Consumer Complaint: In accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act. The List of accounts below has violated my federally protected consumer rights to privacy and confidentiality under 15 USC 1681. I told XXXX, Transunion, and XXXX to reinvestigate these accounts : XXXX # XXXX, XXXX # XXXX, XXXX # XXXX, XXXX # XXXX, XXXX XXXX # XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX # XXXX, XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX # XXXX. However, they stated everything was completed and accurate. But how is that possible if the open date, date of last activity and much more is incorrect. According to 15 USC 1681i ( 5 ), they are supposed to modify accounts that aren't reporting correctly. 15 U.S.C. 1681s-2 ( A ) ( 1 ) A person shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX ) has reported a derogatory account of {$490.00} on my credit report, and I was never notified of this debt before it appeared on my credit report. I have initiated multiple disputes, addressing the failure to notify me of the debt and the lack of proper time allowed for disputing inaccurate information. Despite informing TransUnion and XXXX of these violations, they persist in conducting automated investigations and refuse to comply with Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) Regulations. On XX/XX/XXXX, I filed a complaint against XXXX with the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Several weeks later, on XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX updated the balance to {$320.00} in response to my complaint. This swift adjustment suggests a lack of thorough investigation by the credit bureaus and indicates XXXX 's uncertainty about the accurate debt amount. In my reply to XXXX on the same day, XX/XX/XXXX, I asked for concrete proof of debt notification and validation. They claimed to have " no record of that letter being returned undelivered and no record of me disputing the debt or requesting validation during the XXXX period. '' It's unsurprising that they have no records, considering they never sent anything. What record could they possibly have? If you sent it by certified mail, why are you unable to provide the receipt? However, their response on XX/XX/XXXX failed to offer any evidence of notification, lacking a certified mail receipt or any supporting documentation. Instead, XXXX provided a validation of debt that contradicted the amount reported just XXXX days earlier ( See supporting Evidence ). Despite previous disputes that returned as verified, XXXX failed to update the status to " in dispute. '' It is apparent that the debt was not {$490.00} nor was it {$320.00}. As of XX/XX/XXXX, an additional {$130.00} has been removed, reinforcing the assertion that the debt is neither accurate nor valid, as previously outlined in disputes that were disregarded ( See Supporting Evidence ). Additionally, XXXX 's failure to update the status to " in dispute, '' despite multiple investigations they claim to have conducted, and the reporting of the date of last activity in different years for both Transunion and XXXX further solidify that none of the involved parties are performing any meaningful investigation or verification.

Consumer Complaint: I lodged a complaint with these Bureaus a month ago, but unfortunately, the inaccurate information on my report still remains. I haven't received any communication from the Bureaus, except for the notification that you sent stating that the company has responded to my complaint. How can I be certain that they have thoroughly checked the inaccuracies on my report? What methods did they employ to validate the accounts? This whole situation is incredibly frustrating! It's been more than 30 days since I filed a complaint with these Bureaus, and yet the disputed accounts have not been updated. If this continues, I will have no choice but to take legal action due to the immense stress this has caused me. Moreover, I am also concerned about the security of my personal data, as it was affected by the XXXX, XXXX, and Transunion data breach.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX placed a {$6400.00} collection on my credit report for a debt related to an apartment in XXXX. I disputed this with Transunion, XXXX and XXXX requesting a verification of the debt that was not received and all three bureaus stated the investigation proved the debt was mine. On XX/XX/XXXX I contacted the debtor via phone requesting documentation that I indeed owed monies to them and was told my file could not be located but that the computer showed a balance. I then contacted the collection company whom stated that they do not have documentation outside of an invoice from the company but would not provide me with the documentation. I also requested a payment plan to try and resolve but was told I would not receive the payment plan in writing, as they did not provide any such documentation. I then contacted the debtor and requested that collection activities cease immediately due to no proof of debt/proof of payment plan. Neither has cooperated. 15 U.S. Code 1692g - Validation of debts States that b ) Disputed debts If the consumer notifies the debt collector in writing within the thirty-day period described in subsection ( a ) that the debt, or any portion thereof, is disputed, or that the consumer requests the name and address of the original creditor, the debt collector shall cease collection of the debt, or any disputed portion thereof, until the debt collector obtains verification of the debt or a copy of a judgment, or the name and address of the original creditor, and a copy of such verification or judgment, or name and address of the original creditor, is mailed to the consumer by the debt collector. Collection activities and communications that do not otherwise violate this subchapter may continue during the 30-day period referred to in subsection ( a ) unless the consumer has notified the debt collector in writing that the debt, or any portion of the debt, is disputed or that the consumer requests the name and address of the original creditor. Any collection activities and communication during the 30-day period may not overshadow or be inconsistent with the disclosure of the consumers right to dispute the debt or request the name and address of the original creditor.
