Consumer Complaint: i notice syncbXXXX reporting information on my credit report without my knowledge which is a violation of TILA, 15 USC 6802b ( 1 ) In general A financial institution may not disclose nonpublic personal information to a nonaffiliated third party unless ( A ) such financial institution clearly and conspicuously discloses to the consumer, in writing or in electronic form or other form permitted by the regulations prescribed under section 6804 of this title, that such information may be disclosed to such third party ; ( B ) the consumer is given the opportunity, before the time that such information is initially disclosed, to direct that such information not be disclosed to such third party ; and ( C ) the consumer is given an explanation of how the consumer can exercise that nondisclosure option. Also, 15 USC 1666b in which i never received anything, especially authenticated 21 days before it was due. I am requesting that this account be deleted ASAP from my credit report

Consumer Complaint: Synchrony Bank intentionally uses misleading wording on their online auto-pay to trick consumers into their pay in full option, enabling increased interest/investment profit for their XXXXwo week " standard '' reimbursement period ( 10 business day ). While all Synchrony statements are " monthly statements, '' they use the term " statement balance '' in exchange for " pay in full. '' As the bulk of their business model is built around retail financing for " 0 % interest for X months '' promotions, in which the monthly " statement balance '' should be the total account balance divided by the number of months financed, the " statement balance '' option should only deduct this amount as consumers expect that their options are to pay the monthly statement balance to pay the account off within the 0 % interest period, to pay more than the statement balance to pay the account off early, or pay less than the statement balance at the risk of paying interest. However, in an effort to fabricate additional capital at the expense of the consumers, they have created their own nomenclature to promote errant registration to forego the agreed to 0 % interest period in exchange for their " pay in full '' interest income scheme. I had signed up for 0 % interest for 24 months promotion through XXXX XXXX, and then when I set up my online auto-pay through the Synchrony website, selecting to pay the monthly statement balance, they withdrew the full loan amount from my checking account, incurring an overdraft, and then said that they could not reverse the charge but would send me a check in 10 business days. I spoke to mulitiple people with customer service, and was instructed that they were unwilling to reverse the charge immediately and would only send out a check. Using this scheme, the company is able to trick consumers and hold their money for additional interest/investment income.

Consumer Complaint: I am a working woman who was in the process to getting approval for a home loan for first time homebuyer which is a new townhouse in construction. At the time my credit score was XXXX and I was approved by the builder for the townhome. During that process I had paid most of my bills accept one which was through PAYPAL/ My Synchrony Bank which is for {$120.00}. I was alerted by the Financial Mortgage Lender regarding this which I paid the whole amount on XX/XX/XXXX. My credit score went down XXXX points. When I paid off the account my credit score went back up to XXXX points. I was asked by my lender at the time if I can request a letter from PAYPAL/ My Synchrony Bank if they can remove the " late account " off my credit report. This would require them to request the three credit bureaus : XXXX, XXXX and XXXX to do this. I received a letter regarding the balance being at {$0.00}, but they would not remove this late account off my credit report to ensure that the account was paid off. This have made it difficult for me to go through the home mortgage process. I have had this same experience with an electrical company which I paid off my account and the company it not remove the late payment off of my record. I need assistance in how to remove closed accounts or paid off account out of the three credit bureaus. I also have my credit score rise back up to XXXX, XXXX and XXXX. Attached are my letter which I ask the PAYPALto remove the late entry. The other letters attached are the response from PAYPAL.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/year> I applied for and was approved for Amazon store card but according to 6 synchrony bank Amazon lawyer customer service XXXX XXXX and no one could explain how I applied for credit and allegedly denied but was approved for a debit card in which requires funding the bank is breach for non proformance as they were give value an by law must return the same or the undertaking is void from the inception bedcaise synchrony bank never gave anything of valuable consideration transferred around for two hours for every point of contact held a different deceptive tactic as times chuckling anticipating me to release the call and accept the fraud by agreeing to a new offer to offset the the damages for the failure to offer equal credit opportunities basing decisions off of a machine using ambiguous banter with words like you we me they but have no terms to reference these titles and their applicability as no one has actually denied me because synchrony bank only exist On paper and no one could provide me with a a liable party who cant support the denial saying letters will come 7-10 days from Now saying Im approved for debit when I applied for credit and can not make sense of the buffoonery if Im denied Im denied its no denial if Im extending the credit and Im the account owner id I wanted to apply for a debit card I could go to any corner store to get one and the whole 2-3 hour phone call the agents literally sitting lying to my face getting tangled in their own webs two hours of still not knowing who denied me and why and by what authority as I provided synchrony with an asset on their books with all my identification non public private information and is not denying me trying to force involuntarily servitude by way of a secure card that is what was applied but forced upon as a new offer to contract as they commit fraud and I have 6 agents on one call all showing how disgusting synchrony bank an its practices how they train their XXXX keyboard keepers as they swindle the uninformed forcing me to try an give up federal reserve notes while holding my credits hostage saying synchrony bank wont give me the card never actually denying just using fraudulent conveyance of language and bullying customers off the phone with clear discriminatory tactics by unauthorized use of your social security account fraudulently furnishing that they have gave you business but holding the account hostage passing it off as a fake denial and no one to be held accountable unless you file complaints and administrative processes if the county is back by the full faith and credit of the people how is there good credit as credit or even then idea that one person deserve to live better than the next but will say thats not discrimination it its clear if everything is backed by the people how can one be denied is not everyt financial institution insolvent? Is there a lawful way to pay as XXXX XXXX and the other XXXX agents clearly believe that there is but when asked how they have no clue but this is a valid offer of consideration that they offer to their customers and when debit and credit dont mix so how did my consumer credit application turn into a debit that needs funding because of willful Negligence and deceptive practices to unjustly enrich synchrony while forcing people to go slave and bring back federal reserve notes which is illegal so how can you try to force me in to involuntary servitude is slavery still in existence? Because no where in my in life have I ever been approved and denied to a choice of the financial institution whos now in possession of an asset of mine being synchrony bank has not performed as the Equal credit opportunity acts states : This Act ( Title VII of the Consumer Credit Protection Act ) prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, marital status, age, receipt of public assistance, or good faith exercise of any rights under the Consumer Credit Protection Act. The Act also requires creditors to provide applicants, upon request, with the reasons underlying decisions to deny credit. The Dodd-Frank Act added, among other things, a requirement that creditors provide to applicants a copy of all appraisals and other written valuations used in connection with the applicants application for first lien loans secured by a dwelling. So again is credit not MY RIGHT? As synchrony bank seems to be attempting to monopolize off of human rights violations as I am a decedent of a XXXX XXXX XXXX veteran from XXXX as an indigenous inhabitant of this land my status and identify documents will be attached Im hoping synchrony bank just had on a bad shift who just didnt understand what they were looking at but RIGHTS ARENT PRIVILEGES THEY ARE DIRECTLY FROM THE CREATOR NOT SYNCHRONY BANK. IS synchrony banks cfo ceo or any of the directors be willing to submit an affidavit signed and sworn by penalty of perjury that Im not credit worthy?

