Any person who is negligent in failing to comply with any requirement imposed under subchapter III Chapter 41 title 15 with respect to any consumer is liable to that consumer in an amount equal to the sum of any actual damages sustained by the consumer because of the failure not less than {$100.00} and not more than {$1000.00}. Thee furnishers and reporting companies do not guarantee any accuracy at all, and avoid liability for inaccurate information. Therefore, none of the information reported should be on the consumer report, or consumer file disclosure, or anything else. You can not " verify '' something under dispute and not accept liability for verifying whatever it is being verified. Especially when it is know that the information is unreliable as demonstrated by every furnisher 's and consumer reporting company 's Terms.
