Consumer Complaint: I filed a dispute for incorrect information on my credit report. I received an email from the credit bureau stating that they are assuming the disputes are coming from a 3rd party. They in fact did not come from a 3rd party. l even called them to verify it was me and they still refused to process my disputes. I wasted money on mailing my disputes out. I sent personal information to verify my identity through mail, just for them to not thoroughly investigate.

In compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act and as a gesture of respect to the Federal Trade Commission Committee on accuracy and completeness of credit information I am formally writing in today to dispute negative information appearing on my credit. This incorrect information is greatly hindering me from getting the credit score I deserve and hopefully, this letter will resolve all the issues on my credit. Consumer Complaint: I am writing in response to the ongoing matter related to CFPB complaint number XXXX regarding my concerns with XXXX XXXX XXXX Upon receipt of the documentation provided by XXXX XXXX, it has become apparent that there are significant discrepancies between the alleged balance reported for account XXXX and the information contained in the paperwork sent to me. The balance on my credit report does not align with the documentation, raising further concerns about the accuracy of the reported information. Additionally, I would like to emphasize that, based on the statute of limitations in the state of Texas, this debt has been deemed uncollectible since XXXX Therefore, the continued reporting of this debt is not only inaccurate but also in violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ). Given the substantial discrepancies and potential FCRA violations, I must insist on the removal of this account within the next 7 days. I have attempted to address and rectify this situation, but the disparities persist. To provide clarity and evidence, I will be attaching my credit report to this communication, highlighting the inconsistency in the reported balance and supporting the claim that this debt is, indeed, uncollectible. I trust that your prompt attention to this matter will lead to a swift resolution. However, if the account is not removed within the specified timeframe, I regrettably inform you that I will have no choice but to pursue legal action to seek both compensation and justice for the violations incurred. Civil liability for willful noncompliance, any person failing to comply is liable to the consumer for actual damages sustained, ranging from a minimum of {$100.00} to a maximum of {$1000.00}.
