Consumer Complaint: First time reporting fraudulent charge of {$100.00} was next day after charge. At that time card company canceled our card and hung up on us. We called back and now informed that a letter was sent out the day before the fraud charge and we need to wait for letter prior to any services from card company. Fraud charge was on XX/XX/2023. As of XX/XX/XXXX no letters, no phone calls, nothing. Card company will not talk with us on phone either. We sent 1 registered letter and 2 regular mail to them. We are completely being ignored. We contacted credit report agencies and placed fraud alerts on our credit.

Consumer Complaint: Synchrony bank ( Belk store card ) reduced my credit limit by 80 % with a XXXX balance on the card causing my credit score to drop significantly without justification. On XX/XX/XXXX synchrony bank caused my score to drop XXXX points because I wouldnt share with them my income. My account has been is great standing for 13 years with a XXXX balance currently.I havent used the card and overpaid them by XXXX. A year ago. I was advised that I can request a credit limit increase back to where it was. 2 days prior once I provided my income to them. This is financial bullying. My income hasnt changed and shouldnt have been an issue on an account in good standing. Once I gave them they immediately increased the limit back. This is abusive of them to cause an impact to my credit score because they want to be nosey. They never informed me that my income was a needed to maintain my higher limit. I have 2 cards with them and have no reason to muse the cards at this time. The last time I used the Belk card was at XXXX and the same income that was provided to them in XX/XX/XXXX is the same that I provided on XX/XX/XXXX. The credit limit reduction is and will cause an impact on my increased score and credit resulting in a negative impact for me and my other credit accounts

Consumer Complaint: The company is refusing to send my credit card statements for the year of XXXX They told me numerous times on the phone that the statements are available. However they sent all of my statements except for that year and I've contacted them to asked why and was promised that they will be sent. I've not gotten them. Due to a flood of my basement where the documents were kept I don't have the needed proof that I purchased their XXXX lifetime transmission warranty unless I get those statements. I think that's the reason why they are deliberately not sending them.

Consumer Complaint: I opened the Lowes card in 2020. At activation, they offered payment security. I opted out verbally. However, the automated system replied that I had enrolled. So I called Synchrony to unenroll. When I called, I was directed to a third party. I contacted the third party and was told I was no longer enrolled. I later noticed fees on my statement. I then contacted Synchrony to inform that the third party had failed to cancel enrollment. I was told to contact the security protection company again, which I did. I have done this multiple times over three years but am still enrolled. Last year I even wrote a letter and sent to the address on my credit disclosure. I make my payments every month but my balance is not moving because they are billing me fees plus interest on fees each month. My original balance was approximately {$700.00}, three years later it is {$660.00}. The only way ( other than paying in full ) that I know to make progress is to cancel the security protection, but I have not had success although I have paid approximately {$700.00} in fees and associated interest.

Consumer Complaint: Synchrony Bank which finances the TJMaxx Rewards card closed my account today after XXXX months of having the card opened. I paid each month on time and actually paid it off recently. My credit score has gone up actually in the last month and a half because I have paid down a lot of my credit cards ( or paid them off ) and personal loans. The reasons the company used was that I did not have real estate in my name to secure the account ( which I didn't have when I opened the account 7 months ago ), that my balances are too high, which is not factual as of XX/XX/XXXX and if XXXX XXXX or XXXX is reporting such, they are reporting erroneous information because I have proof that I have paid down my debt. I contacted the company and spoke to a manager who opened an investigation and while discussing with her I informed her that this seems to be a pattern. I have other XXXX Americans who have made similar comments that Synchrony gave them credit on these store credit cards and around XXXX XXXX months later the card ( XXXX ) were suddenly closed after a big purchase like a house or car. I have also memory that I had a XXXX and Care Credit card that were in good standing in XXXX that they closed 8 months later after I paid them both off. This company is practicing discriminatory lending practices, issuing credit then suddenly after the cards are paid off, closing them without legitimate and factual reasons. At least if the reasons were valid when you approved me you can not use the same reasons to suddenly close my account, correct? And now it's happened twice. At least in XXXX, I owned a home that didn't suffice to secure to credit cards with a total {$1500.00}!!!!

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX XXXX I opened an Ashleys card by synchrony bank. I purchased a sofa with my card and have made timely payments and have never been late. I kept some credit on the card in case I wanted to buy more furniture, however, Sychrony bank kept decreasing my available credit. To the point where I now had only {$600.00} in credit when initially, I had a {$2500.00} credit limit. Yet, I kept making timely payments. After I made XXXX payment, they added a {$900.00} interest rate charge to my account and over charged my account and this made my account go over limit. This isnt right, just overnight, they took away any remaining credit I had on this account. My balance was almost paid off and now this did this crooked transaction. This isnt right, I have other credit cards and Ive never had this happen. I promptly closed my account with these crooks.

Consumer Complaint: My name is XXXX XXXX XXXX, a federally protected consumer, and I am making this complaint against XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, for their abusive, deceptive, and unfair collection practices in the collection of extensions of credit. In a conspiracy with the consumer reporting agencies to cause a restraint of trade and commerce, this debt collector has engaged in racketeering activity. I have never given this company any consent to be in possession of my nonpublic personal information. I disaffirm any alleged agreement or contract between I, the consumer, and the original creditor, whether implied or explicit. This account is a billing error. Please provide me with documentary evidence of the obligors indebtedness. As a federally protected consumer, I am making this complaint against XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, for committing identity theft. I have never given XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX/ XXXX XXXX XXXX, any permission to use any of my identifying information to commit mail fraud by contacting me about an alleged debt they claim I owe. I am aware that in accordance with Article 9, the assignment of a defaulted note is illegal. Both the assignee and the assigned are both liable for violations under 15 U.S. Code 1692e ( 12 ). I have not validated any alleged debt with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX/ XXXX XXXX XXXX and my failure to dispute the validity of the alleged debts shall not be construed as an admission of liability pursuant 15 USC 1692g ( c ). As of XX/XX/2023, I have not received any documentary evidence, such as a trilateral contract, giving XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX/ XXXX XXXX XXXX any right to collect on this alleged debt. I have never received any documentation requesting validation from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX/ XXXX XXXX XXXX, before they committed multiple violations under FCRA and the FDCPA by furnishing this alleged debt to my consumer report, including but not limited to 15 USC 1692d ( 4 ) which the FTC defines as debt parking. If XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX/ XXXX XXXX XXXX, can not provide me proof such as a tracking number that they attempted to lawfully validate this alleged debt with me, the consumer, prior to furnishing it on my consumer report, this has been a fraudulently furnished account with forethought and malice as an attempt to bring harm to me and my financial reputation. This company is in violation of the false claims act and is jeopardizing my consumer credit reputation with other financial institutions by fraudulently furnishing this alleged debt to coerce payment. Any payments made or future payments are a result of threat, duress, and coercion, due to undue influence. I am legally refusing to pay this debt pursuant to 15 U.S. Code 1692c ( c ). I am demanding a cease and desist of all illegal activity, any communication and collection activity, of this and any alleged debts until XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX/ XXXX XXXX XXXX, can provide me with sufficient documentary evidence that I have any legal obligation to pay them.
