Subissue: Investigation took more than 30 days
Consumer Complaint: I have already sent a letter addressing the inaccuracies and unknown items on my credit report, but unfortunately, I have not received any response even after 30 days. It feels like I'm being taken advantage of and my disputes are being ignored. According to Section 611 ( a ), if these items are not investigated within 30 days, they should be promptly removed from my credit report. Since it has been over 30 days, I expect these accounts to be updated immediately. If not, I will have no choice but to pursue legal action due to the stress this situation has caused me. Additionally, my information was also affected by the XXXX, XXXX, and Transunion data breach, which raises concerns about the security of my personal data.

Consumer Complaint: I have attached a FTC Identity Theft Report outlining fraudulent accounts, that are currently listed on my credit report and file. XXXX XXXX with account number XXXX for the amount of {$12000.00}, and account number XXXX for {$27000.00} are fraudulent and are not my accounts. I contacted XXXX as well regarding this issue. I demand these transactions that were a result of identity theft be blocked and removed from my credit report within 4 business days ( Per 15 U.S. Code 1681c-2 ), as it has caused me and my reputation personal harm and discrimination. This request was not made in error I am competent in making this request. I did not receive any goods, services, or money in any of these transactions. Thank you for your prompt assistance.

Consumer Complaint: Subject : Urgent : Request for Assistance - Potential FCRA Violations Dear Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, I am writing to bring to your attention a significant issue I am facing concerning potential violations of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) by my student loan provider. A year ago I discovered discrepancies in my credit report that have had a substantial impact on my credit history and score. First my account with student loans was only one and it was closed for a full year. Yet one XXXX and Transunion never merged same information on the closed account. So I contacted the lender disputing the inaccurate information that it might need to be adjusted. Instead the following happens. The situation involves the reopening of a closed student loan account, after a full year, resulting in the creation of XXXX new accounts. This has led to a considerable decrease in my credit score, from XXXX to XXXX impacting my financial standing. My income is {$0.00} as I am caring for XXXX XXXX children. Based on my understanding of the FCRA, particularly Sections 611 and 623, I believe there may be violations related to inaccurate reporting and the reopening of accounts without proper explanation. I have already initiated disputes with the credit reporting agencies to address these inaccuracies directly with them. However, I am reaching out to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau seeking your assistance and guidance in resolving this matter. I kindly request your intervention to : 1. Investigate the potential FCRA violations related to the reopening and splitting of my student loan accounts. 2. Facilitate communication and resolution between myself and the loan provider to rectify these inaccuracies promptly. I have attached relevant documentation, including copies of my credit reports, for your reference. Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated, as it has significant implications for my financial well-being. Thank you for your invaluable service and commitment to protecting consumer rights. Sincerely, XXXX XXXX
