Issue: Problem with a company's investigation into an existing problem
Subissue: Their investigation did not fix an error on your report
Consumer Complaint: I disputed several accounts on my TransUnion report, asking TransUnion to remove them as a courtesy, to prevent me from filing legal action against them as I have already won and proved in court, I am not legally responsible for the same accounts against XXXX. In turn TransUnion put the accounts in dispute for identity theft. Although the lawsuit was about identity theft, my request to remove the accounts was not! I never asked for a dispute of the accounts but for Transunion to just remove them as it has already been proven in the eyes of the law that I'm not responsible for them. I am not asking for a dispute but for removal or I will have to take legal action against them just as I did XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: I am writing to bring to your attention a pressing matter involving TransUnion 's unjust stalling tactics in response to my legitimate credit disputes and the addition of erroneous accounts to my credit report. Despite my efforts to resolve inaccuracies directly with TransUnion, their refusal to address the disputes under the pretext of unidentified origin, coupled with the inclusion of false information, raises serious concerns and has significantly damaged my creditworthiness. TransUnion has, on multiple occasions, claimed an inability to respond to disputes, citing an inability to identify the source of the dispute. This unfair and obstructive procedure has allowed them to evade accountability for inaccuracies they willingly added to my credit report. The impact on my creditworthiness, stemming from the inclusion of accounts attributed to XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ), XXXX XXXX, and XXXX XXXX is evident and deeply concerning. This stalling procedure is not only unfair but should be considered illegal, as it denies consumers the right to challenge and rectify inaccuracies on their credit reports. It is perplexing that TransUnion can readily add false information but hesitates to address legitimate disputes, leading to severe consequences for the affected individual. In light of these circumstances, I urgently request the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to investigate TransUnion 's stalling tactics, the unjust refusal to identify the source of disputes, and the inclusion of erroneous accounts. I believe that immediate action is necessary to rectify these unfair practices and ensure that TransUnion is held accountable for their actions. Moreover, I wish to highlight that I am prepared to explore legal ramifications if necessary to protect my rights as a consumer and seek appropriate restitution for the harm caused
