Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Information belongs to someone else
Consumer Complaint: I have been trying to solve this problem for some time with the credit reporting agencies and the corporations and debt collectors they allowed to put inaccurate items on my credit report without permissible purpose. They have continued to report items as well without my permission and not being 100 % accurate under 15 US Code 1681e ( b ). I am a litigious consumer meaning I am unreasonably prone to go to court to settle disputes and am in the process of taking legal action in this matter to enforce my rights under FCRA and FDCPA. This is my official notice.

Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Old information reappears or never goes away
Consumer Complaint: On or about XX/XX/22 I noticed a collection on my credit report from XXXX XXXX XXXX regarding a XXXX XXXX XXXX. I paid immediately based on the statement by the collector that the item would then be deleted from my credit report. I called back recently looking for an update and was told that they would only be updating this to paid and the collection wording would remain on my report. This was NOT what I was told. All calls into collection agencies are recorded. Pull and review the recording. If I am not given the arrangement that I was told, I intend to pursue this with an attorney for damages. I have attached a copy of this tradeline from my credit report below.

Issue: Problem with a company's investigation into an existing problem
Subissue: Their investigation did not fix an error on your report
Consumer Complaint: The failure to further and fully investigate the matter is absurd! A comprehensive investigation would reveal I did not apply for any credit would underscore your failure to conduct a thorough inquiry into the matter. A violation of 15 USC 1611 has occurred, indicating a breach under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ) with criminal liability for willful and knowing violations. I disagree with the decision as this debt is not mine, and I should not be held accountable for someone else using my information. Section 1692K of the FDCPA imposes civil liability for violations, emphasizing the importance of fair debt collection practices. Additionally, Section 1681 highlights the significance of accurate credit reporting in maintaining the efficiency of the banking system, while Section 812 prohibits the creation of false beliefs regarding debt collection involvement. For violations such as failure to validate a debt and continued reporting to credit bureaus, the Consumer Protection under the FDCPA affords potential fines as follows : * FDCPA Section 809 ( b ) and FTC opinion letter Case from XXXX : Fine of {$1000.00}. * Defamation, financial injury- US Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit, No. 00-15946 Nelson v. Chase Manhattan : Fine of {$5000.00} or the extent of damages incurred by the wronged party as determined by the courts. * Defamation, willful injury - FCRA Section 623 CUSHMAN v. TRANSUNION CORPORATION ; US Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit Court Case 115 F.3d 220, June 9, 1997 Filed ( D.C. No. 95-cv-01743 ) : Fine of {$5000.00} or the extent of damages incurred by the wronged party as determined by the courts.
