Consumer Complaint: This is an old loan for 2016 with XXXX that apparently has been transferred to synchrony for some reason its reporting like a new loan again on my credit report. Every address or phone number showing on this report is invalid or disconnected. When you try to call Synchrony bank separately and explain the issue, they either tell you they don't know what you're talking about, or they transfer you to a department that just disconnects your call. I have tried disputing this with the credit bureaus for the fact that it is 7 years old and reporting like new debt and the fact that I have tried every avenue available to me to contact them and settle this and can not reach anyone the number listed on the credit file is invalid and disconnected.

Consumer Complaint: Synchrony Banks own website is still not correct. I did exactly what Synchrony Banks website says to do to make a payment. Synchrony Bank negligently mishandled my previous XXXX XXXX XXXX Cashier 's Check and lost it. Synchrony Banks Representative answered previous complaint providing me with new address to mail my payment. I want to be clear. Where do I mail my replacement payment? I don't want a repeat of the last 90 days of Synchrony Banks negligence in mishandling my previous payment. Also Synchrony Bank did not refund me enough money to cover fees to stop payment of XXXX XXXX XXXX Cashier 's Check that Synchrony Bank negligently mishandled and lost, and it's replacement. The fees are {$35.00} to stop payment and {$15.00} to reissue.

Consumer Complaint: Myself and my family members have received harassing calls from this debt collector giving ominous messages about complaints filed in court and legal action to be taken. They refer to a debt that, as to my recollection, is from XXXX. I believe the " debt '' has been sold to several collection agencies throughout the years. However, I disputed this debt back in XXXX. It was a credit card opened by my significant other at the time who added me as an additional card holder. The debt had been removed from my credit report since then. Most recently they claim the debt is from XXXX and when I ask for proof they refuse to provide it and claim it has already been mailed to me. I inform them that I dispute it and even still, the statute of limitations has passed. They responded by telling me they will sue me in civil court for defrauding a financial institution.

I used PayPal Credit Card for this trains action.. After making the payment I seen that something was going on that the money want to XXXX XXXX and NOT XXXX XXXX I found out due to fraud that he cant use PayPal and is using other peoples names to do transactions.. At this time after him giving me two days of links to videos are not just videos of him videoing a tv screen.. nothing with training... I asked to cancel the deal.. he could not give me 5 days of DVDs and then he said he cant do the 5 days of training after I got hotel rooms and everything .... I contacted PayPal credit card but I was told that he give them proof so I can get a refund... f you do a search you can see so many fraud cases with him and so many of them still in court! https : XXXX

Consumer Complaint: I have yet to receive a correspondence in reference to my account. I was approved for {$1500.00} and my credit limit was lowered to {$500.00}. Considering my application was the collateral in which was used to obtain and open the account in my name ; I want to know what happened to the {$1000.00} which this company was issued in advance for the said amount. According to Federal Reserve Act, in no event shall such collateral security be less than the amount of federal reserve notes applied for. How is the financial institution going to tender my application for {$1500.00} then lower my amount to {$500.00}? I have a fiduciary obligation to ensure my accounts is receiving the equity it was giving at the beginning of the consumer credit transaction. You are commissioned under the Security Exchange Commission and took an oath to handle transactions in due form. Are you committing security fraud by advancing for a said amount and then lowering the consumer credit amount? Was the {$1000.00} returned to federal reserve bank and your accounts were balanced? I am demanding the accounting records on this account that is issued by the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Please dont inform about my credit score and factors when the application aka collateral security was what was tendered to obtain the XXXX. The security offered shall be notes, drafts, bill of exchange or acceptances acquired under the Federal Reserve Act.

Consumer Complaint: Text and emails from www.synchrony.com phone # XXXX XXXX Claiming {$9.00} was charged on my TJM rewards card and this was a fraud alert and to verify if I recognized this purchase. When I called they wanted the numbers on that card, I would not give them. They wanted my address, I said to email. They wanted physical address. I asked them to tell me what they had and I would verify, they denied. I asked them to verify my address in bits of information I gave them, giving them incorrect information in some cases and they could relay that it was not what they had on file. They asked if I had lost any of my forms of ID. I replied no. I tried to call them back to inform them I was reported this as scam and the automated system said it didnt recognize my number and could not put my call through.

Consumer Complaint: I got a letter from Synchrony Bank, XXXX PA, stating that I tried to open a credit card from Synchrony Bank for my Paypal account. ( XXXX XXXX : XXXX ). I NEVER TRIED TO OPEN A CREDIT CARD for my Paypal Account ( associated with XXXX ). I tried to report this fraud to Synchrony Bank, but I have no way to contact them unless I already have an account with them. Therefore, this complaint is against Synchrony Bank because I have no way to report fraud to them unless I already have an account with them. ( BTW, I actually do have an account with them associated with the retail chain PC XXXX, but this fraud attempt described above is NOT ASSOCIATED WITH THAT ACCOUNT ).

Consumer Complaint: I was in a labor dispute with my union employer from XXXX till XXXX. I contacted the credit protection I was paying for on my harbor freight synchrony account and notified them of my issues. I didnt hear anything back, and got back to work paid the card off and forgot about it. Then I received a letter stating my payment will be posted to my account with in three days. I then realized that I in fact got reported late for my payments that were effected. So, I contacted them and requested my payment history be corrected on my reports and I applied to have the money that was now a credit on the account mailed to me. They sent me a letter asking me to prove I paid these funds about a week later. So, on my credit report it states 2-3 payments were late which I had credit protection so I should have no payments late or what is the money I paid for? Since then, they credited my account another XXXX.
