Consumer Complaint: I had a Federal Perkins Loan while attending XXXX XXXX XXXX I became XXXX with life-ending conditions. I submitted a Total and Permanent Discharge to XXXX which was approved on XX/XX/2023. XXXX sent notification to XXXX XXXX XXXX for they and University Accounting Services were handling the Federal Perkins Loan. XXXX and XXXX received notice from XXXX on XX/XX/2023 notifying them that a TPD discharge of federal loans had been approved and to 1. Discharge the Debt on their end or 2. Return the loan to XXXX and they would discharge it themselves. Because of various complications, this item has been appearing/disappearing from my credit reports for 6 months, and every time it reports my credit score plummets. Sometimes it shows the account open, sometimes closed, other times with many, many negative/derogatory marks, sometimes in deferment ( which it isnt ), its discharged. As of today, XX/XX/XXXX, I was notified by the CRA that I had a series of seriously delinquent late payments on my report. I have 5x120 day lates, multiple 30, 60, 90 day lates as well. Ive tried taking care of this matter but it seems futile. My health is extremely poor, and I have XXXX XXXXXXXX including an XXXX which will at some point XXXX XXXX XXXX suddenly. Im not asking for sympathy, but perhaps some empathy. My credit reports and scores are the first thing Ive been waking up to everyday, and its the worst feeling ever.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023 i received an email from TSI trying to collect {$52.00} on behalf of XXXX XXXX. The letter contained false information. I had an account with XXXX, which was set up with auto pay on XXXX day of each calendar month. On XX/XX/2023 my credit card was automatically charged {$52.00} ( monthly XXXX payment ). I called XXXX on XX/XX/2023, and request cancellation of the account due to move to a different state. On XX/XX/2023 I received a final statement from XXXX, showing XXXX owes me {$28.00} credit ( please see attached confirmation ). However, the statement showed the service was cancelled on XX/XX/2023, not XX/XX/2023. I did call XXXX customer service multiple times to understand why my service was not cancelled on XX/XX/2023 as requested, but did not get any straightforward answer. Neither did I receive a credit for {$28.00}. After multiple attempts to get a refund of {$28.00}, I disputed XX/XX/2023 charge of {$52.00} with my credit card. Credit card requested XXXX to provide supplement information to support the charge of {$52.00}, however, XXXX failed to provide it within required timeframe. Credit card recalled {$52.00} payment from XXXX and credited my account. It seems XXXX placed an account for collection with XXXX afterwards. However, XXXX supported the collection case with the statement invoiced on XX/XX/2023, reflecting faulty and incorrect information. The statement was not mailed to me, the customer, and contradicts the statement I received on XX/XX/2023, with invoice date of XX/XX/2023. On XX/XX/2023, I received a letter from XXXX saying they issued a check for {$28.00} on XX/XX/2023 but it was not cashed ( please see attached ). I called XXXX customer support again and received yet another misleading and faulty information. In the beginning of the conversation, XXXX agent said they were not aware of my address change and sent the check to old address. The information was false, since I advised XXXX customer service of the address change at the time I called to cancel the service. Moreover, XXXX agent stopped by my new address to reopen XXXX account, which I rejected. Not to mentioned I did request mail transfer from my old address to my new address with USPS. Thats how I received a final statement from XXXX on XX/XX/2023. Finally, the letter I received on XX/XX/2023 listed my new address. During phone conversation on XX/XX/2023 I asked the agent to issue another check to my new address on file. The agent said he will not do it because I disputed {$52.00} amount with my credit card. The agent ignored my statement that it contradicts the letter I received from XXXX on XX/XX/2023, saying it was automatically generated letter. Then I told agent, since XXXX does not want to refund me {$28.00} credit, it is unlawful to try to collect {$52.00} via XXXX, because the balance should be net of the credit that has never been issue and received, or {$52.00} XXXX, which is unpaid balance of {$24.00}. The agent said he is not willing to make an adjustment. As of today, XXXX provided fraudulent and controversial statements to collection agency vs myself/customer, did not share all the details of credit-debit reconciliation with collection agency, tried to collect higher balance vs actual amount owed, refused to refund the credit owed to myself/customer, and charge me for extra 7 day of service ( cancellation requested on XX/XX/2023 while account was not closed until XX/XX/2023 ) in retaliation of me not willing to reopen XXXX service at new location. Please investigate fraudulent activity of XXXX XXXX against their customer and help me resolve an issue. Thank you XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: I am being threatened with Administrative Wage Garnishment by Transworld Systems , INC. On behalf of the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for an alleged debt that is almost 7 years old. The Notice of Intent was sent to an address to which I have never been affiliated, and opened by other persons, not myself, constituting disclosing the fact that I allegedly owe a debt, the amount of the debt, to whom it is allegedly owed, who I am, and other personal information. The address to which the Notice of Intent was sent belongs to relatives, which is how I was notified of it's improper delivery. I only became aware of the Notice of Intent this XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX when the letter was sent on the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and my response was required by the XXXX XXXX XXXXXX/XX/2023. I was not afforded proper 30 days under applicable code to respond to the Notice of Intent. This is a blatant violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ).

