Consumer Complaint: I was in XXXX XXXX California for a vacation with my husband and decided to go to the XXXX XXXX fair. There was a pop up stand that was selling purple mattresses, we have been wanting one for a while and decided to check out the stand. The sales guy named XXXX with Mattress Firm trapped us on just looking to see what we would be approved for with credit to purchase one of these mattresses. Once he saw how much we were approved for he called another sales man named XXXX over to try and get more approval through another lender. This took forever and they kept going with the purchase although me and my husband werent completely sure we wanted to purchase through them as they were giving us sketchy vibes. After they got the sale almost finished, it wasnt even the bed we wanted and the sales guys didnt want to go back and change or cancel all the work they just decided to do themselves. This all took place on XX/XX/2022. After a couple days with no email confirmation of the sale, I really started to feel uncomfortable with the purchase they made me do and I decided to reach out to them to at least change the bed to the one we actually wanted. XXXX said to text him the changes I want and XXXX fix it. This never happened. It took over a month to even get a delivery date from some other company and they brought the wrong bed to our home and we explained to them the issue we were having. All they said was that they can say we refused the purchase and Ill have to go through mattress firm to get the correct bed. Throughout this entire process I was trying to contact mattress firm multiple times to confirm the changes of the bed we wanted and all they have is an online service that doesnt help you. There is no way to report mattress firm and I am now being charged for a bed that I never received. I tried contacting the salesman and they both have not responded to me. This company or at least the fair should be shut down for fraud.

Consumer Complaint: Hi Old Navy CC ; SynCB ; I'm little confused that you even allowed to mark me late on XXXX & XX/XX/2021 for 30 days last during XXXX. I was actually shocked today when i reviewed my credit report from all major credit bureaus and noticed those late payments as mentioned. I am not sure how this happened, but I believe that i made the payment as required on the dates stated and noticed that you took it from my bank account when i received my statements. My only other thoughts are that my monthly statements did not get to me on time.

Consumer Complaint: I'm not too sure what will come of this but a friend recommended I give it a shot. I don't have exact dates at this point in time but I'd be happy to provide those in a follow-up, or just resubmit the entire thing if I need to. My relationship with Synchrony bank started back in 2019, I had applied for a line of credit for XXXX store financing and was approved. They did not, however, actually create a log in for me to make my payments, they told me that I'd receive login credentials in the postal mail. As a result of this, I didn't actually receive any credentials in the mail for over 90 days. During that time synchrony was charging me late fees unknown to me at the time because I did not have access to see or pay my bill. It was eventually discovered that they didn't even send the credentials in the first place and a customer service representative had to generate them for me. They were kind enough to remove the late fees due to the failure on their part, they did not fix the impact this had on my credit score. Now they have damaged my credit score once again. Apparently it is their policy to terminate my account after 2 failed payments. The first of which was over a year ago, the second was just a few days ago. Both of these were rectified the second I was notified of a failed payment, and records show payments for them posted the following days. I understand policy, I understand that I may have signed something that notified me of this policy, and I understand that they must follow said policy if it does exist. What I do not understand is how a financial institution as big as synchrony is allowed to play these games with people 's credit score and do nothing to correct their mistakes. There are countless other issues I've had with them in regards to Paypal credit as well, they closed that account in a similar fashion, tanking my credit score, and many instances of unjustified late fees that they admitted were mistakes. Maybe the most recent incident is on me, but considering what they did when I first opened the account, and all the issues I've had with them on my old PayPal account, I am very frustrated that I now have to recover from yet another negative mark against me from this company.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX I settled my TJX Rewards MasterCard Account with XXXX XXXX, XXXX. The Balance at the time was {$6400.00} and we settled at {$2500.00} over XXXX monthly payments of {$100.00}. We sent payments monthly for XXXX, XXXX, XXXX and XXXX of XXXX and then in XX/XX/2022 we received noticed that XXXX XXXX could no longer honor the settlement because they no longer had it in their office. This obviously made no sense to me because we had an arrangement in place that was taken care of and then out of no where it's no longer in place? That is incredibly unfair! I tried reaching out to XXXX XXXX but they told me they could not do anything and that it was Synchrony Bank 's decision to " re-call '' the account.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX - present I called XX/XX/XXXX to inquire about XXXX benefits on this card after realizing my interest rate and becoming aware I was entitled to benefits as an XXXX XXXX spouse. I spent over an hour today with Synchrony Bank ( Amazon Store Card ) to follow up on the request that my XXXX Benefits be applied retroactively as prescribed by law. They gave me two incorrect phone numbers- and eventually told me that there is no one to speak with regarding the issue. In the last year of statements alone, interest above the stipulated cap is {$910.00} which needs to be refunded to my account balance. I have requested historical statements so I can calculate the amount of interest that needs to be credited back to my account. This is disappointing that one of the largest retail credit issuers for store based cards has no transparency or process. Other creditors ( XXXX and XXXX ) have handled this request in the matter of minutes.