Consumer Complaint: Complaint filed Tuesday XX/XX/XXXX @ XXXX EST When I opened my Citgo Rewards Card ( serviced by Synchrony Bank ), I requested Paper Statements. I received my first paper statement which covered transactions for the period of XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX and had a payment due date of XX/XX/XXXX. I made my {$180.00} payment on time. Per their normal practice, they switched my statement delivery to electronic, without my consent. Since I did not have an online account to receive such statements, I never received the next statement for the period of XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX with a due date of XX/XX/XXXX. I called Synchrony bank on XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, and XX/XX/XXXX for a copy of the Statement for the period of XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX with a due date of XX/XX/XXXX and they say their system is Not able to retrieve that statement, because it does not even appear in their system. I was afraid that my credit would be harmed by a late payment, so I asked for their payment mailing address and what the current balance on the account was. I was told my current balance was {$220.00} which I am not able to substantiate or reconcile with my receipts, but mailed that amount to Synchrony anyway. Please order Synchrony Bank to provide me with the missing statement. Also direct them to stop switching Customers automatically over to the electronic statements after the first statement is printed, which I was told by a representative at Synchrony Bank is their normal practice.

I've disputed this account several times and requested that they remove the account in accordance with Fair Reporting Act codes. Synchrony had the nerve to delete the credit account but leave the inquiry on my consumer report after already admitting fault for the unidentifiable account. The inquiry is still showing after the account was remove due to identity theft. This has cause GREAT HARM and I am currently under Duress.

The changes include information about the Paper Statement Fee : " We are adding a {$1.00} monthly Paper Statement Fee to your account. We will charge this fee as described below... We will charge a {$1.00} monthly Paper Statement Fee to your account. We will charge this fee in any billing cycle in which your balance is greater than {$2.00} and you are sent a monthly billing statement in paper form, even if you also are provided it in electronic form. You can avoid the fee each billing cycle you are provided your monthly billing statement only in electronic form [ sic ]. ... Is such a fee compliant with US rules and regulations governing credit cards? I worry this sets precedent with other credit cards including major credit cards.

Consumer Complaint: I was denied a line of credit because of a low XXXX score. I contacted paynet who told me they would send me credit report out. After reviewing the report there was an account that was opened up from Synchrony Bank, " XXXX XXXX XXXX '' that I had not opened up. After I contacted Synchrony bank they said that there was a business card opened in my business name ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) with me listed as the XXXX. After disputing the account with them they said that the dispute had been resolved in my favor and the account was fraudulent. After trying to contact the XXXX XXXX XXXX department and XXXX we kept getting the run around in regards to when the account would be deleted. So I called Synchrony bank back who told me there was also an account that had been opened before the previously reported account ( which didn't make any sense to me ) but we disputed that account also. After being told that it was also resolved and would be removed i am now being told that its still under investigation. I feel like I am recieving the run around and meanwhile being subject to damages being denied credit. I would like these fraudulent accounts from Synchrony Bank to be removed from my XXXX report.
