Consumer Complaint: I have an account with Syncrony bank that is connected to my Amazon account. They issue credit for purchases on Amazon.com I filed a dispute with them regarding a broken product that I had recieved and ended up loosing the dispute. They had pre credited my account for the amount disputed. I ended up loosing my dispute, and they Re-instated the charge back twice. I have attached the statement in which is shows the Re-instatment twice. Once on XX/XX/2022, For the amount of XXXX under " Amazon XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX and once on XX/XX/2022, for the same amount of XXXX under " XXXX '' as the description. I have called them multiple times, spoke to multiple people. It has been months of fighting this battle. I have collected multiple extension numbers and names, and all of them agree that it is a double charge. Once they send it to their billing department that is based in another country, that is where the disconnect happens. Billing sends me the same automated message everytime stating that they don't see a duplicate charge. I am stuck on what to do. A friend in law pointed me here and told me to file a report in hopes to get their attention on a higher level. I genuinely hope someone can help me as this is not a small amount. Thank you so much.

Consumer Complaint: I had an account with Synchrony Bank for a Care Credit and a Discount Tire Car Care account. I reviewed my credit report on XX/XX/2022 and Synchrony closed my Care Credit and Discount Tire account, stating I filed a bankruptcy. I did not file a bankruptcy. When I contacted them to find out where they are getting this information from, I was hung up on. They did not give me any recourse to fix this error and this is damaging my credit worthiness. I have a relative in my same household who filed, but he has a completely different social security number, so I am unsure how they are confusing this with me. My SSN ends in XXXX ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) and the relative who filed for bankruptcy and the bankruptcy paperwork shows the last 4 of the social as XXXX ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ). Two separate people. They need to fix this.

This is fraud and a violation, in pursuant to 15 USC 1681s-2, a person shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer reporting agency if the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate. I demand that inquiries are immediately removed upon receiving this complaint. If they are not removed within 14 days I will take further legal action.

As per 15 USC 6827 ( 3 ) The term document means any information in any form. The provisions of 15 USC 6801 ( A ) require financial institutions to notify consumers of their information sharing practices and provide for a right to opt out of certain sharing. In the above -mentioned Consumer Credit Transaction without giving me the opportunity to opt-out, your institution, your institution furnished my nonpublic personal information to nonaffiliated third parties ( XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX According to 15 USC 6809 ( 4 ) ( a ) The term nonpublic personal information means personally identifiable financial information 01 Provided by a consumer to a financial institution 02 Resulting from any transaction with the consumer or any service performed for the consumer ; or 03 Otherwise obtained by a financial institution Further, pursuant to 15 USC 6809 ( 5 ) the term nonaffiliated third party means any entity that is not an affiliate of, or related by common ownership or affiliated by corporate control with, the financial institution, but does not include a joint employee of such institution. Therefore, as per literal interpretation, the organization named XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX are nonaffiliated third parties and your institution has violated the provisions of 15 USC 6802. In case your company admits that the company named XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX is affiliated, it has still violated the provisions of FCRA ( Fair Credit Reporting Act ). PuUnder5 USC 1681a ( d ) ( 2 ) ( a ) ( ii ), the consumer report will not include any information communicated among persons related by common ownership or affiliated by corporate control. However, when I attempted to enter the requested information, I received an error message stating that there was no record that matched my information. Thus, I replied to the email from Synchrony to this effect, and I also requested that this account be closed or the application be cancelled or withdrawn and the account cancelled in my name. I have attached the email I sent. I want this account closed if an account was opened in my name immediately.

Consumer Complaint: I have requested verification of a negative item on my credit report. If I understand the Fair Credit Reporting Act correctly, you are required to follow reasonable procedures to assure maximum possible accuracy of the information on my credit report. But they responded XX/XX/2022 asking for more information about my dispute. I understand that The Fair Credit Billing Act requires creditors to bill correctly, that each statement be sent to the correct address, that you not ignore change of address requests, and that you facilitate disputed charges in a manner prescribed by law. The Act also stipulates that you provide lawfully requested information concerning my account upon request and in a timely manner. For that reason, I request that you please forward a notarized statement on your letterhead which will attest to your compliance to the FCBA generally and to my account specifically throughout the period I have been a customer. If any of that information is inaccurate or can not be verified, then the entire item is unverifiable.

Consumer Complaint: Hello, forgive my writting but english is my second language. I purchase in vacation arts with Park West Gallery. I have received the arts and everything but I still haven't managed to pay the product. First of all, when I try to access the website to pay it didn't work. It took a month before I could get on the website of the bank ( SYNCHRONY BANK ). After accessing the website, I tried to pay right away the arts because they were already charging me interrest when the seller said I wouldnt have to make any payment until 6 month of receiving the arts. I bought the arts on XX/XX/2022. When I was on the synchrony website to pay the credit bill. It didn't work. I contacted clientel services and I ask them for others ways to pay. I offered to pay directly from my bank, with another credit card or with XXXX. They refused. The problem with my bank is that I'm XXXX and I have a XXXX bank accompt and they do not accept XXXX bank accompt for payment. This is really weird. I ask to the person I was talking to what can I do to make the payment? And they responded that I have to wait until they figure it out. It has been 2 month already. I took picture of the conversation that the person said they will get back to me shortly which he never did. I still receive bill for the payment and interrest keep increasing. I ask them to pay the full ammount right now to not have any interrest but they still don't try to help me.
