Consumer Complaint: I recently received a letter from a company that appears to be fraudulent/ illegitimate. The letter was stating it was collecting for the auto insurance company I cancelled months ago after they refused to take payment for the policy that was set up for autopay out of my checking account. That part I am reaching out to a private attorney about for legal assistance. I XXXX the company when I received the letter 2 days ago and people were warning to contact their state attorney general office which I did here in Minnesota and they have record of my report to them and advised I reach out to the Federal trade commission which routed me to you and also that I should reach out the US postal inspection service as well. Consumer Complaint: Transworld Systems continues to report an inaccurate entry to all 3 credit bureaus XXXX charged me a {$450.00} early termination fee even though I fulfilled the full term of my contract with them before closing the account I have phoned, emailed, and faxed XXXX over 30 times according to the instructions given by them or one of their collection agencies with a response. XXXX changed collection agencies 4 times and 3 times in a 90 day period and continues to report this as a collection account. I've attached proof of my 6 months term and have all emails, faxes and phone calls recorded for litigation and damages Transworld refused a pay to delete offer. Entry to be removed

Consumer Complaint: The Department of Treasury garnished my wages and seized my state tax return to pay health insurance premiums for the XXXX XXXX MN when I was in an off duty status from my job as a rural mail XXXX due to an occupational injury that occurred late XXXX through my extensive shoulder XXXX in XXXX of XXXX ( through XXXX ). All of the debt ( from XXXX ) was paid through the garnishment and seizing my XXXX state tax return. I actually believe they took more than the debt. Now they have reported the same debt to the credit bureaus as well as sent me a letter stating I owe another {$1500.00} plus dollars via XXXX XXXX MN. I contacted the Department of Treasury and explained that all of the insurance premium debt had been paid and I do not understand what this letter for collection means. I requested a detailed statement to be mailed to me, I have not received this. I am at a loss as to what this is for. Even when I was finally able to receive XXXX Workmans Compensation for lost wages, which does quality control checks for any insurance payments that are to be deducted from the compensation, the checks came back that I do not owe insurance premium payments. I know this is a federal agency and I am sticking my neck out to report this but this is affecting my XXXX XXXX, my ability to purchase a home and everything is incorrect regarding the debt as well as again posting this to the credit bureaus. In fact, when my mortgage company checked my credit in XXXX, XXXX nothing from the Department of Treasury was on my report and to re-qualify for a mortgage and receive a pre-approval letter my mortgage company checked my credit this month ( XX/XX/XXXX ) and all of this is reported again. This is unbelievably stressful and has substantially increased my already high anxiety. I don't owe anything to them. Why are they doing this to me?

Consumer Complaint: Yesterday I contacted your company to ascertain the nature of your complaint. I was made aware when reviewing a XXXX notification that this same century link debt had been handled by another collection agency which subsequently withdrew their claim. Your representative said century link claimed I owed {$210.00} from a XXXX closed account. I disputed the claim and stated I wasnt even aware of century links claim until I saw the XXXX notification. I pointed out trying to locate a XXXX year old statement and then tracking down payment information for such an old debt was reason to just pay the claim but I wouldnt pay for a bad faith claim. I said I would give more thought to the situation but I wasnt inclined to make the payment without proof the debt is owed. Today ( XX/XX/XXXX ) my stepmother informed me had been contacted by trans world on multiple occasions ( including yesterday XX/XX/XXXX ). My stepmother is grieving the loss of my father who recently passed away. Having a debt collector harass my family over a disputed debt during a period of deep emotional strain is simply cruel and abusive tactics. I believe trans worlds conduct violates the rules established by Congress to protect consumers. I am asking this agency investigate my complaint and take the appropriate action to compel trans world to stop using such abusive and unconscionable tactics.

I called Transworld system who mentioned the violation is from unpaid tolls from XXXX XXXX. However, I have an XXXX XXXX and have been an XXXX XXXX holder since XXXX. My XXXX pass account has been on automatic payment since XXXX. Also I utilize the app that states no activity was made in the month of XX/XX/XXXX. Neither have i received any notification about an unpaid debt until just now that I have been sent to collections. I am very frustrated and will submit documents showing that I indeed am an XXXX XXXX holder with no transaction activity for the month of XXXX along with the statement i received today in my email from Transworld system inc. If a balance is owed I require proof along with balance being taken off from collections because again my XXXX pass account has been on automatic payment with my bank on file since XXXX so there should be no reason for my account to go into collections. I spoke to Transworld system inc today XX/XX/XXXX and they put a dispute and they also advised me to issue a dispute. Consumer Complaint: Account information : Original Creditor-Overlook at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) - XXXX ( XXXX ), XXXX ( XXXX ) According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act 15 USC 1681 section 602 a states " There is a need to ensure that consumer reporting agencies exercise their grave responsibilities with fairness, impartiality, and respect for the consumers right to privacy. '' XXXX and XXXX are consumer reporting agencies and I am the Consumer. I have the right to make sure my private information isn't shared which is backed by 15 USC 6801 which states It is the policy of the Congress that each financial institution has an affirmative and continuing obligation to respect the privacy of its customers and to protect the security and confidentiality of those customers nonpublic personal information. '' Transworld Systems Inc is a financial institution by definition under that title. 15 USC 1681 section 604 a section 2 states that " In general Subject to subsection ( c ), any consumer reporting agency may furnish a consumer report under the following circumstances and no other : in accordance with the written instructions of the consumer to whom it relates. '' Transworld Systems Inc, the financial institution and the Consumer reporting agencies XXXX and XXXX do not have my consent to furnish this information and they surely do not have my written consent. Any and all consent to XXXX, XXXX, Transworld Systems Inc whether it be verbal, non-verbal, written, implied or otherwise is revoked. 15 USC 6802 ( b ) ( c ) states that " A financial institution may not disclose nonpublic personal information to a nonaffiliated third party unless the consumer is given an explanation of how the consumer can exercise that nondisclosure option. '' Transworld Systems Inc never informed me of my right to exercise my nondisclosure option. Not only that 15 USC 1681C ( a ) ( 5 ) states '' Except as authorized under subsection ( b ), no consumer reporting agency may make any consumer report containing any of the following items of information Any other adverse item of information, other than records of convictions of crimes which antedates the report by more than seven years. '' This account is an adverse item they are reporting again without my permission which is against the law. 15 U.S. Code 1681s2 ( A ) ( 1 ) A states " A person shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate. 15 U.S. Code 1681e states '' Every consumer reporting agency shall maintain reasonable procedures designed to avoid violations of section 1681c of this title and to limit the furnishing of consumer reports to the purposes listed under section 1681b of this title. XXXX and XXXX are not maintaining reasonable procedures. Not only have they violated the Fair Credit Reporting Act, they also violated the Privacy Act of 1974 under 5 U.S. Code 552a.
