Consumer Complaint: Working with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I have been disputing some checks that were written that I had no idea existed until my tax return was seized. I submitted an affidavit that this was not me. These checks were written in XXXX. I requested dispute packet & submitted signature examples, ID, XXXX & I have attached the email response after they did a supposed investigation. The debt is being processed by Transworld Systems , Inc., ( TSI ). & it being so long ago the debt is enormous. I never received anything in the mail about this debt prior to having my tax return seized for XXXX in the amount of {$1500.00}. I did not write these checks in question & I was NEVER informed about them until this year.

Consumer Complaint: Got a letter in the mail from nationwide credit inc. saying I owe and they are collecting for XXXX XXXX I called and reported a fraud claim because I never bought anything from the company they are claiming the debt came from. I called again because who ever opened this account used my maiden name and when I tried to get in the account online with the information on the paper I got in the mail I had to use my last XXXX numbers of my social and when I put them in it didnt recognize them. So I called XXXX XXXX and they passed me around and couldnt even find an account. Then said they found my account but none of the information matched the paper from the debt collector. So an hour of no one telling me anything or helping me they hung up on me. Now I am writing to you.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2022 I received a letter from this company stating that I owed an alleged debt. The company also notated in the initial notice that I had until XX/XX/2022 to dispute all or part of the debt. As of XX/XX/2022 this company has reported the debt to all major three credit bureaus dropping my XXXX XXXX over XXXX points without validating the debt Within the allowed time frame. I spoke with an agent on XX/XX/2022 and requested that this company cease all communication tactics and I requested A signature bearing contract with the company that is reporting the alleged debt on my credit report NOT the creditor that the collector bought the debt from. This is clearly fraud, negligence, and identity theft. I have never done business with this company, and I have never given any authorization for my Social Security number to be used for any purposes. This is clearly a violation of my consumer rights per 15 USC 1692c. Once again, I want to reiterate that this company is in direct violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act and Fair Debit Collection Practices Act. I do intend on Looking into litigation due to the violation of my consumer rights, and I also plan on suing this company for defamation, negligence, identity theft, and a violation of my consumer rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act and Fair Debit Collection Practices Act.

Consumer Complaint: This is a complaint about a debt collection agency contacting me about surprise medical debt. The charges listed against my account were unknown to me all this time and for the charges to be in debt collection now are an issue to me. We are contacting the hospital to discover why we were never contacted about the listed charges by the hospital for years. We are also contacting them for necessary information, proof of benefits and services, and line-item charges for the debt listed against us. We have successfully made all payments for all known charges to us since receiving services at the hospital, so these surprise charges are very odd to us. The charges are from XXXX and XXXX and we have since visited the same hospital and updated their systems for them to approach me successfully about any debt.

I've not received any correspondence previous to the report on my credit. I also spoke with XXXX XXXX the utility company that sent me to collections. Per XXXX at the XXXX XXXX an opened an account for utilities in and became delinquent in XXXX. My utilities are set up in California for my home and I do not use the utility company. They noted my complaint but also recommended that I file a police report and a report with identitytheft.gov.

Consumer Complaint: In reference to complaint XXXX which includes the details of the account, XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX violated the Fair Credit Reporting Act by continuously harassing me with debt collection calls after receiving a cease and desist letter and debt validation request, and did not provide *any* documentation within the 30 day period after receipt of the request. They broke federal law. Period. The CFPB is the entity responsible for upholding these laws. Period. Both XXXX and XXXX have still failed to provide legal proof of ownership of my loan, and the XXXX XXXX even stated that the " documentation no longer exists. '' The CFPB SUED NCT FOR THIS VERY REASON. https : //www.consumerfinance.gov/about-us/newsroom/cfpb-takes-action-against-national-collegiate-student-loan-trusts-transworld-systems-illegal-student-loan-debt-collection-lawsuits/ There is legal precedent that the CFPB proved in court that XXXX was unable to produce the documentation that they are legally required to have in order to legally collect on the loans. This is exactly what's going on here. I have been asking them to produce the documentation for 2 years. They keep sending me the original promissory note, from XXXX XXXX XXXX, which does not prove that XXXX owns it. They have failed to prove anything. Again, XXXX broke federal law, and should be held accountable. XXXX is trying to fraudulently collect on a loan they do not own, until/unless they can legally prove otherwise, which is a REALLY SIMPLE REQUEST and should not take over 2 years to fulfill. I am not satisfied with their responses, I am not about to take XXXX breaking the law and harassing me sitting down, and I'm a little disturbed that the CFPB doesn't seem to care that both of these companies are in violation of the laws the CFPB is responsible for upholding.
