Issue: Written notification about debt
Subissue: Didn't receive enough information to verify debt
Consumer Complaint: After multiple attempts to contact Transworld Systems Inc in XXXX, PA - we then mailed our dispute complaint postmarked XX/XX/19. This was responded to on XX/XX/19 - with irrelevant documents. the claim amount they want to collect is {$730.00}. with the lack of willingness to communicate or provide any requested documentation to the validity of the claim, this seems very fraudulent. you can not just say someone owes you money and then turn them over to collection. you have to show liability of the claim. A repair bill is not proof of liability. How do I know an employee did not damage the car and is blaming me to keep from getting in trouble? that is exactly how this feels.

Consumer Complaint: This complaint concerns two or more health systems under the same insurance plan ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) with a {$2500.00} deductible. I was never seen at XXXX XXXX Hospital-XXXX. However, I was seen and had an XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX at XXXX XXXX 's Hospital-XXXX Campus and made a payment of {$50.00}. The bill should not have been the amount that it was, given the fact that I already met my deductible. It does not appear that the bill was sent to the insurance company but did list the insurance company name. If the facility believes they are due more, they should resubmit the itemized bill to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. The second biller was XXXX XXXX Hospital. I was seen at the hospital three times and this is just one bill of likely three that should also be submitted to XXXX XXXX XXXX insurance. To begin I was sent home three times from this hospital and it was even documented by one nurse in the ER that she was not going to treat me on XX/XX/2019. I was told that my XXXX XXXX because it smelled like XXXX which I was on from a XXXX XXXX from possibly contaminated equipment ( XXXX at the XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) for a XXXX and/or XXXX XXXX. If the facility was going to bill me after these visits, they certainly could have billed after my XXXX instead of turning me away ; creating a series of ER visits ; not only to XXXX XXXX Hospital but as you can see it was to two other hospitals and my primary care physician.

Consumer Complaint: Hello, My name is XXXX XXXX XXXX. I had a medical bill that was overdue and went to a collection agency by the name of transworld systems. The total amount of the debt XXXX and I was able to negotiate the debt with an agent down to half which equated to XXXX. The debt was settled on XX/XX/19 and I received the following confirmation number:XXXX. Since XXXX, Transworld systems has kept calling me on a consistent basis and every time I speak to their agents, they confirm that my debt was paid and cant expalin why I am still receiving calls. I always have to re-explain my situation to every agent that calls me eventhough this debt was paid off nearly 5 months ago. It seems like this company is disorganized and their supervisors are completely uncooperative and unprofessional. I have had Transworld employees talk back to me and one supervisor even hung up on me. Today I was told by another supervisor by the name of XXXX that my debt is now back at the original amount which I dont understand because I already settled this debt back in XXXX and have proof of payment. I am tired of being misled and harassed by this company. Please contact me should you wish to discuss. Thank you.

