Consumer Complaint: The school promised me grants, scholarships, and Military grants for tuition. I did not receive these promised Financial benefits in the end. It is to my understanding that a XXXX XXXX is awarded to students who are in dire financial need and need extra money to cover education cost. The semester XX/XX/XXXX, prior to being dismissed, my tuition cost were covered with the financial aid I was awarded. Upon a records check in XXXX, and it became known to me that I had an outstanding loan of {$300.00} by way of a XXXX XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX also known as XXXX. The school sent me a master promissory note with a signature that is not mine. The signature on the master promissory note contains a mixture of numbers and letters. For the record, the digital signature is not mine nor have I used one to sign any of my master promissory notes. It is also to my understanding that the document more over the promissory note must be an exact copy of the original. The master promissory note the school sent had an address where I currently live, when I attended the school I did not live in XXXX. The original document would have the address on it where I lived at the time the master promissory note was signed. I did not need the money for tuition. I did not request the money nor did I receive the {$300.00} back in the form of a student refund nor was it applied to my tuition cost. I have made several written formal request ( to the school demanding the removal of this loan from my credit and that the XXXX loan is mine. I've explained to them that I did not apply for it nor did I need it, however I have not been able to come to a meeting of the minds with the school or loan servicer XXXX. Again the money was returned to the school I never seen it. The documents that I have attached to this complaint should explain moreover detail the fact that I have presented in the complaint. Both of the attachments I have below labeled ( XXXX. itemized statement XXXX XXXX loan XXXX XXXX ) show that I received a refund approximately {$800.00} ( XXXX ) = {$1600.00}, therefore the financial need that required me to request this XXXX XXXX is not valid. My tuition & book cost were covered as shown on the attachments I've referenced to above. Again, the need was not present and I did not request it nor did I want it. Moreover, proof is within my attachments showing that this was paid. It is a fact, most of the XXXX Loans have been discharged many years ago. For some reason the school decided to reverse the payments and add it back to my account. The proof of this is in the attachment, XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: Transworld Systems Inc. sent a collections notice for an unpaid invoice. I am trying to fully satisfy the amount owed. Their online system allows for a one-time payment option, however when trying to use that option, payment fails because " the EmailAddress field is not a valid email address. '' No where in that one-time payment process was an email even requested. I tried to call them on the only phone number listed on the notice ( XXXX ). When connected, the automated greeting does not advise that you are calling Transworld Systems Inc., just that the next available agent will be with you shortly. Once connected, an agent named XXXX was to assist me once I provided the Account Number. I did so and she simply repeated herself 3 times before terminating the call. This happened 5 more times until I called back a sixth time and spoke with another agent. When I provided the account number she advised that she was unauthorized to take any action on this account. She attempted to transfer me to someone who could assist, but was unable to connect me and provided me another number ( XXXX ). I called that number 6 times and each time was disconnected after the automated recording. I called back, was hung up on by XXXX another 3 times. Once connected to the same agent as earlier, I advised her that the number she gave me disconnected me the 6 times that I tried to call. She advised she would try to connect me with a person who could assist. After waiting on hold for 15 minutes or so, I was connected with someone to whom I voiced my concerns and was trying to help me get this issue resolved, however I was told that " a code needed to be changed '' so she could take payment on this account. She advised that she put that request in with her supervisor so that I would not have to be transferred again. Then I was disconnected again. I called the XXXX number back 4 times until I was connected with XXXX. He was able to assist me without transferring me or requiring supervisory approval. This runaround took the better part of an hour, all for a {$39.00} balance that I wanted to just resolve in full. I am beyond frustrated with these deceptive tactics first by not having a system that actually allows for payment to be easily made. Second by not identifying the company in the automated greeting. That made me feel like it was a scam. Third, getting the run around from the call center and not being able to assist with anything on the account and being hung up on or disconnected when I was to be " transferred '' to someone who could assist me. No consumer should be strung along for the better part of an hour just trying to pay something, being told someone couldn't help, not getting connected to the right people and continuously being disconnected.
