Consumer Complaint: In XXXX i called XXXX and asked about the system that was in my new house on XXXX XXXX since it was different than the house on XXXX XXXX that I had just moved from. Lady on phone said she could activate it. I said no, i wanted someone to come out and show me what it is and how it works so i can see if i want it. XXXX, a salesperson, came out and just tried to sell me on everything. I wanted the same system at XXXX and have the service moved. He scheduled a tech to come out. XX/XX/XXXX a tech came out at the beginning of my XXXX to noon window. He had a doorbell camera, some sort of XXXX thing like XXXX, and tried to hook it all up. I was home, but working. After 7 hours, i told the tech i had to leave. He said nothing worked and he couldnt get any of it activated. I told him i didnt want the camera doorbell and the XXXX thing anyway, and i never asked for it. I said i had to leave, dont worry about nothing being activated, as we changed our mind and didnt want the service moved from our other house anyway. On XX/XX/XXXX, when XXXX asked how it went, i told him the tech couldnt get it activated, so i sent him home, and we didnt want the service, please don't have anyone else come out and activate it. I thought this whole thing was over, as IT WAS NEVER ACTIVATED. Late in XXXX, 2 months later, i got a bill for XXXX. I called in on XX/XX/XXXX. I got transferred 3 times, each time, i had to start at the beginning. I finally got XXXX in account management. She was very helpful and nice. She explained the three day cancelation policy. I explained that i didnt know i had to cancel, as i didnt know the service was ever hooked up. She said i signed a contract. Well, XXXX emailed me something from my kitchen and told me to sign it. I couldnt access it and read, but it was a docusign document. He told me it was to have the tech come out, so i signed it. I didnt know it was a new contract. I didnt know i needed a new contract as i had been a client for 10+ years. So, when i texted XXXX and told him not to hook up the service, i didnt know i had to send a letter in canceling the service ( i didnt learn that until the third call with XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX from XXXX ) XXXX I thought NOT HOOKING UP meant i didnt have service. XXXX, after XXXX hours and XXXX minutes talking to XXXX people, finally contacted XXXX, read the text exchange and told me i did everything right and i didnt owe anything. She even gave me a confirm number telling me that if i ever did get another bill, to call back and give them the conf # ( XXXX ) and that would clear everything up. I got a bill mid XXXX for {$1200.00}. Why the difference? I dont know. I called back on XX/XX/XXXX at @ XXXX pm and was on the phone until XXXX, mostly on hold. XXXX answered. I explained the entire thing to her. However, when i read the account number from the XXXX $ invoice, she said it was for XXXX XXXX, which is the house i had just MOVED FROM. I corrected her. I told her the whole story. She asked for the conf #, i gave it to her. She then said she saw all of XXXX notes and it matched what i said. She asked if she could put me on a XXXX minute hold while she got me transferred to account management. I explained that every time XXXX put my on hold in XXXX, i got hung up on and had to keep calling back. She said she would check in on me. I said ok, and in XXXX min she did just that and said it was still a XXXX minute hold time. Then, she put me back on hold and didnt check in on me anymore. At XXXX ( XXXX minutes later, not XXXX ) XXXX picked up. I had to start all the way over. XXXX said shed make sure whoever picked up would have access to the notes and would know what I was calling for. He did not. I had to start all the way over. When i tried to give him the conf # he said it wouldnt help as we have all new systems since XXXX. However, XXXX seemed to be able to use. XXXX went over all the details with me and told me that XXXX had typed in all the notes, but she had only requested that my bill be wiped out, she never actually completed it. I now believe Im being given the run around and that XXXX policy is to wear out the client so that I just pay to be done with them. He said hed have to put me on a brief hold to get a manager on the line. XXXX minutes later XXXX was back and start challenge me. Did XXXX tell you he canceled the account for you, cause he cant. You have to send in a letter. Well, i didnt know i had an account to cancel. I told him to NOT ACTIVATE it. I said, look, XXXX and i went over all of this. She assured me i owed nothing. Ive been a client for 10 years, i dont want the service and Im not paying. I He said hed email a manager and theyd call me back inside of 48 hours. Well, this was a Saturday, so I asked, they'll call back before end of sunday, or are you meaning 48 business hours. XXXX said business hours, and confirmed someone would call me back on XXXX or Tue the following week. No one did. And then, shortly after, i received a letter from a collection agency. And now, my stellar credit is negatively impacted by an incompetent and dishonest company. I never was sent a late notice, i was never sent any notice that I was going to be sent to a collection agency. I was waiting on a follow up call from a manager that I'd been promised.

Consumer Complaint: I had made payments to XXXX XXXX XXXX and after my last payment in XX/XX/2022 they sent my account to a collection agency for a balance of {$100.00}. I was not notified of this and every time I attempted to contact XXXX, I either received a message that their office was closed, they were at lunch and was unable to pay via phone because their system is faulted. When I finally did reach them, I was told that my account was sent to Transworld Systems Inc. collection agency. I have never received any communication from them. When I contacted the collection agency to pay the final {$100.00} of my balance, I sat on the phone for an hour waiting for them to find someone to take my payment. Transworld Systems Inc. would send me over to XXXX and XXXX refused to accept my payment. Both Transworld Systems and XXXX XXXX XXXX refused me the opportunity to submit a final payment of {$100.00} and neglected to accept my payment.

Several of the phone numbers i found to contact both companies, don't work and the one that does, goes to a very suspicious routing system and i never get a person or resolution. The letter says i owe {$1100.00}.

Consumer Complaint: I received an alert from XXXX XXXX- a debt was filed against me on XXXX from a company called Transworld System IncXXXX for a debt from XX/XX/2016 from XXXX XXXX XXXX which services XXXX XXXX XXXX I have not lived in XXXX XXXX in over 15 years which I explained to XXXX- This collection agency did not provide an account number or a service address. I filed a dispute with XXXX and they did a XXXX XXXX investigation and seems like they are going by this company 's verbal statement instead of asking for information verifying this was my account. I contacted this collection agency today explaining why I was calling wanting the information verifying the account and stated I will not provide any banking ; credit card or social security number and they hung up on me. This is a total scam. Why would it them over 6 years to find me?? I was not in hiding. If this is my account, this company should have no problem providing an account number and service address in writing.

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX I took a federal Perkins loan from the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX of {$1300.00}. I graduated in XXXX of XXXX and because of the events that followed in XXXX ( COVID-19, lay-offs, etc ). I was under the impression that this FEDERAL loan was also deferred with my other loans. In XX/XX/XXXX I received a letter about repayment and being late although I had no prior notification. By then I was {$240.00} behind and because I was still not back at work full time due to the pandemic, I had to split the payments through XX/XX/XXXX to be able to catch up. Starting in XX/XX/XXXX I have had auto payment set up with UAS. On XX/XX/XXXX I made a dispute with XXXX when I saw my credit score drop XXXX points and it was because it kept showing I wasn't making payments or was late and the balance was still high although I checked my UAS account at the time as well as my bank account to show I was up to date. The case was resolved until XX/XX/XXXX when I received a notification that my dispute was reopened ( NOT BY ME ) and that the agency finally updated them. I contacted the university and they also stated that other students have had the same issue with thinking that the federal perkins loan was part of the federal deferment of student loans when COVID-19 hit and stated there was no assistance due to the pandemic either. They also said they had my wrong email and mailing address which is why I never received notification of when I was supposed to be making repayment and so on my credit report it just seems like I was late for 6 months ( XXXX XXXX ) for no reason. They updated my information on XX/XX/XXXX and was told nothing else could be done.
