Consumer Complaint: I am writing to file a complaint against Truist Bank for violating the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), 15 U.S.C. 1681 et seq. I have previously filed a complaint, and am following up with an additional complaint because no remedy occurred. Truist Bank violates 15 U.S Code 1602, 15 U.S Code 1602 ( g ), 15 U.S Code 1602 ( j ), and 15 U.S Code 1643 ( e ) because I, the consumer, a natural person, is the creditor and I, the consumer, have an open-ended consumer plan, as well as occurring an unauthorized use of the credit card which resulted in a loss. Furthermore, as stated above, my social security number ( credit card ) was used and I received NO benefit. This is proof of fraudulent activity ( unauthorized use of credit card ) on behalf of Truist Bank

They do not send information about removal of PMI and they lose my written correspondence and even lost the check that I mailed to them in their own self addressed envelop. They are irresponsibly causing me to pay PMI for over a year that equates to over {$2400.00}. There is no way to escalate and no one gets back to me.

Consumer Complaint: I received notification for a potential fraudulent charge on my Truist checking account on XX/XX/, that was charged for XXXX. I contacted the bank on XX/XX/ saying I did not make the charge. While looking through my account statement I noticed there we additional fraudulent charges from XXXX that I did not make. I told the bank that I have never used my debit card for an XXXX and that any transaction attached to XXXX was fraudulent. The bank 's claim adjuster told me the claims went back to XXXX. I received a letter in the mail stating that my claim was denied. I called the bank for an explanation and was told that because I had done a transaction with XXXX in XXXX that I had a history with the merchant. I again told the bank that I have never used this card for an XXXX. They continuously told me that because I have a history with the merchant that my claim was denied. I then told them once again that I have never used this card with that merchant. The bank said that they would then review the claim again with the additional fraudulent charges. I was never contacted throughout the duration of the investigation to the possibility there were additional charges from that merchant. There were a total of 41 fraudulent transactions from XXXX totaling {$1700.00}.

Consumer Complaint: Truist bank does not allow loan deferment. They require an approval of unemployment benefits or the return to work date. This means myself, who has been unjustly fired from my job and am trying to fight that, has no options but to default on my car loan. Thus putting me and all their future customers needing this support into further financial crisis. This is obviously predatory. The Truist agent actually told me to " borrow the money from someone ''. Wow.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX spoke with XXXX and requested account XXXX be closed. However, after speaking with XXXX, Truist again made duplicate charges to this account from account XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX spoke with XXXX and again requested this account be closed. Truist failed and/or refused to close the account and again made duplicate charges to this account from XXXX and charged me late fees, penalties, and interest. XX/XX/XXXX spoke with bank representative in person and asked for account to be closed, yet Truist again charged duplicate charges to XXXX. Since Truist continued to make duplicate charges on XXXX and charged late fees and penalties, and interest, on XX/XX/XXXX I closed all my accounts with Truist and asked that credit card XXXX be closed. Truist continued to charge BOTH accounts XXXX and XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX spoke with XXXX who agreed I do not owe money on these accounts but she claimed there was nothing she could do. On XX/XX/XXXX I sent a letter to Truist by certified mail, again requesting they close account XXXX and XXXX. However, Truist failed to do so and allowed charges to be made on these accounts. XX/XX/XXXX I sent another letter by certified mail asking for both accounts to be closed. Approximately XX/XX/XXXX received another invoice from Truist claiming owed additional charges, interest, penalties, late fees, as they refused to close both accounts and continued to charge both accounts and demanding that I be responsible. XX/XX/XXXX, received another invoice with additional charge that I did not expressly authorize and Truist again demanding late fee, penalties, and interest. I can provide copies of letters sent to Truist and invoices.

Consumer Complaint: I bought a saw from XXXX that turned out to be used and defective. There web site said 90 days warranty 30 days free returns. I went back and fourth with them, sending them videos and telling them what I have done several times. They sent me videos on how to put gas in and start several times. After several weeks of arguing with them they finally sent a return label and I returned saw. XXXX XXXX apparently never returned funds or Truist Bank never credited my account back. Enclosed is tracking number and proof they received the saw. Tried to dispute with Truist Bank, 3 times, monies that were to be returned by merchant. They said they closed first time because no affidavit. They said they would send and I never received.
