Consumer Complaint: I am not new to credit cards or 0 % interest timeframes. I know that, in the last few years, laws have changed to avoid cheating customers. My accounts have clearly listed when my 0 % would expire, warning me when it would be the next statement. Synchrony did not do that on my home account. I knew the 0 % was expiring on XX/XX/XXXX. There was {$100.00} left on my XXXX statement. I paid {$50.00} and planned on paying the other {$50.00} in XXXX statement. Well, they billed me ON XX/XX/XXXX, charging {$120.00} ( 12 months ) of interest before I could even see and pay it. It was first thing in the morning XX/XX/30! Ive tried talking to them multiple times and they say thats how they do it. I dont believe this is a fair legal practice. No other credit card had done anything like this!

Consumer Complaint: According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act 15 USC 1681 section 602 a states " There is a need to insure that consumer reporting agencies exercise their grave responsibilities with fairness, impartiality, and a respect for the consumers right to privacy. '' XXXX, XXXX and XXXX are consumer reporting agencies and I am the Consumer. I have the right to make sure my private information isn't shared which is backed by 15 USC 6801 which states '' It is the policy of the Congress that each financial institution has an affirmative and continuing obligation to respect the privacy of its customers and to protect the security and confidentiality of those customers nonpublic personal information. '' XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX, Syncrony is a financial institution by definition under that title. 15 USC 1681 section 604 a section 2 states that " In general Subject to subsection ( c ), any consumer reporting agency may furnish a consumer report under the following circumstances and no other : in accordance with the written instructions of the consumer to whom it relates. '' XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX and Sycrony Bank the financial institution and the Consumer reporting agencies XXXX, XXXX and XXXX do not have my consent to furnish this information and they surely do not have my written consent. Any and all consent to XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX and Sycrony Bank whether it be verbal, non-verbal, written, implied or otherwise is revoked. 15 USC 6802 ( b ) ( c ) states that " A financial institution may not disclose nonpublic personal information to a nonaffiliated third party unless the consumer is given an explanation of how the consumer can exercise that nondisclosure option. '' XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX and Sycrony Bank Never informed me of my right to exercise my nondisclosure option. Not only that 15 USC 1681C ( a ) ( 5 ) states '' Except as authorized under subsection ( b ), no consumer reporting agency may make any consumer report containing any of the following items of information Any other adverse item of information, other than records of convictions of crimes which antedates the report by more than seven years. '' This account is an adverse item they are reporting again without my permission which is against the law. 15 U.S. Code 1681s2 ( A ) ( 1 ) A states " A person shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate. 15 U.S. Code 1681e states '' Every consumer reporting agency shall maintain reasonable procedures designed to avoid violations of section 1681c of this title and to limit the furnishing of consumer reports to the purposes listed under section 1681b of this title. XXXX XXXX and XXXX are not maintaining reasonable procedures. Also 12 CFR 1016.7 states that " A consumer may exercise the right to opt out at any time. '' I am opting out of your reporting services.

Consumer Complaint: -signed an agreement with Synchrony Bank to finance a sewer repair with XXXX XXXX on my phone ; truth be known the XXXX rep pressed the button for me. -NEVER RECEIVED AND COMPANY REFUSES TO GIVE ME A COPY OF THAT AGREEMENT; they say XXXX XXXX should supply that, but XXXX claims they don't have a copy and have tried to get it from the Bank but they won't even speak to them - I want to see in writing what the interest rate is because they have the regular rate and a promotional rate which is what I received supposedly but have nothing to prove that I did. They claim it is on my statement. Where? - I made a mistake when I sent the first payment in, didn't get the full account number on the check, corrected it as soon as I was notified and paid them the right amount. There was supposed to have been no penalty for this error because of the timeliness of the correction. -My bank account shows that I have paid them the correct amount each month since I took out this loan -they say I owe {$35.00} interest. Interest for what???? I can't get them to tell me. Maybe I do, but I don't know what for and I will not pay it until I am told what it is for -I believe they have made a mistake and won't correct it -I called and spoke with XXXX today , then XXXX, then asked to speak to the supervisor. They kept me on the line so long that my phone overheated. So I had to disconnect. -Broken record : you owe {$35.00}, pay it by XX/XX/XXXX even tho I sent in my payment for XXXX and they didn't notify me of the {$35.00} til XXXX days ago! And there was no explanation so naturally I ask why. -They don't like it that I have my bank send the payment each month. They have not earned my trust. They can keep hounding me about my payment method, but it will not change until they explain themselves. I am an XXXX XXXX XXXX widow living on a fixed income. I watch my money. -This is a HUGE bank that really doesn't want you to speak to anyone. It is almost impossible to talk to a person and of all the phone calls I have made to them, I have only spoken to XXXX person that was civil, helpful and worked to resolve my problem or answer my question.

