Consumer Complaint: 15 USC 1681 a ( d ) ( 2 ) ( A ) ( i ) clearly states that transactions between the consumer and the Person/Corporation making the report is NOT included on the consumer reports. Yet TransUnion, XXXX XXXX XXXX is reporting this information. The reporting of excluded information pursuant to 15 USC 1681 a ( d ) ( 2 ) ( A ) ( i ) on a consumer report is a clear violation of Metro2 compliance. Provide me with the Metro2 compliance disclosure on reporting transactions to a consumer reporting agency. Consumer Complaint: According to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ( CFPB ) '' Anything already paid or under {$500.00} should no longer be on your credit report '' and " In addition, the CFPB told debt collectors and consumer credit reporting companies that they cant collect, furnish, or report any invalid medical debt. '' Published XX/XX/2023 https : XXXX https : XXXX This credit reporting company TransUnion has violated this directive refusing to remove medical colloctions totaling {$230.00} from my credit report. XXXX and associates XXXX {$230.00} - - - TransUnion has failed to remove this from my credit report or increase the score due to its removal. TransUnion will not provide all the information it provided to a creditor who denied me credit ( credit score ) According to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ( CFPB ) " Fair Credit Reporting ; File Disclosure '' states that .... " Additionally, there are a number of situations under the FCRA where a consumer reporting agency must provide information that is not or would not be included in a user report when providing a file disclosure under FCRA section 609 ( a ) .31 One example of such a situation is when only summarized information, such as a credit or risk score, a tenant screening score, or a recommendation is provided to users. The CFPB interprets FCRA section 609 ( a ) ( 1 ) s requirement to disclose to the consumer all information in the consumers file at the time of the request to include information that formed the basis of summarized information that a consumer reporting agency provided to a user. XXXX XXXX - https : XXXX On XXXX I requested the report containing all the information that was provided to the creditor which denied me the credit or credit at a much higher interest rate. The creditor indicated the collection account data and a lower than expected credit score as the basis of credit denial. In accordance to the interpretation of the FCRA by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ( CFPB ) this should have all the information used to form the basis of the credit decision, yet TransUnion denied me access to the credit score that was provided to the lender thereby prohibiting me to " fact check '' that the information used against me was accurate. TransUnion wanted to bill me an amount to provide access to the information that was adversely used against me and caused me financial harm. I have a subscription service provided by another credit reporting agency that quotes me the credit scores of all three major credit reporting agencies ( including TransUnion ) which was contrary to the score that the lender reported that Transunion provided to them. I used this contradictory information to inform me as to whether to attempt to get the loan as I felt I was qualified to be approved for a loan at a specific interest rate based on a good faith estimate obtained from the loan XXXX before the loan application. The pulling of credit and the subsequent credit denial harmed me and my score even further. TransUnion has caused me financial harm by... A. Refusing to remove inaccurate information that is a medical collection totaling less than {$500.00} thereby lowering my credit rating beyond the ability to obtain credit or obtain a loan at a reasonable interest rate. B. Refusing me access without fee to the information in the credit report provided to a lender that caused the denial of credit. XXXX Limiting my ability to ensure the information ( including credit score ) provided to the creditor is accurate. D. Causing further financial harm and decreased credit rating due to the loan application process that resulted in a denial. The decision to apply for credit was made based on the TransUnion score information I have sourced from a competitor 's subscription service that provided the TransUnion score and the scores of the other XXXX reporting agencies. There was a discrepancy in conflicting score information TransUnion provided to the creditor than what I sourced from the subscription service through XXXX. Had I had accurate information I would not have pursued the credit application at this time. XXXX XXXX also bears some blame and responsibility for the harm done to me by potentially providing me inaccurate score information that I have paid for.
