making those changes not accessible Mobile app.On several different occasions bankers stay mute speechless. When questioned relating to what the disclosures say in writing. What's going on here I been flagged and my bank account modified. This is very unfair and very inconvenient. According to your guidelines and rules. Unfair banking service should be submitted to your agency in writing.

Consumer Complaint: WF has an early deposit program. In this program you can receive your direct deposits up to 2 days early. This program was added to my account WITHOUT MY CONSENT. I went to my local branch to have this removed. They can't do it at the branch level so I filed a complaint and asked for it to be removed. I got a call from some guy who told me someone named XXXX would be calling me about this. I missed the call from her. She left her name and number and I called back 3 times, no one answered and no one returned my calls. I went back to the branch and filed another complaint and said if I don't hear from someone, I would seek legal help. Its been around 6 months or so and I haven't heard from anyone. I am a XXXX veteran and I have been a customer with WF for XXXX XXXX and don't appreciate being treated like this. I consider this a form of age discrimination.

Consumer Complaint: My car, a XXXX XXXXXXXX, was repossessed on XXXX. I was able to pay off the loan in full, {$17000.00} on XXXX. It took Wells Fargo Bank from XXXX, until XXXX to clear the funds ( money was wired from XXXXXXXX XXXX ). Today XXXX, I called the title department to see when I could get the title. I am told the money has not been received!!!?? The title department transferred me to the XXXX department and they said they had not received the money?? This is after WF has already authorized me to pick up the car on XXXX. Wells Fargo has to be the most unorganized and incompetent bank in America. ( side note, we offered to pay payments to catch up and they refused them. So I paid the balance in full ). I spoke to a man named XXXX, in the Reinstatement Department. He was rude and stated it would take 4 to 6 weeks for me to receive my title. This was after he told me the bank had NOT received my wire. I had to tell XXXX that obviously WF had the money, because I had picked up my car. He did not believe me. Then he tells me how a wire transfer is the worst way to pay a debt. Can you please contact WF Bank and have them send me my title asap. thank you.

Consumer Complaint: I am the executor of the estate of my brother. On Monday, XX/XX/2024 I went to the bank with certified letters of administration and death certificate. I asked them to close the account and give me the money. They said everyone was busy and I should come back another time. One of my brothers made an appointment, went to the bank, and gave the bank certified copies of the death certificate and my letters of administration. They refused to release the funds, saying that I must personally come to the bank to identify myself. I called the banker my brother spoke with. She acknowledged that they had the certified letters and that the bank had agreed they were authentic. I made an appointment to come to the bank and identify myself. She said the process may take 1.5 hours and might not be completed that day. I asked why it would take so long and she said a different person would have to determine whether the documents were authentic and that person might not be available.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2024 i opened on line a checking account with Wells Fargo including {$300.00} bonus, plus i provided two addresses ( residential & mailing ). Since then the Bank for gave me many Unjustified Problems, including denying purchases in person, online purchases and don't allow me to withdraw my money, the balance today is {$900.00}. Even though is easy for Wells Fargo to verify my address they send me two letters asking me to go to their Branch in order to verify my address. I reached Wells Fargo 's Branch twice XX/XX/2024 & XX/XX/2024 @ XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, ( XXXX ) XXXX. I spoked to the XXXX. XXXX XXXX ; not only he didn't tried to verify my address but his attitude was XXXX, Disrespectful & Hostile. I reached a second Well 's Fargo twice XX/XX/2024 & XX/XX/2024 @ XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, ( XXXX ) XXXX. I spoked to XXXX & another employee who refused to give me his name and both refused to verify my address, plus their attitude was XXXX & Disrespectful. I asked to speak to Branch 's Manager but i wasn't allowed. The real reason that Wells Fargo gave me these Problems and don't allow me to access my funds is because i filed a complaint before with CFPB against them. Wells Fargo, etc. and it's employees proved to me as well as to everyone else that are a Criminal Enterprises on XXXX and allowed to o Defraud everyone because the XXXX Government is in their Pocket since day One. Wells Fargo HAS STOLEN MY MONEY and the XXXX System don't protect consumers.

Consumer Complaint: I received a equity loan from this bank and the other name banks prior to Well Fargo. The Equity loan was approved in XXXX and the amount was {$37000.00} but recently I attempted to use it based on the statements I have always received and was told it was reduced to {$33000.00}. because of collection action or unfavorable actions not actually with Wells Fargo. I have never been late nor missed a payment on my mortgage which is now paid in full nor my equity line which is to be paid by XXXX. Even if a letter was sent the statement has always remained {$37000.00} and did not indicate this restriction. I think Wells Fargo should honor the statement amount of {$37000.00}