Consumer Complaint: To Whom it May Concern : I am writing to submit a complaint against University Accounting Service , LLC ( UAS ). I have also just submitted a complaint against them with the XXXX XXXX XXXX. UAS incorrectly reported derogatory remarks of delinquent payments to the credit bureaus and refused to correct this. I made numerous attempts to discuss this account and mitigate the errors that occurred and, in spite of providing a significant amount of documentation and proof of their errors, they refused to submit letters to the bureaus to correct their error and the impact this has had on my credit score. It appears as though this lender is not a trusted lender any longer for my account and as such I have paid the account in full in order to end this relationship. It was a very small account and I had been paying the minimum monthly payments only because of the very low interest rate. As of XXXX or XXXX of this year, though I thought Id been successfully making payments for the preceding 5 months, these payments had failed to go through their electronic automatic payment platform. I can provide proof that I had received emails erroneously confirming that these payments were made successfully. There is a record of my consecutive attempts to correct this account and to pay off the total amounts due. There were errors by the IT payment platform and a lack of communication to help me rectify this, even upon numerous attempts on my part to correct this. There, apparently, was an error with my card, which I did not realize and this was never communicated. However, there is a paper trail of attempts from me to make these payments on time and that my bank account had sufficient funds for these payments. I also always ensured that there were sufficient funds in my account for the payments. There were never any notifications sent explaining the reason that these payments failed to go through or as to how to correct these issues in spite of my several attempts to correct this. The lender also did not make an effort to contact me to correct this ongoing error that clearly carries very weighty consequences. I will submit proof of my account statements with sufficient funds for these payments along with my payment confirmation emails, if applicable and necessary. Upon speaking with several customer service representatives and managers on recorded phone lines, I requested that they review documentation that I submitted to them to show that my checking account ( that Id linked to the UAS account for automatic payments ) had sufficient funds in my account at the time of the 5 attempted transactions. We discussed the several issues with their IT platform that led to this issue in the first place. I submitted to them as evidence multiple email confirmations of the payments that I submitted and those emails also stated that the funds had been drawn from my account. I never received communication from the UAS customer service team, the IT platform, or UAS in general that there was an issue with my card or payments, but only confirmation of two of these five payments, rather. I made numerous attempts to bring the account up to date. I made several attempts to respectfully request that UAS send letters to report this to all three credit bureaus ( XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX ), that these derogatory credit remarks should be removed and that the account is now paid in full, in good standing and subsequently closed. This is very important and has very serious and significant ramifications for my credit history, so I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter. Of course I am concerned for my own sake and want my account/credit report corrected. Of greater concern is the fact that I am not alone in these concerns. Per your website, there are 138 other people that have filed complaints against this lender. This is a company that is preying on students and destroying credit histories for their own gain. I want to hold this company accountable so others that don't know how to advocate for themselves or don't have the time, resources, etc. may also be protected against predatory lenders like this. The credit bureaus, for their part, took the " word '' of the lender over my extensive documentation refuting these derogatory remarks. Please see the following list of documents that I submitted to them to document the aforementioned evidence of payment activity and funds : XXXX XXXX Statement XXXX XXXX XXXX Statement XXXX XXXX XXXX Statement XXXX XXXX XXXX Statement XXXX XXXX XXXX Statement XXXX UAS email confirmation of Payment Applied/Funds Withdrawn XXXX UAS email confirmation of Payment Applied/Funds Withdrawn XXXX Screenshot UAS Connect Payment Applied History XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX Thank you very much for your time and help with this matter. Best, XXXX

Consumer Complaint: Transworld apparently purchased an account from XXXX or took over an account from XXXX for which I had an open dispute, they have reported it to credit reporting agencies negatively impacting my credit score and ability to rent in the future after a phone call with them on or about XX/XX/XXXX. I use XXXX XXXX and I received an alert from XXXX XXXX today ( XX/XX/XXXX ) that this report showed up on my credit. ( See my previous complaint again XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX was originally charging me over {$2600.00} in false charges for which they provided pictures of alleged damages. I sent in the attached letter of dispute and never heard back from anyone until Transworld initially contacted me back in XXXX. They said XXXX XXXX " investigated '' my dispute ( the dispute was against XXXX XXXX ) and that they removed all charges except {$390.00} which is for blinds and damaged doors. Their own pictures ( see previous dispute ) show the blinds and there is NO damage to the blinds. They also allege damages to doors for which they have no pictures of and I find it interesting they removed all other charges except for things they have no evidence of. I don't feel I should have to spend money hiring a lawyer when I have already proven that XXXX XXXX has lied and by their own admission by removing all the previous charges except for ones they have no evidence of. I explained all of this to Transworld when they called me and told them I was disputing the charges. After my phone conversation with them on or about XX/XX/XXXX, they mailed me a copy of my lease renewal in XXXX and itemized statement for the blinds and damaged doors. Again : XXXX XXXX XXXX own pictures show the blinds and there is no damage and there are no pictures of damaged doors. The pictures XXXX XXXX provided were of walls that weren't wiped down and dirty outside door/wall and tape on the ceiling from birthday balloons and dirty window seals, for which my deposit covered their cleanup charge of {$250.00}.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2019, I paid off my student loan with UAS ( servicing a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX refinance ) through a refinance with XXXX. Due to processing timelines, the amount paid by XXXX to UAS resulted in a {$210.00} overpayment of the amount, leaving the ~ {$200.00} credit on my UAS account. I reached out to UAS and they said the amount would be paid back to XXXX within 45-60 days. It is now past that timeline and they haven't responded to a more recent inquiry on the status.
