Consumer Complaint: I am submitting a complaint against TransUnion due to their failure to address a dispute letter I sent them on XX/XX/year>, via USPS certified mail tracking # XXXX. In the letter, I requested an investigation into inaccurate items on my credit report, including entries from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and two bankruptcy references. Additionally, I disputed incorrect personal information listed on my credit report and provided copies of my photo ID, social security card, and recent bill with my current address to assist TransUnion in verifying my identity and address. TransUnion responded on XX/XX/year>, stating that they received a request containing my information but could not verify its authenticity. They emphasized their commitment to privacy and security and mentioned that they would not process requests unless they came directly from me or an authorized third party. This response indicates a failure on TransUnion 's part to conduct a reasonable investigation upon receipt of my dispute, as required by the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ). It is their obligation to verify the accuracy of the information in my credit report, and their failure to do so constitutes a violation of my consumer rights. Enclosed with this complaint are copies of my dispute letter sent to TransUnion, USPS certified mail proof of delivery, and TransUnions response as proof.

Consumer Complaint: I have been reporting the same problem to you all for some time now regarding my issues and problems with XXXX, XXXX, and Transunion credit reporting agencies and so far nothing has been done about it as of yet. I have inaccurate information reporting on all of my credit reports that pertain to the following : XXXX. XXXX : is reporting twice on XXXX with two different amounts even though this is not my account and never was. I have filed several disputes and asked that the information be deleted/removed and it has not as of yet even though I have been disputing this matter for a very long time. XXXX. XXXX : did not abide by the XXXX rules about this account and the amount is also incorrect. XXXX is currently in the midst of a lawsuit over this same issue and problem that pertains to XXXX people. They report the account as a charge-off and a collection so it impacts your credit reports multiple times along with your score and you never receive the points back that you lost to begin with. XXXX. XXXX : had an account with them that was paid in full via an insurance settlement and they still refuse to delete/remove the account from all three of my credit reports even though they received all of the money. Reporting as a collection and a charge-off on all three of my credit reports. Also is reporting me as late this account was never late and has been paid in full as of XX/XX/. XXXX. XXXX XXXX : The account was paid in full and settled by me with the company it is still adversely impacting all three of my credit reports and scores. I have asked that the account be updated and I have documentation to support this being the case. I have asked that the account be deleted/removed. Also is reporting me as late and a collection this account was never late and has been paid in full as of XX/XX/23. XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX : is reporting me as late and as a collection and charge-off even though I paid this account in full by XX/XX/23 and I have the documentation to support this being the case. I also have several hard inquiries listed on all of my credit reports that I never had anything to do with either and this has not been deleted or removed either. I also see that dates have changed over and over again as it pertains to the date the item was listed on my account to when the items should fall off completely. These dates have changed significantly to keep the items listed on all three of my credit reports longer than they need to be in an attempt to keep my scores lower than they should be. The credit bureaus are doing this purposely as it pertains to me and people of color so that we do not qualify for credit like our white counterparts. Again I have been complaining about these issues to you all for years and nothing has been done about it. This is fraud and it is also illegal to do. I am now going to be moving forward with a federal lawsuit against everyone involved in this matter until I am made whole and my credit reports have been updated properly. This is unacceptable, egregious, and not conducive to how you handle business at all. What is the point of filing complaints if nothing is going to be done or investigated?
