Consumer Complaint: In XXXX of 2019 I came down with the most severe illness I have ever had. I later found out it was covid. I was bed ridden sick for over two weeks. I was not paid during this time and therefore behind on my financials. I made payment arrangements with all creditors. When speaking with PayPal- the agent accepted my offer that I could only make {$20.00} payments until I catch up and in a couple months I could pay back on track. I kept my agreement and paid. Prior to this ordeal I had 100 % on time immaculate payment history not only with PayPal but with all my accounts. Quite some time later- I find out PayPal reported that I missed two payments. This has been hurting my score and perfect payment history. Its showing negative remarks. I disputed with the credit bureaus. PayPal claimed no inaccuracies. So I called PayPal. PayPal looked into it and apologized for the error. They investigated my history and saw where that call took place and that I in fact did establish the payment plan and paid. I have now been fighting this for two years. My credit is hurting severely over just this one issue. Please help me, as I feel cornered by this error!

She told me that even if I was to pay credit card that they could not reopen my account and that if I was interested in getting another card with them that Id have to start the process over, but I would still have access to my closed account with the balance {$460.00} to pay off. I called XXXX XXXX and filed a dispute.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I purchased a mattress from XXXX XXXX order # XXXX online using my Syncrony/Paypal account XXXX On or near XX/XX/XXXX, the mattress was delivered and refused by me and cancelled the order due to unforeseen circumstances. The merchant gladly accept the return and full refund as their policy stated. Paypal entered the refund on my account statement and never adjusted the outstanding balance on my Paypal account. I have disputed this with XXXX, they said they have been trying to submit a refund but Paypal kept rejecting it. I spoke with the team leader division and Paypal. Paypal states the purchase is not cover under their buyer protection. After several disputes, Now Paypal says I still owe the outstanding balance of XXXX and charged an EXCESSIVE amount of fees and finance charges which I do not owe. They are in direct FTC and CFPB violation of not accepting and crediting a refund from a merchant for a returned item. Here is a breakdown of the statements I received. XX/XX/XXXX XXXX {$1100.00}. XX/XX/XXXX XXXX {$1100.00}. XX/XX/XXXX XXXX {$1100.00}. XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX Refund {$1100.00} ( same day ) my last payment of {$220.00} was made on XX/XX/XXXX and I closed my account with a fraudulent balance of {$1100.00}, which I do not owe. XXXX XXXX have been calling me every other day and so often calling sometimes 3 times a day and sometimes as frequent as twice a day. So they call from so many different numbers and even has tried calling from my hometown area code in hopes that i will answer because it's a local number. Issue: Managing an account
Subissue: Funds not handled or disbursed as instructed
Consumer Complaint: We went to transfer {$25000.00} on Wednesday, XX/XX/XXXX from Synchrony Bank to another account. We linked the bank accounts, confirmed they were connected, and initiated an external transfer as noted on their website. Unfortunately, no where on their website do they make clear that I have to be the account owner for an ACH transfer ( I am now aware of this, have gotten used to easy clearing houses through programs like XXXX etc. ). The holding period for this cash to return is longer than what's feasible to make a purchase, and now the entire process is in jeopardy because Synchrony has no alternative solution. Synchrony points to page 5 of their Terms and Conditions as an excuse for not making this clear anywhere on their website, even though there's an incredible concise explanation of how everything else works on their transfer portal. We signed up for this account for the specific reason that it would be easy to use online, and honestly have had nothing but problems getting money out of Synchrony when we need it.
