Consumer Complaint: I tried to contact XXXX XXXX directly because I knew I was late because a client had not paid me and I have now had to file a lawsuit. XXXX XXXX said I was a day late and they had sent me to collections and they could not help me. At that time the amount was around {$40000.00} but I could not even confirm this amount and they said they tool almost XXXX in points. On XX/XX/2020 I received a debt collection letter from XXXX XXXX which said I owed {$52000.00} which I had paid {$12000.00} directly to XXXX. Then on XX/XX/2020 I received a notice that I owed {>= $1,000,000}. These amounts were disputed and now I am getting debt collection notices from Nationwide Credit , Inc. saying I owe {$44000.00}.

Consumer Complaint: Hello, On XXXX of XXXX my wife and I contacted the actual company to see if we owed anything and if there was an amount left we were going to get on a payment plan. When calling XXXX and XXXX PA, they said they could not find an account under my name or social security number. It was like I never existed. The attorney I had once worked with in that firm, I was told, no longer works for them anymore. So we asked to be connected to the their collections department even though they were not showing to have an account with them or in collections. When speaking with their collections department ( Transworld Systems ), the same thing took place. They could not find anything anywhere under my name or social security number. So we said everything must be all clear because they were unable to validate it anywhere. Months later in XXXX my wife receives a call from Transworld Systems Inc. that there is a balance of over {$4200.00}. We were so confused because we tried so hard to make sure nothing would end up in collection to harm our credit. That is exactly what happened anyways. This has been haunting my credit ever since and my wife and I are trying to use my VA loan to get a home. I am working with someone in credit repair and I am trying really hard to have this taken off my credit report. The current amount that is showing, that I am aware of, is {$4000.00}. I talked to numerous people at XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX and there was nothing that I owed. Covered myself and even called collections to make sure I had nothing, and they had no account for me ... .I do not owe this debt and they can not validate that I owe this debt.

Consumer Complaint: Received a bill in XXXX from XXXX XXXX for a supposed visit in XXXX. The address was correct, however my last name wasn't on their invoice. I called the company and talked to XXXX ( ext XXXX ) and said it must be a mistake. I have a different company that installed my Water Heater and services it - since its under warranty. She said she is not changing any records - so I talked to the owner of the company and he said he will get back to me. 6 months later, in XXXX of XXXX I received another invoice with a different visit date, postmarked for XXXX - which I thought was also odd. The amount it {$240.00} dollars. I called to XXXX ( ext XXXX ) and went through same conversation. She said she is not changing anything so I requested any documentation to show that its me they dealt with. A PO, a signed purchase order, anything with my name on it, there was nothing. Then I get a call from Transworld System, a collection agency and they are now inquiring about this debt. So now this somehow spiraled out of control without me being involved. I have never done business with XXXX XXXX, and the fact that they can simply submit me to collections is amazing. With no proof or even my correct last name.

Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Account status incorrect
Consumer Complaint: I previously disputed an account on my credit file that was incorrect, reported by TSI ( Transworld Systems , Inc ) on behalf of XXXX XXXX. After a lack of results from my dispute attempts, I contacted TSI directly and advised them of the situation with this account : I believed this account was paid in full, as I did not receive a final bill from XXXX XXXX. Because of the alleged amount due, I believe that the service continued to be billed at my former address after I cancelled the service. Supervisor XXXX XXXX of TSI advised that she would contact XXXX XXXX to relay the dispute information, in an effort to come to an agreement on deletion of this account from my credit report. She followed up with me two days later and stated that XXXX agreed to delete the account if the payment was made. At this point, I just wanted it off my report, so I agreed ( even though I still believe that the balance is extremely inflated ). I paid the balance in full, and on XX/XX/2020 received a letter from TSI ( attached ) which verified that the account would be deleted from all three credit bureaus. Instead of honoring this agreement, TSI merely reported that the balance was paid in full - resulting in the collection being reactivated and lowering my score substantially. I contacted TSI again, and was told by a representative ( who claims to have called Supervisor XXXX XXXX to verify ) that TSI requested that the account be deleted, but that the credit bureau has the final say on how it is reported. I then contacted the credit bureaus who advised that they reported it as TSI requested it, as a balance update. They stated that they have no authority to determine what is reported or deleted, that they must report as the collection agency advises. I feel that TSI provided fraudulent advisement in an attempt to collect a debt, blatantly lying about what would occur once the payment was made.

Consumer Complaint: I had sent an email to Transworld Systems INC ( TSI ) they collect for the XXXX ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) and don't remember the date, to say that the amount was incorrect. I received an updated letter with an updated amount that I am willing to pay. Today XX/XX/20, XXXX, XXXX, I called XXXX, XXXX to ask what is the process to update, an account and remove it from my credit report once it is paid. I got XXXX on the line and asked her what is the process. She wanted to verify my identity first and I asked her what difference does my identity make. I'm just asking about the process. From my phone number she verified my identity and affirmed my identity. She would not shut her mouth and listen, kept speaking over me, kept interrupting me and would not give me the information I was requesting. I just said forget it and hung up.

Consumer Complaint: I got a letter from NCI ( Nationwide Credit Inc. ) stating that I owed {$870.00} to XXXX as of today 's date they came to my house and did a service call less than 2 weeks ago I never got a bill in the mail and thought I guess due to the pandemic I would receive one. As of today 's date I never got a bill in the amount of {$870.00} and never owed such a large amount of money to this company. I signed up for a monthly plan but never got a bill for {$870.00}. You can not pay a bill if you never got it and you can't ask for money that is not owed. Definitely can not do a service call this week and next week put a customer in collection. This is the most ridiculous set of accounting I have seen I know that I was ill and paid a fee to them that may have been returned and even that amount was never in the amount of {$870.00} which I made an effort to pay them and they closed the account out in a week and forwarded it to a collection not giving the customer enough time to settle the error and forward straight to collections if this company is doing this to me imagine all the other customers they are doing asking for money that is not owed and not billed and you are a customer this month and next month in collections in less than a month. I repeat I never got a bill for {$870.00} in all the time I have been a customer with this company I realize this is a pandemic but should people pay because they don't have proper staff to send a bill that is not correct.
