Consumer Complaint: I am on a covid relief hardship plan and the mortgage company is charging me XXXX in late fees and I asked them if they would waive these fees due to covid and they tell me they can only waive 2 months worth of late fees, I feel XXXX is a lot for customers trying to come out of a pandemic and they are refusing to work with me and on top of that they are trying to give me a XXXX a month repayment plan when my monthly mortgage payment is XXXX who can afford double while in a pandemic when you can barely afford your original payment, I have talked to every Supervisor I can and nobody wants to help me or eliminate some fees so I can get a head. Please help I need desperate help with this

Consumer Complaint: I have two homes being serviced by SP Servicing for receiving my monthly payments. SP Servicing took over my file in XXXX and I have never missed a payment, however, this company insist that I've been behind, when they sent a statement to me showing that they misapplied the monthly payment for XXXX to my principle instead of applying the payment for the month of XXXX, 2021. There is a prepayment penalty on my mortgage with the original lender XXXX XXXX, restricting me from making principle payment additional to my monthly payments. I bought the property the end of XX/XX/2021, so I'm aware that early payments have to be approved to be accepted. The month of XXXX would be an acceptable time to make additional payments and over the 6 months restricted timeframe. I uploaded an SP Servicing statement showing the Unapplied Payment and states that I owed the balance of over {$1100.00} dollars. I paid the entire payment of {$850.00} again this month by calling SP Servicing and they withdrew the funds from my checking account early XXXX this month and applied it to the XXXX payment they refuse to give credit for already being paid. I need to know what is going to happen to my remaining payment of over {$1100.00} that the statement shows, as Unapplied Payments? SP Servicing has not given me credit for the double payment for the month they applied the 2nd payment. Since this has been paid twice this month of XXXX, I continue to receive harrassing letters of collection, home retention and foreclosure prevention threats. I have received 5 letters in one day several days and over 40 letters since the month of XX/XX/2021. When I go online to confirm credit for the payments being made and acknowledged, the SP Servicing website shows that all payments are paid and I owe for the upcoming month of XXXX, but still receiving harrassing and multiple threatening letters, regardless of a perfect payment history. Today, I received 6 letters from SP Servicing 's Collection Department and after requesting a Cease And Desist action from receiving inappropriate and forceful letters two weeks ago and still receiving inappropriate and threatening letters. I'm trying to sell this property that has the most equity and very concerned that there could be a holdup and monies added to my balance, instead of applying it for my monthly payment for another month. please intervene and restrict SP Servicing from harrassing me. It has been very stressful, especially since I had XXXX on Monday the XXXX and really need to rest up for getting moved out of this property this month! No matter what the communication between SP Servicing, the harrassing and freighten letters continue to multiple like clockwork, as thought I'm a criminal, regardless of having had over XXXX credit scores up to this last month in XXXX and XXXX with SP Servicing, Inc.. Please stop this preditory lender from trying to take both of my properties!

The account being on escrow along with XXXX XXXX has cheated me of thousands of dollars per tbe XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX as my investor etc etc It is with with my intent to close the escrow account requirement from my mortgage with Select Portfolio Servicing Inc at this time. I have asked that they credit back the Itemization Interest Calculated and Escrow/ Impound Advance Balance. I have duely paid my house insurance for the year as well as sewer/water have been paid in full for the year. I also have attempted to pay my house taxes, however payment was returned because the due date is after XX/XX/2021. Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2021, I applied for Hardship with SPS Select Portfolio, phone number XXXX XXXX XXXX, as the company servicing my loan. I explained and sent all the documentation required by SPS proving my advanced XXXX diagnosis, and my sensitive financial situation as a self employed professional. I requested a loan modification because I have tried to refinance my house but due to my high debt ratio, my request was denied by several financial institutions. Last week, I called SPS to report the lack of professionalism because this institution keeps asking multiple times for the same documentation that have been already sent. For example, in the last correspondence, SPS keeps asking for people contributing to the payment of the mortgage when other than my self and my wife low wages, there are no other person,. SPS has asked 5 times to send my bank statements which have sent five times. Last Friday, a lady from SPS asked me to stop making my mortgage payments, as the best solution, and do not want to do this because, I am a decent responsible person, I am asking for help when I need it the most, and lower my monthly payments during my XXXX and XXXX XXXX and until my wife finds a job is the best option. Of course, I have ruled out the possibility to sell the house right now, as it has been adapted to my physical needs, and I can not cope with a move right now. I have XXXX children under the age of XXXX both XXXX XXXX XXXX, and I am only asking for help until I finish my XXXX in one year and be able to offer my services as a consultant again. Consumer Complaint: I purchased my home back in XXXX and was in paying the person I bought my home from and in XXXX took a mortgage out with XXXX XXXX and then I took out a second for my kids college and to redo my kitchen, when they went under this other Company called SPS select portfolio servicing took over they told me to pay them and I was until the pandemic hit and they called and told to not worry about paying each month on time and had me on a forbearance. I was still able to pay my secondary payment and then my first mortgage payments went up from {$1200.00} to XXXX then XXXX then XXXX they have my payments up and down and now since about 8 months now are not accepting my first mortgage payments but only my second. I received a letter from and their attorneys that they want to foreclose on my house. I am in the works with XXXX XXXX XXXX out of California to help me with this deception of SPS. SPS will not work with me in reducing my rate from XXXX to the rate that is out there right now. They would rather foreclose and get the high value that my house has earned now. I need help to save my home which i have little grandchildren living with me and the work I have put into this home

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX had put us on a COVID forbearance. Shortly after they sold our mortgage to Select Portfolio Services. They claimed that they sent paperwork to a wrong address and by the time they called us, they said we were being foreclosed on. They claimed that they didnt have to honor XXXX XXXX forbearance and if we would like a loan modification the payments would be {$2000.00} a month and needed a response by the XXXX of XXXX. We sent an appeal about the payment and was told we would be notified within a week. We were not. Upon calling they still hadnt reviewed our appeal and said that they didnt want to resubmit it because it would just prolong it longer. Please let us know if we have any hope of keeping our home and thank you for your time.
