Issue: Problem with a company's investigation into an existing problem
Subissue: Difficulty submitting a dispute or getting information about a dispute over the phone
Consumer Complaint: Dear Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, I am writing to file a complaint against Transunion for making it difficult to upload all dispute documents on their website. Recently, I attempted to file a dispute on their website and upload supporting documentation. Unfortunately, I found out that they only allow a total of 5 MB of documentation to be uploaded. This is extremely inconvenient because it is equivalent to only 1 or 2 pages of documentation. As a result, I was unable to upload all of the necessary supporting documentation to fully explain my dispute, and I feel that my dispute was not fully represented. I believe this is an unfair practice that makes it difficult for consumers to have their disputes fully resolved. Also, when I go back online to follow up on the dispute ; the system doesn't show which disputes were made and there is no email confirmation of the submittal of the disputed accounts like there was for the account statement notification. I kindly request that the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau investigate this matter and take appropriate action against Transunion to ensure that they provide a fair and efficient dispute resolution process for all consumers. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. Sincerely, XXXX XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: Called Transunion to discuss the discrepancies, violations, etc., but was given the runaround regarding my concerns with the promotional inquiries that say that I opted out on my report but my report shows inquiries from companies that I have no accounts or attachments to. I am writing to address the ongoing contractual violations by XXXXXXXX XXXX ( multiple accounts ), XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX ( multiple accounts ), XXXX XXXX, TRANSUNION, XXXX, XXXX, etc., resulting in significant breaches of federal privacy laws and rendering our contract void and ineffective immediately.
