Consumer Complaint: I have a Lowes charge card. The credit is provided by Synchrony. I was notified by email today that they will start charging customers {$1.00} to receive a paper copy of their monthly bill. This seems ridicules. We are going to be charged an additional fee to see what we owe. there are lots of people who prefer to receive a paper bill or don't trust/use online access. what if our emails are hacked or our email providers incorrectly block the email. we could inadvertently miss a payment. This new fee is wrong!

Consumer Complaint: I had purchased a GAP Store Credit card due to some promotion. However, I was not communicated properly for the balance ( which I had assumed that I had paid off ) and was reported late payments multiple times by the same vendor without proper communication. When I had finally checked the XXXXredit score and noticed the late payment. I had immediately paid off and closed the card. However, it was very late then. The store did not do a proper job in communicating the late payment and had reported it to the credit bureau without my knowledge. This has badly affected my credit score and it does not go away even after 4 years. I would like to request to remove my late payment from my credit report as soon as possible.

Consumer Complaint: Care Credit, Synchrony Bank Approved me for {$9200.00}. I Used the card for dental treatment in the amount of {$9200.00}. Made first payment of {$250.00} on XX/XX/2021. I have paid every month for the past XXXX months. I have never been late with a payment. they have chosen not to post my payment a day late however I have never gone past the due date of the XXXX of the month. My payment is now {$350.00} and my balance, from what I can tell, is now {$9300.00} and indicates that I am over the limit. Since I can not get any information from Synchrony Bank I estimate that I have paid them {$8700.00} dollars. Not a single penny has been applied toward the balance.. This was set up for payment over XXXX years. If the payment continues at the current rate I will have paid approximately {$24000.00}. This is more than 100 % interest.

'' I clicked the " Apply '' button in the email. I was approved for the credit card on XX/XX/2023. I spent more than {$500.00} dollar within the 90 days opening the account. But so far I haven't received the promised {$150.00} cashback bonus. I called their service department and told them the issue. I also showed them a screenshot of the advertising email they sent me. But their staff told me that they were not aware of such a promotion.

Consumer Complaint: I recently had a dispute opened with Synchrony Bank regarding a transaction for {$740.00} for services that were not described and rendered. However, despite all of my efforts and providing them with more than enough evidence this world 's worst bank was not able to resolve or fight the dispute with the merchant. Now they have posted the charge back in my account as I owe the balance, when they opened the dispute, they also took away the 2 % reward I got with the transaction. A XX/XX/2023 back I called Synchrony Bank and spoke with the Manager named : XXXX and he told me that he has to submit the ticket to back office and I should be getting those rewards back within XXXX billing cycle. However today i.e. XX/XX/2023, I received a letter saying that Synchrony Financial is unable to redeem rewards points and I have to go to online and click redeem rewards points. Now this clearly shows how intelligent and awake their team is and No wonder why they didn't fight the dispute because they did not want to do any work. My inquiry was very simple If they want me to pay the balance for that transaction based on the credit card rewards term, they should also post back the 2 % rewards that they took away and they are telling me that how to redeem rewards, seriously? I called back again today XX/XX/2023 and spoke with another manager : XXXX and informed him the same after wasting another XXXX hours on the phone he sang same song that he has submitted the ticket and I will be getting the rewards in XXXX billing cycle. I also requested a call back from him Manager or direct supervisor and he told me that it is not guaranteed. At this point I am simply amazed how the XXXX this bank still exists and ruin the customers life every day.

Consumer Complaint: I am a credit card holder from this credit card company called synchrony and I have been making my minimum due payment as usual before my due date, on this month of XXXX my minimum due date is set to be XXXX so as the other months as well, I initiated a loan payment of {$210.00} from my chase account on the XXXX XXXX XXXX which posted on the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and the transaction was marked as completed, which reflected in my chase account balance as debited. Synchrony bank never contacted me about insufficient funds in my account or payment declined or what so ever since this payment posted on the XXXX XXXX XXXX On the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX morning I checked my chase account to realize that my account was negative {$210.00} so I contacted XXXX XXXX to as what the reason was, XXXXXXXX XXXX told me that Synchrony Bank made XXXX attempt of withdrawal on my account, the first one was on the XXXX XX/XX/2023 but declined due to insufficient funds and the the second one was on the XXXX of XXXX which brought my account to negative {$210.00}. I contacted synchrony bank on this said date XXXX XXXX to cross check my statement with them and they told me that everything was okay on my records with them, that my payment went through on the XXXX of XXXX and the transaction was marked as completed. I called XXXXXXXX XXXX to notify them and even connected these XXXX banks on a conference call but synchrony bank lost communication so I followed up with XXXXXXXX XXXX letting them know the outcome of the confirmation I got from synchrony bank. To my greatest surprise I am just get a message from synchrony bank that I am owing and past over due, I have attached a copy of this payments proof to this message. Synchrony bank is not competent to be called a bank with all of these obvious discrepancies, before I made a report on XXXXXXXX XXXX all these was not happening, but after a I made my report on XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXhese started happening. How on earth can a transaction initiated on the XXXX XX/XX/2023 and posted on the XXXX of XX/XX/2023 is now declining without prior notice of all these failed transaction conducted by synchrony bank as XXXXXXXX XXXX is claiming, its a shame this is happening from a bank that says they are credible institution?
