Consumer Complaint: This is a general issue that I notice with most if not all consumer credit card statements. I have various multiple credit cards where I shop and I have them only to use the rewards and discounts I receive. I pay them off in full when due. The problem is the statements include no detail as to my purchases. Often there is as much as a month or more between purchase date and statement receipt. While I receive numerous pages of useless information and advertising with the statement, other than the date of purchase, and location, I receive no description of the products purchased. I really can't remember oftentimes specifically WHAT I purchased. Certainly the barcodes contain this information and it shouldn't be that difficult to include it. I often wonder if I'm paying for what I actually purchased. Can you help?
