Issue: Problem with a company's investigation into an existing problem
Subissue: Their investigation did not fix an error on your report
Consumer Complaint: I filed a dispute for incorrect information on my credit report. I received an email from the credit bureau stating that they are assuming the disputes are coming from a 3rd party. They in fact did not come from a 3rd party. l even called them to verify it was me and they still refused to process my disputes. I wasted money on mailing my disputes out. I sent personal information to verify my identity through mail, just for them to not thoroughly investigate.

Consumer Complaint: The Letter Below Was Sent to : XXXX, XXXX and Transunion Credit Bureaus today XX/XX/XXXX. CFPB 's action is urgently needed to pulverize these 3 Credit Bureaus. ********************************* XXXX XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, TX XXXX Dear Sir/Madam : YOUR AGENCY HAS ONCE AGAIN TAINTED MY CREDIT JUST IN THE LAST FEW DAYS!!! This is PLAIN XXXX!!! My credit reviews with several of my creditors were greatly impacted recently in the last few days based on your XXXX FALSE and INACCURATE reporting despite my best effort to improve my credit score in the last XXXX or XXXX years. Just XXXX weeks ago my Score Ingredients were rated as follows : XXXX. Payment history = Exceptional XXXX. Current debts = Fair XXXX Credit history = Very Good XXXX. New credit applications= Good, and XXXX. Types of credit = Exceptional Most recently ( XX/XX/XXXX ), your credit reporting agency has provided false, inaccurate, and tainted information regarding my CREDIT SCORE to all my current creditors. These creditors have recently done DRASTIC negative actions on my credit including the following : lowering my internal credit score based on the tainted credit score you recently provided them, interest rate ( XXXX ) being raised from XXXX XXXX to XXXX XXXX, others reduced my internal credit score by as much as XXXX points downward, and they also reduced my available credit limit causing my ratio of utilization to look very BAD XXXX! ), and other various negative actions. I believe that your agency has just provided false and inaccurate CREDIT SCORE information to several of my creditors and hence they did severe actions against my credit accounts just several days this XX/XX/XXXX. How can you afford to just downgrade my CREDIT SCORE at XXXX when my score ingredients ranged from FAIR to EXCEPTIONAL? ( See above ). The only thing I did was to apply for a new credit account with XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) at their own offering at XXXX XXXX for the next XXXX months and an approved credit limit of {$1800.00}. Why would you lower my CREDIT SCORE when I did nothing wrong credit-wise. I was offered by XXXX XXXX XXXX ( in good faith ) because my credit risk has improved very well recently. I accepted the XXXX offer on that premise. But you guys at XXXX downgraded my CREDIT SCORE consequently. WHY? What the XXXX of a policy is that? Id say your agency is a XXXX XXXX and is screwing customers like me. I am writing to have my CREDIT SCORE corrected within your agency so that my credit and credit history will look much better than what you have portrayed and provided in my credit reports inquiry recently in the past few days. I have consistently made my payments on time 100 % without FAILURE!!! HOW CAN MY SCORE GO DOWN by XXXX points or even more? YOU HAVE CONTINUALLY DESTROYED AND TARNISHED MY CREDIT RECORD DESPITE MY PERSISTENT GOAL TO REPAIR IT. I HAVE BEEN REBUILDING MY CREDIT IN THE LAST 5 YEARS AND I HAVE NOT SEEN MUCH IMPROVEMENT IN MY CREDIT REPORT BECAUSE THE INFORMATION THAT YOU HAVE IN YOUR SYSTEM IS NOT CORRECT AT ALL. THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN QUITE AN IMPROVEMENT IN THE SCORE at least just from this past year XXXX!!! PLEASE XXXX REVIEW/RE-EVALUATE MY CREDIT SCORE!!! PLEASE directly contact all my creditors whom you have provided FALSE and INACCURATE information more recently and provide them with the TRUE/CORRECT UNBIASED XXXX XXXX. Name : XXXX XXXX XXXX DOB : XXXX XX/XX/XXXX SSS ID : XXXX Cphone : XXXX Current Mailing/Physical Address : XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, MN XXXX I look forward to receiving a copy of my updated XXXX XXXX and detailed report from your Credit Bureau as soon as possible . A copy of this letter was provided to CFPB for appropriate action.
