Issue: Problem with a company's investigation into an existing problem
Subissue: Investigation took more than 30 days
Consumer Complaint: I lodged a complaint with these Bureaus a month ago, but unfortunately, the inaccurate information on my report still remains. I haven't received any communication from the Bureaus, except for the notification that you sent stating that the company has responded to my complaint. How can I be certain that they have thoroughly checked the inaccuracies on my report? What methods did they employ to validate the accounts? This whole situation is incredibly frustrating! It's been more than 30 days since I filed a complaint with these Bureaus, and yet the disputed accounts have not been updated. If this continues, I will have no choice but to take legal action due to the immense stress this has caused me. Moreover, I am also concerned about the security of my personal data, as it was affected by the XXXX, XXXX, and Transunion data breach.

Consumer Complaint: To whom it may concern. I don't have exact dates for the below description of events but will try my best to be as specific as possible. 1 ) I leased a XXXX XXXX from XXXX that was financed through XXXX XXXX XXXX. 2 ) During the lease period, XXXX changed their internal policy regarding how excise tax was billed and paid. This included Re-routing payments to the lease toward the excise tax and negating the monthly payment. I WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THIS POLICY. 3 ) I never missed a payment to XXXX, nor were any of my payments late. XXXX allocated 3 payments to my excise tax and marked my scheduled payments as delinquent. XXXX FAILED TO REPORT LATE PAYMENTS TO ME OR NOTIFY ME OF THIS POLICY, 4 ) I received a phone call in the summer of XXXX notifying me that my car was going to be repossessed. I had not missed a payment and was not aware that I had any outstanding bills with the finance company. I PAID THE ENTIRE OUTSTANDING TAX ON THIS CALL AND WAS TOLD THAT IT WOULD NOT AFFECT MY CREDIT REPORT. 5 ) In XX/XX/XXXX, I returned to lease another vehicle from XXXX. I was then informed that i could not qualify for the lease because my credit score was a XXXX. XXXX MISREPRESENTED THEMSELVES ON THE WHERE THEY TOLD ME MY CREDIT REPORT WOULD NOT BE AFFECTED. 6 ) While at the dealership, I contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX to inform them that they had, in fact, destroyed my credit score and that I was trying to lease another vehicle. I WAS TOLD ON THIS CALL THAT XXXX WOULD FIX THE CREDIT REPORT. They informed me that this would not be immediate. I was forced to lease the vehicle under my wife 's credit until the correction would take effect. THIS WAS THE SECOND LIE FROM XXXX. 7 ) My credit score at the time of the lease of the XXXX XXXX was XXXX. It dropped to XXXX. I could not a ) refinance my home to a lower rate and b ) not lease a new vehicle due to this change. The only bad marks on my credit score were the 3 from XXXX. 8 ) I have filed complaints with both the XXXX and the credit score companies. They had done an investigation with XXXX that went unanswered. XXXX DID NOT RESPOND TO THE INVESTIGATIONS. 9 ) I called XXXX on a dozen occasions to try to plead my case only to have it fall on deaf ears. This has taking days worth of time and has not amounted to anything. 10 ) XXXX HAS ALREADY BEEN SUED ON A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT FOR THIS EXACT BEHAVIOR AND LOST. If there is anything that can be done to correct the pain on my credit score and protect others from this predatory behavior, please let me know. I would advise anyone not to do business with this corporation.

Consumer Complaint: I, XXXX XXXX XXXX, am a natural living person. I am writing to dispute certain information present on my credit report, which I believe is inaccurate. This dispute is based on the provisions outlined in the Fair Credit Reporting Act, including 15 U.S. Code 1681a, 15 U.S. Code 1681s-2, and 15 USC 1681a 2 ( A ) ( i ). According to 15 U.S. Code 1681a, the definition of a consumer report excludes reports containing information solely as to transactions or experiences between the consumer and the reporting entity. It is evident that the information in dispute falls under this exclusion. Furthermore, 15 U.S. Code 1681s-2 emphasizes the responsibility of furnishers of information to consumer reporting agencies. The law stipulates that furnishers must provide accurate information and prohibits reporting with actual knowledge of errors. In addition, 15 USC 1681a 2 ( A ) ( i ) supports my claim by specifying exclusions from the definition of a consumer report, highlighting the relevance of the disputed information to this exclusion. I am also placing a FTC reference number- # XXXX so that you can verify the inaccuracy of fraud that is placed on my credit report. Now based on the provisions mentioned above, I kindly request an investigation into these discrepancies and urge prompt action to rectify the inaccuracies. As per my rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, I also request that you provide me with a written explanation of the results of your investigation. Enclosed are copies of documents supporting my claim for your review. I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and request that the inaccurate information be corrected or removed from my credit report at the earliest.
