Consumer Complaint: I recently found out about a case of stolen identity on my credit report. There is an electric bill debt on my report that I realized was from an old roommate who stole my info and opened several accounts under my name. He opened a credit card and this electric service and ran up a {$700.00} debt under my name with XXXX. I got evicted from that apartment and was gone for most of the service period. This happened in XXXX. The debt got sold to a company named Transworld systems Inc and they put the debt on my report in XXXX. I contacted Transworld to let them know I was going to dispute. I sent them a letter first class on XX/XX/XXXX. They sent me back a letter dated XX/XX/XXXX acknowledging the receipt of my dispute. I sent them a letter stating they took longer then XXXX days on XX/XX/XXXX and I sent them proof of my eviction and I explained what happened with the roommate and that he snuck into my room and stole my personal info and signed up our apartment for service under my name and never paid the bill. He was supposed to be responsible for the electricity per our agreement but he opened the account with my personal info and never sent them payment. They sent me back a packet to fill out a few weeks later with an identity theft affidavit which I filled out and sent back. They did not respond until over a month later sending another packet for me to fill out -- the exact same packet they sent the first time, completely ignoring the packet I sent them. I filled it out, yet again, and they sent YET ANOTHER PACKET. I started to feel like they were purposefully ignoring me at this point. This time, I called them. I told them I used the address stated on the packet and asked them why they were not acknowledging the receipt of my filled out packet. They acted like I didn't know what I was talking about and they never received anything and I should email it this time. So I did. I emailed it on XX/XX/XXXX. I emailed them all previous letters, my id, my proof the debt doesn't belong to me, and the identity theft packet. No one has replied to me about my email. They have been ignoring my letters since XXXX. I called a few days ago and spoke to a man that said I'll never be able to dispute the debt by myself. They will keep ignoring me he said. Then he said something that really concerned me, -- he said I need his professional help, it was the only way to even attempt to get the debt removed, and I should give him my financial info. I asked why do I have to give you my card info? He told me because he needed to charge my card to run a credit report. I asked him why I needed him to run my report when he worked for Transworld systems and it was their account. He told me it was because they needed to verify the debt on my report. I really don't feel good about giving a creditor my financial info and this company seems very dishonest anyway. They have taken way over XXXX days to respond. I sent them their identity theft affidavit, with proof the debt is not mine, XXXX different times since XXXX and they completely ignore it. I never gave the man my debit card. I told him I would just call back. I still have not received a response to my multiple attempts to send them the packet since XXXX XXXX and I feel they are playing games with me at this point. I should have just contacted you the first time they took over XXXX days to respond. Please help me get this debt removed because they are not abiding by the law. Thank you for your time in advance.

Consumer Complaint: This month a collection debt for {$470.00} dollars appeared on my credit report. I have disputed it with all the credit companies, and nothing has changed. It says it's a collection account from XX/XX/2023... I have had XXXX XXXX XXXX for well over 4 years. It also does not have any attached information, everything is blank except for saying " original creditor is XXXX ''. A couple years ago I repeatedly disputed a XXXX account that was a " XXXX '' account line ( I'm nowhere near that age ) nor have any knowledge of that. I'm currently trying to build my credit so my family can get a house and this repeated debt that isn't mine is prohibiting me from doing that by further wrecking my credit.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX is trying to collect {$760.00} from me for my kids service date XX/XX/2023. It's a simple XXXX XXXX visit for both my kids and covered by insurance but they never filed it to the insurance and started sending me amount due letter from XX/XX/2023. I tried multiple times to call them and even had the insuracne company call them once so they can file the claim but they didn't do anything and continued to send me collection letters. I sent them a certified letter XX/XX/2023 asking them to provide me the detailed bill and proof that they have filed the claim with insurance. I didn't get any response to that letter. On XX/XX/2023 I went in person to the dental office on XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Arizona and they promised that they would file the claim with insurance company. They did file the claim with the insurance company for my XXXX XXXX and insurance denied the claim with the explanation that since the provider didn't file the claim in time they can't pay them with with mention of XXXX Patient responsibility. For my XXXX XXXX no claim has been filed with the insurance company. On XX/XX/2023 I have received a letter dated XX/XX/2023 from a debt collector agency Transworld Systems Inc that I owe {$760.00} to XXXX XXXX. Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX TRANSWORLD SYSTEMS INC XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX PA XXXX ( XXXX XXXX XXXX Dear XXXX XXXX XXXX, I have a fraudulent account that your company is reporting on my credit report that is a result of fraud and identity theft. I have filed a Police Report, Federal Trade Commission Identity Theft Report, and IRS Form 14039 Identity Theft Affidavit with the Criminal Investigation Department of the IRS ( See Attachments for Certified copies ). The address you are reporting has been included in the Police Report and reported as fraudulent I've never lived at that address. I request that this unauthorized item and alleged account to be removed and deleted from your file, records and/or system and you update the major credit bureaus to do the same. The following collection : TRANSWORLD SYSTEM INC ( Original Creditor : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, Account Number : XXXX, Amount : {$900.00}. TRANSWORLD SYSTEM INC continues to try to extort monies from me when no monies are due. In actuality TRANSWORLD SYSTEM INC owes me ME money. Month after month they continue to furnish negative information to the credit bureaus. I have no knowledge of account XXXX. I've called the alleged creditor XXXX XXXX XXXX and they have verified " NO ACCOUNT WITH THE SSN ENDING IN XXXX OR NAME IS IN OUR SYSTEM OR RECORDS. '' I contacted TRANSWORLD SYSTEM INC by way of Affidavit sent Certified Mail Return Receipt Requested with an Affidavit of Mailing. A copy of the Affidavit has been attached to this complaint. They've obtained my information by way of Identity Theft pursuant to OCGA 16-9-121. They've included that information in my consumers ' report in exchange for monetary compensation. Punishing me for the repayment of a alleged debt by furnishing nonpublic information without my consent to unauthorized third parties as a means to ruin my financial reputation is a violation of 18 USC 894. I've requested verification by way of Affidavit, which is to be sworn under penalty of perjury so that I may have the opportunity to hold XXXX XXXX and TRANSWORLD SYSTEM INC liable for making false and unsubstantiated claims against me. You have failed to rebut the Affidavit point for point in a timely manner. In commerce an unrebutted Affidavit stands truth! Also in any court of law, ALL debt must be sworn to. No such documentation exists from TRANSWORLD SYSTEM INC. Not to mention, of why we owed this amount to TRANSWORLD SYSTEM INC , the 1099 OID & all other related tax documents for this alleged account have failed to be produced to me for my inspection. We've NEVER done business with TRANSWORLD SYSTEM INC. Yet instead, we received an informal computer generated dunning letter containing our personal information and some start and end date of some alleged account. Not sure who TRANSWORLD SYSTEM INC is or how they got our information, but due to lack of information and evidence of us owing that amount, I will like to say that this account is fraudulent and kindly ask to have TRANSWORLD SYSTEM INC remove this account from their computer, books, and/or files & cease all collections activities. Please mail or forward all responses to the Notary address provided herein. Thank you for giving this matter your immediate attention. Warm Regards,

Consumer Complaint: I had a mobile number with XXXX XXXX for several years but rarely used it. Early this year I tried to close it by doing each of the following ( sometimes multiple times ). Visit to store, call customer service, chat sessions with customer service. This account had never been in arrears and has been unused for most of XXXX. Not only has the account remained open, twice now, after my requests to close, it I get emails saying it has been reopened. Furthermore, they have continued to accrue charges and have now turned that over to collection agency. My credit rating is well over XXXX and I do not want this to impact that. Ironically, my last request was in written/ mailed format. The response I got was another collection notice and a " congratulations, we restored your line '' email. It almost seems that the policy at XXXX XXXX is similar to the cases where a company intentionally makes it difficult or impossible to discontinue service. Thank you!
