Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX verified information on my credit report as accurate. The status of my dispute was updated to Verified as of XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, I mailed a letter to XXXX asking the bureau to Please inform me to the procedure used to determine that the information provided by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX is accurate and complete. I requested that XXXX provide me with the business name and the address of any furnisher of information that verified this debt. Also, a contact person and a method to contact the furnisher was requested. As I informed XXXX, XXXX, and Transunion, I have had no contract with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and the debt is reporting inaccurate on all three credit reports. In addition, it is not past due as of XX/XX/XXXX because I do not have a contract with the company nor did I agree to any payment terms for the account to report as past due. XXXX has the status of this account listed as past due as of XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX has the status of this account listed as collection but is not reporting the last payment date or the alleged date of the first delinquency. Transunion reports the account as closed as of XX/XX/XXXX. In addition, the update dates conflict. ( See the attached reports ). The actions of the credit bureaus have repeatedly violated my rights as a consumer to maintain an accurate credit report. Pursuant to Section 1681e of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), consumer reporting agencies are mandated to ensure the utmost accuracy of all information contained within consumer reports. However, it is evident that each credit bureau has disseminated disparate statuses concerning the same account. Moreover, the credit bureaus have failed to furnish any response regarding the verification process of the reported information, despite my unequivocal awareness of its inaccuracy. I hereby request the removal of this account from all three credit reports. I started this dispute process more than 30 days ago and I am asking that this account be removed. Section 1681s-2 of the FCRA obliges furnishers of information to provide information that is accurate and comprehensive. I also disputed a XXXX account that is several years old ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) and reporting two late payments. The late payments are reported inaccurately but now XXXX is reporting that the status is Paid on Time as of XX/XX/XXXX and as of XX/XX/XXXX. How is that possible when it was a lease was paid in full and closed in XX/XX/XXXX? I have asked XXXX, XXXX and Transunion to please remove these two account ( s ) that are reporting inaccurate on all three credit reports. Transunion has consistently responded promptly to my concerns and I appreciate that, but I am seeing that these accounts are reporting inconsistently across credit bureaus and this is a violation. Please remove these accounts from my credit report. I have asked for these accounts t to be investigated on my credit report. Pursuant to Section 1681e of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), consumer reporting agencies are supposed to thoroughly investigate the disputes and they are supposed to remove inaccurate information. This process has now exceeded 30 days. I am requesting removal.
