Consumer Complaint: I'm a consumer/natural person. I extended credit to Target for my XXXX XXXX at the customer service desk on XX/XX/22 in good faith pursuant to 15 USC 1691 ( 3 ). Target is one of my favorite stores, and I was so excited to shop for grad and dad season! It blew my mind when the associate printed a receipt that a transaction had taken place according to 15USC1602 ( l ), but I had not benefitted from it at all. As a matter of fact, she did not give me a security instrument to purchase with open-end credit, but a slip of paper that said my application required further processing. This really frustrated me because I am aware credit can only be denied a consumer in cases of insurance or employment. This transaction had nothing to do with either. My face became hot and flushed. I felt so ashamed and dejected while walking past the other people shopping with smiles and enjoying themselves. I could not figure out what I had done wrong. Target sent a communication dated XX/XX/22 with the Target logo on the envelope and the enclosed papers that confirmed adverse action was taken against me. That's illegal! Target knows, or should know, that they have violated my rights. The audacity!

Consumer Complaint: TD Bank Headquarters XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to complain about my experience and service of how fraudulent charges on my credit card were handled. On XX/XX/XXXX I received a text about a fraudulent charge on my account, I instantly called TD to inquiry about the charge. When I spoke to the agent, we reviewed charges and discovered there were multiple unauthorized charge. The charges were XXXX transactions of {$200.00} for XXXX XXXX ( Total {$400.00} ). Agent informed me that charges would be investigated. On XX/XX/XXXX I received a letter that after reviewing and investigating available information and documentation that I was responsible for the charges. After receiving the letter I called TD bank. They informed me that I could appeal the decision and that I would be contacted with a decision. In XXXX, I called to follow-up because I had not received a call back and was informed that they were still reviewing and I should be patient that the case was still being reviewed. In XXXX, I called again and I received the same response to be patient. In XXXX, after still no response from anyone from TD, I called back and was informed that they never call any customer back with a decision and that my appeal was denied and I was responsible for the charges I had never made. I asked to speak to the appeals department or someone in a higher position. The agent informed me that there was no one who could assist me because they were the highest contact I could speak to via phone in regards to the matter and I needed to contact headquarters. I also, tried reaching out to the branch and they told me that there is nothing they could do in the matter, either. As you look at my history, I have been a customer for a long time and Ive never been late on a payment. I had a {$12000.00} credit limit and I have always shown to be responsible with my accounts. I had {$50000.00} in my checking account, which has now been closed and moved to XXXX due to the service received in this matter. After being a customer for so long, I felt I deserved the respect of a phone call about this situation but nothing. So as of right now I have these charges on my account that I have never made and they are accruing finance charges on them to. Honestly if I had made the charges I would have paid them because Ive made many charges on the card and as you could see in my history I have always paid. There would be no reason for me not to pay if I had made them. I would appreciate a call back on this matter.

Consumer Complaint: I went into the TD Bank and tried to open an account. The customer service person that opens the account for customers. Told me that she could not open an account in my name because I have a Checking account in collections. I don't have any TD Bank account in collections. In anytime someone owes the TD Bank or any bank, they have you pay what you owe first and then they go ahead and open the new account. I do know that my personal information was stolen back in XX/XX/XXXX that my XXXX had in a box when she moved to XXXX. They stole all of my XXXX XXXX personal information, my XXXX and mine. Social security number, birth certificates and photos, date of birth. Old tax documents. On XX/XX/XXXX or so.. I can't remember the exact date it happened but some employees at TD Bank made stole out of my mother 's personal information and made online purchases close to {$5000.00} and my mother received a letter from TD Bank headquarters, stating that the employees has all of her personal information and were fired and arrested from TD Bank. TD Bank offered my mother extra XXXX years higher security on her TD Bank account. I believe that my personal information along with my mother 's has been compromised. In I don't have any collection accounts with TD Bank that I am aware of. Other than today when the bank employee said she will get back to me about collections on my account with TD Bank, and she didn't open the account for me. My mother 's TD Bank account was compromised in XX/XX/XXXX or so. I always thought when you owe the bank you pay right then, and they open your account. That's what they did with my mother. She paid what she owed on the same day they opened the account. I work XXXX days a week and the woman did want to open my account something is seriously wrong?

Consumer Complaint: The last complaint filed indicated they sent a letter to their agency to cease and desist, which is a lie. This company continues to harass me and filed a law suite without notifying me, and send a letter to my employer which caused me to be fired from my employer. Also, on my credit report its showing the account open and theyre reporting as if I still have an open account and possession of the vehicle. Theyre reporting to the credit bureau Im behind on my monthly payment. I do not have an agreement with TD Auto Finance & Im not behind on any payments. This car was sold per the blue book worth at auction for {$10000.00} and they didnt refund the warranty and gap insurance payments on the loan. They also applied additional credits, and did not include payments I made made prior to the repossession. Its showing I owe over {$28000.00} in which Im not going to pay because they have been paid for the car. This company has continued to harass me since XXXX, even more since XXXX ; desecrating my character and causes me to be fired from my job, and has repeatedly harassed me throughout the pandemic & currently.

On XX/XX/2022 account went overdraft by {$36.00} at XXXX but I brought back to positive balance within a few hours. According to https : XXXX I should be allow to have 24 hours to bring my balance back to positive without being charged with any fee if I didnt overdraft more than {$50.00}. I was charged {$35.00} overdraft fee for both time. Ive reached out to TD bank and they said they cant refund the fee.

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX, XXXX I purchased XXXX XXXX Door Shade for my home in Florida. I put a {$610.00} deposit on my TD Business Credit Card. I tried to get the company XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX in XXXX, Florida to install in XXXX, XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. In XX/XX/XXXX when they did not deliver on their contract and nothing was installed I contacted the cc company and started a dispute ( XX/XX/XXXX ). The " scam '' company sent an email to me saying they would not dispute the dispute and would refund the money ''. I provided this to the cc company., TD Bank XXXX Today, they denied the dispute due to the timing of the filing of the dispute. I am fully aware of the XXXX/XXXX timing guidelines. However, I was in good faith trying to resolve this with the company. I asked the Bank to " chargeback '' the deposit payment. They offered to file an appeal but nothing else. This would never happen with XXXX XXXX. XXXX values their customers and works to solve their issue. All TD did was spout timeframes for dispute filing to me. I have done my due diligence and contacted the bank several times, spoke to telephone reps as well as supervisors to no avail. Absolutely unacceptable since I have been trying to resolve following proper procedures since I exhausted every avenue to have this company XXXX XXXX XXXX deliver on their contact. I now believe this shutter company to be a " fraud ''..

Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/2022 I received three notices from TD Bank of new accounts opened in my name. I contacted TD Bank and advised them these were fraudulent. I was assured the accounts would be closed. On XX/XX/2022, I received letters that the accounts were overdrawn. I again called to make sure the accounts were closed and TD Bank assured me they would close the accounts. Today ( XX/XX/2022 ) I received another set of letters advising that the accounts were overdrawn. I refuse to call TD Bank AGAIN because it takes an inordinate amount of time to have them return my call and they apparently aren't doing anything to close the accounts. It is ridiculous how easy it is for fraudsters to open accounts and TD Bank is failing at their due diligence to ensure the accounts are legitimate.
