Consumer Complaint: XXXX I suffering from memory loss and XXXX recently divorced husband left me with the house. Im on a fixed income and I apply for a modification however this company SPS denied my modification. They forced me info a forbearance when I thought my second mortgage would be modified. Also Im have issues because of covid because i am high risk. They continue to report late payments to the credit bureau to purposely harm me even though Im making payments. I was able to modify my first mortgage however XXXX put me in this horrible forbearance without my knowledge and will want full balloon payment in full in XXXX of almost XXXX dollars in which Im on a fixed income and will have no way of paying. XXXX not trying to help me they just set me up for failure Please help anyway you can as if i was modified I can pay all my payments on time. Im in and out the hospital XXXX days a week because of my XXXX conditions.They refuse to work with me. Seems they are more interested in reporting derogatory information to the credit bureaus that helping me in my situation..

They have us behind 1 payment despite submitting documentation for 18 months on time payments. Still have us marked as inpaid.Again I have documentation THEY WILL NOT ADHERE TO THE FEDERAL XXXX XXXX XXXX PAYMENT PLAN WHICH IS INFORCEMENT UNTIL MORTGAGE ENDS .They are being predatory during the Pandemic and have ruined our credit by reporting us behind despite documentation we have paid they say they do not have uphold the XXXX XXXX XXXX Mortgage and have changed set payment we have continued to pay monthly they are now being predatory threatening foreclosure also the lender Select Portfolio Services refuses any Pandemic relief help they are being arbitrary just wont work with us and treating us lower impuning us because we are on XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX again they have changed the rates from the hardest hit guideline from our federal loan.They threaten foreclosure have ruined our credit by not properly applying our payments of which we have proof has been paid timely We need help asap!! They have added on fees above the hardest hit standard which has not expired and again are being predatory and refuse to even follow guideline for the Federal Pandemic. Please Please. Please help. It has become predatory calls daily, threats during the Pandemic, next most important 2 facts ..they will not ADHERE to the federal loan they took over and 2nd we are not behind we have proof we have paid they keep tacking fees and threatening us and ruined our credit completely on false reporting. Consumer Complaint: I believe I am a victim of mortgage fraud or predatory lending. I bought a home 13 years ago for {$280000.00}. Thirteen years later I owe {$300000.00}. XXXX. In 2007, I purchased the house that I currently reside in for {$280000.00}. Due to a divorce, my home went into foreclosure for less than a year. With all of the fees and what I believe to be fraudulent and predatory banking practices, I currently owe {$300000.00}. Please note that I have been paying my mortgage on time for the past 12 years. How is this possible? How is this legal? The mortgage servicer at the time of the modification was XXXX XXXX. It has since been transferred to Select Portfolio Servicing ( SPS ) I am certain that I am but one of many families of XXXX who is in this very same situation feeling trapped in a system that they can not fight. Consumer Complaint: I purchased my home on or around XX/XX/2008 and financed {$130000.00} on a 30 your mortgage. Over the past 15 years we have had 3 different mortgage company, not by our choice. in the same time span due to personal illness and job loss a couple of times i may have missed 8 or 9 payments. So in the last 15 years i have had roughly 180 payments at or around {$1200.00} ( includes escrow taxes that i am aware increase incrementally yearly ) to make and have made roughly 170 of those payments through the last 15 years. Most recently with our current company who was using foreclosure to force us to refinance again because we were 2 months behind on payments has us paying more than we did at the start of the loan. the loan now i just noticed is financing {$150000.00} for the next 40 years.

Consumer Complaint: I XXXX XXXX am assisting XXXX XXXX XXXX in writing this complaint for review : I am having a very difficult time with SPS. We have submitted an all cash offer to SPS. In XX/XX/2020 SPS told me that appraised value from a walk through is {$710000.00}. Then in XX/XX/XXXXduring a global pandemic with COVID 19 SPS is stating the appraised value went up to {$710000.00}. That is mathematically impossible and does not reflect the current market that is still shut down from COVID. The apprised value should of dropped a bit or at the most stayed the same. So I am dealing with an over inflated appraisal that is not accurate. It does not actually reflect the repairs that are needed to make this property livable for the new homeowner. By California State Law under the Bureau Of Real Estate I am required to disclose the repairs that are mandatory for this property. The repairs are to make the home livable and to remove the 2nd story patio that is a major hazard. These repairs are required for safety and health reasons. These are not upgrades the buyer is requesting, but required repairs. I can not stress that enough.

Consumer Complaint: Hello, I entered into a COVID-19 mortgage forbearance agreement with my XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, Select Portfolio Service ( https : //www.spservicing.com/ ) and was told that they would likely add the missed payments to my existing principal. Now, they are requesting a balloon payment, which I am unable to make. I've been in my home for 16 years. I am a XXXX XXXX XXXX, so I know the game well, and understand all of the terms etc. that they are using. Is there something I can do to force them to add this outstanding balance, which represents the late payments, to the principal or can they do whatever they want to me? The outstanding amount is {$12000.00} and they are sending statements requesting this full amount due as a balloon payment. I've called them several times and it's like banging my head against a brick wall. I wish Congress had restricted all lenders ( not just government-backed loans ) from these balloon payments - people are going to lose their homes, and if it's anything like XXXX, the foreclosures will take the rest of the economy down. It seems antithetical to me that they would want to foreclose. I'm working very hard and have money in the pipeline, but I'm feeling overwhelmed by this as I try to get back on my feet with such an uncertain future with COVID still an issue. Please help!

Consumer Complaint: SPS/Select Portfolio servicing is changing their address in reporting to XXXX this fraud ; ent accccount. SPS/Select Portfolio Servicing is providing false account updates to show the account being paid down and reporting it as an update to XXXX. SPS/Select Portfoio is providing and false information of having corresponding with me in their reporting of this FRAUDULENT ACCOUNT and having it updated each time I dispute it with XXXX. It was showing as current by XXXX based on their false reporting of information they supposedly recieved from me. Then in a week or less after each dispute I make to XXXX I receive an update from XXXX that the the fraudulent account is now late and the reporting address hanges from a po box to a physical address in Utah. I asked SPS/Slect Portfolio to CEASE AND DESIST under the FCRA/FCDPA. SPS/Select Portfoilio continues to report a fraudulent account in my name. I contacted SPS/Select Portfolio Servicing as they had accessed my credit file and reported to XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX an account established in my name fraudulently. I contacted SPS/Select Portfolio Servicing on XX/XX/XXXX, and XX/XX/XXXX disputing the account to SPS/Select Portfolio Servicing and providing them with two separate police reports of identity theft naming SPS/Select Portfolio Servicing. I then notified Select Portfolio Servicing to CEASE AND DESIST under the FCRA on XX/XX/XXXX ; XX/XX/XXXX, and XX/XX/XXXX. I AM THE VICTIM OF FRAUD. On XX/XX/XXXX ; I mailed another letter of dispute with a CEASE AND DESIST to SPS/Select Portfolio servicing via CERTIFIED MAIL to their Utah and XXXX Florida office.
