Subissue: Didn't receive advertised or promotional terms
Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX advertises a credit card that will give a XXXX percent discount on the first purchase. I applied for the card and it was awarded to me on XX/XX/2022. The card is issued by Synchrony Bank. I used the card for an on line purchase of a miter saw on XX/XX/2022. Their on line process does not allow for the XXXX percent discount to be awarded at that time, so I called both XXXX XXXX and Synchrony Bank to request my XXXX percent discount. I have repeatedly spoken with customer service reps about the issue, and on XX/XX/2022, I learned that XXXX XXXX has denied my request ( which amounts to about {$32.00} ). I believe that XXXX XXXX and Synchrony Bank are misleading customers to apply for a credit card under false pretenses.