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX synchrony bank- XXXX XXXX XXXX- closed my account. I had never been late, nor did I miss a payment- for them to just close my account- with a balance remaining. I had called, and a representative told me that they closed the account due to high balances on my credit. I had explained that if they had looked at my report- they will see that I have NEVER been late, or missed a payment! Not only did they close my account- they stopped me from having access through the app! I asked why would you stop me from accessing the app, when I make my payments through there, and the rep stated I needed to go directly to the website. But why?! How can they treat paying customers like this?!

Consumer Complaint: After reviewing my credit report, I noticed I have 1 late payment being reported by SYNCB/AMAZON . I notice the late payment was reported in XX/XX/2023. Please note I have excellent payment history with is company and has never been late. From my history of never being late, this is an oversight on behalf of the client. Please note this report is a violation of my consumer rights. Please understand as a consumer my rights were violated by the reporting of these late payments. I would like these late payments to be removed and cleared from my credit profile. 15 U.S. Code 1666b - Timing of payments ( a ) Time to Make Payments A creditor may not treat a payment on a credit card account under an open end consumer credit plan as late for any purpose, unless the creditor has adopted reasonable procedures designed to ensure that each periodic statement including the information required by section 1637 ( b ) of this title is mailed or delivered to the consumer not later than 21 days before the payment due date.

Consumer Complaint: I have 2 defered payment interest free promotional charges from Synchrony Bank I had been making the reqired monthly payments The XX/XX/2022 statement showed a " New Purchase ' '' of {$2300.00} which did not make I called and was advised it was an allocaion error and would be resolved I called every month and spoke to a different person each time They assured me it would be resolved I decided to pay off the balances on each purchase hoping it would fix it ] I receivedd a letter on XX/XX/XXXX saying my balance was {$0.00} My XXXX statement showed a new balance of {$780.00} Why? I paid up in full I have spoken to customer service, collections, payments processing and fraud departments. I can never ge a single person to work with, they say they can not call me back ( they only take incoming calls ) and after an hour on the ph0ne I get cut off I have a record of all the people I have spoken to over the last yesr Now they say i owe over {$800.00} and they reported me as delinquent and dropped my credit score 110 points

I tried to use a reward certificate ( # XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ), which I received with XX/XX/2023 bill, which I paid all already, along with another reward certificate received by an email from your company. However, I could not use this certificate ending XXXX at the casher. And this casher advised me to call your company to make it usable. However, I used the chat system of your company website synchrony.com. I tried to get an answer from this chat assistant, XXXX ; however, before I would get the satisfying answer, the chat was terminated. You can see the process of chat from the enclosed printout. I believe strongly I have not used my gift certificate ending XXXX, since I have this certificate with me. And I always give the certificates to the cashers ; therefore, this certificate with me must be usable. What I want to request you is to make this certificate usable. If not, would you give me why I can not use it, even though I have this certificate with me. Or maybe you might have printed twice ; then you need to explain why you printed out the certificates with same number and give the customers the disappointed feeling not to be able to have the feeling of satisfaction by getting some products free by the reward. Consumer Complaint: I applied for an Amazon store credit card and was denied ( not approved ). I contacted amazon for the return of my application and was referred to the issuing bank synch bank and they denied me return of both of my applications as they forced me to apply a second time claiming no prior application was submitted. As i spoke to the account manager XXXX # XXXX she had access to both applications, but said i was approved for a secured card. I explained that per Title 15 1611 it was not legal to deny me my own credit and she disagreed stating if i sent money i could access my own credit. I explained that per UCC title 42 sec 408 no lawful money existed and it was unlawful to ask for my ss number and to not return my property since i was receiving no benefit. per title 15 1602 the unauthorized accessing of my credit report with no benefit returned would be returned in adverse action she could only provide me with an address but no email or phone number to discuss this further. I responded that the securitization of this instrument would be responded to in court as I discussed this with the Amazon representatives as well. I believe this is theft and I am disappointed it couldnt be met in a manner that was sufficient to both parties.
