Consumer Complaint: Synchrony bank stated my account will not be reinstated so i want disputed items removed from my bill and late payments removed from credit report. I want XXXX XXXX to be held responsible for deceptive business practices. It has been over 6 months & they have not honored the warranty I purchased! They sent synchrony bank a invoice with a fraudulent signature on it that did not belong to me. At this point I do not trust them in my home! If synchrony will not remove disputed items I want XXXX XXXX to pay the balance of them.

I am willing to go into arbitration if they don't remove this off and but make account in Good standings. Consumer Complaint: {$19.00} charge on XX/XX/XXXX statement. cleared my bank on XX/XX/XXXX was due XX/XX/XXXX. Synchrony Bank claims XXXX not paid. My bank ( XXXX provided the tracking number of the debit from Synchrony to show that it was paid but they still say we owe them the XXXX, We provided dates by fax with numbers to show it was paid. XXXX letter from Syn. states we still owe the amount. again we prove the money was paid but they say that they can't verify what they did with the! XXXX. So I will still have to pay on my XX/XX/XXXX statement. So what is my recourse?

Consumer Complaint: I will cancel this card after it is finally paid off which is what I was doing and never open it again. I will also advise others to be very wary when thinking about opening an account. We had an account once before and didnt have one problem, even paid the balance off every month with no problem so we didnt give opening an account again a second thought. I was never told or sent emails to pay off part of it by a certain date to avoid an extremely large amount of money. My balance was going down and now it just went back up. Had I known, I would have paid it. When I tried to chat about it, I kept getting we apologize for the delay, the form must be filled out again, with no response. Finally got someone on the phone who basically told me oh well, our hands are tied and nothing can be done. Then tried to tell me I was receiving emails about promotions ending when they ARE NOT in my inbox. Its sad because they know there is no way to prove it and are preying off thousands of people in the same way. I was actually told if I contacted them sooner something could have been done. That was must definitely a lie as I tried to contact them several times through their text messages and got no where. I have XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX so this is just an amazing add on to our medical payments. This company is nothing but crooks and liars. Your customer service representatives are just as horrible and inconsiderate apparently told to lie to the customers and make us feel stupid and ashamed.

Consumer Complaint: Paypal Credit includes an amount listed which is called " Amount to avoid Standard and Deferred Interest '' - this is fairly typical for most credit card companies but the difference is that Paypal Credit lists this number once per statement and it's static. The number does not change. So if you owe {$500.00} to avoid interest and then you pay {$400.00} it will still say {$500.00} is due to avoid interest. I feel this is a violation and is in place to confuse the user so they may not realize the entire amount has been paid. Many companies take this a step further and when you select " make a payment '' there will be an option for the amount to avoid interest. This is incredibly helpful for users to see what is left to avoid interest. However, Paypal only has " minimum '', " statement balance '' and " current balance '' ... There should be another option to pay the balance to avoid interest and that amount should be dynamic and update as you make payments...

In accordance with the fair credit reporting act XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX has violated my rights. 15 USC 1681 section 602 states I have the right to privacy. 15 USC 1681 section 604 A section 2 : it also states a consumer reporting agency can not furnish a account without my written instructions. 15 USC 1666B : A creditor may not treat a payment on a credit card account under an open end consumer credit plan as late for any purpose.

Consumer Complaint: Synchrony Bank is cheating customers. I agreed to an 18-month interest free credit card with the first payment due on XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX would be my final interest free payment. At XXXX XXXX on Saturday XX/XX/XXXX I received an email stating I owed {$5200.00} of interest! It was not disclosed to me that the interest from day one would be applied on the total balance NOT the balance due. I intended to pay my balance of {$2400.00} on XX/XX/XXXX. I could not get into my account. On Saturday XX/XX/XXXX I could still not get into the account. I tried changing the password and the software kept indicating that they could not find my user-name. I telephoned and was able to make a payment of {$2500.00} and verfiy that I had the correct user name. The following day the morning XX/XX/XXXX I had no problem logging into the account. The user-name and password worked just fine on my first attempt. I have a screenshot of the software not permitting me into the account. They intentionally blocked me from making the payment so they could collect {$5200.00} of interest. The fact that I would owe interest on the full amount originally charged was never disclosed to me. The salesman repeatedly said it was interest free for 18 months. The most a consumer would expect is interest on their balance due. Synchrony Bank has closed my account and ignored me otherwise. They send automated bills for the interest due. I sent them a letter on XX/XX/XXXX. Please investigate Synchrony Bank Promotional Programs. This was deceitful, misleading and malicious. Their attempt to block me from paying is unconceivable.

Consumer Complaint: {$460000.00} dollar CD matured on XX/XX/2023. XX/XX/2023 I requested that Synchrony bank close CD and transfer funds to my linked external account by wire transfer. Bank has not closed account as of XX/XX/2023 and bank representative states that closure of the account takes 5-7 business days and that it takes another 7 days to transfer funds after they get around to closing the account. Bank associate also stated that I could talk to another supervisor and that i would be wasting my time because they would give me the same answer. Poor custoner service. Unacceptable!!!