Consumer Complaint: I noted a collection on my credit report that was not mine from Transworld Systems that noted it was for a {$310.00} debt for XXXX XXXX. I can not find any information on this power company other than that it has been sold. Transworld Systems has an online message board to enter issues to them but I have not heard a response. I have not lived in Texas nor ever had a reason to set up utilities in Texas which is where this company appears to have been in business. I have had several other fraudulent utility collections for power accounts in Texas despite a fraud alert on my credit report. The validation of my identity is not taking place. I have entered disputes with XXXX and XXXX with no results so far.

Consumer Complaint: I am reaching out to address a critical matter concerning XXXX 's inaccurate reporting on my consumer report, disseminated by XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX, which I believe constitutes violations of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), specifically 15 U.S. Code 1681s2. The FCRA clearly states in 15 U.S. Code 1681s2 ( a ) that furnishers of information to consumer reporting agencies have a " duty to provide accurate information. '' The law prohibits the furnishing of any information " if the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate. '' Moreover, the Internal Revenue Service ( IRS ) regulation is explicit, stating, " Even if you didn't receive a Form 1099-C, you must report canceled debt as gross income on your tax return. '' It is crucial to note that the IRS defines a charge-off as gross or ordinary income, emphasizing that " income does not get reported on the consumer report. '' Thus, any reporting of this account as a debt is inaccurate and in violation of IRS regulations. I urge the immediate correction of the account status to reflect " closed and paid as agreed. '' Additionally, the reporting of Charge Offs across all three credit reporting agencies by XXXX is inconsistent with 15 U.S. Code 1681s2 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ), which prohibits the furnishing of inaccurate information. The law specifically states, " A person shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate. '' The reporting of such inaccurate information has caused severe damage to my character, my reputation, my general mode of living and my ability to obtain credit for personal and house purposes. It has damaged my livelihood. In light of the above, I formally request a method and mode of verification for each credit reporting agency to rectify these inaccuracies promptly. I appreciate your attention to this matter and trust that the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau will conduct a thorough investigation to ensure compliance with consumer protection laws. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Consumer Complaint: To whom it may concern, Please be advised that this complaint is specific to my consumer rights and protections and specific to the {$350.00} posted on my credit report as a collection. The law states, when a debt collector contacts you about a debt, they are LEGALLY REQUIRED to provide information about that debt, including the name of the creditor, the amount owed, and MY RIGHT TO DISPUTE. Unfortunately, this legal requirement did not happen prior to placing this debt on my credit report, wheras I was never contacted. The attached response letter from Transworld Systems INC ( TSI ) serves as proof that TSI, violated my consumer rights when they failed to provide me the legally 30 days requirement to dispute the debt owed or pay the debt prior to placing this debt in collection on XXXX ( see screen shot of credit report specific to this debt ). On XXXX I submitted a complaint regarding this debt that was placed on my credit report as a collection. On XX/XX/, TSI responded to my complaint ( see attached ) ; the reponse states " On XXXX TSI electronically mailed an initial Demand Letter to the email address we have on our systems '' ( TSI failed to attach proof that they emailed me a demand letter or the email adress ). However, my credit report reflects that the debt was posted on my credit report on XX/XX/ prior to the demand letter notifying me of the debt and giving me the opportunity to cure the debt or dispute it. Therefore, I am requesting this company remove this debt from my credit report or be prosecuted by CFPB Enforcement Actions.
