Consumer Complaint: I was successful at meeting my previous modification terms. I was advised to try GA Mortgage Assistance Program ( Marred by a frasulent process ) via several representatives, however was informed this program was. In XXXX I turned in the notarized and signed modification apication, however went through many months uncertainty as I was not allowed to make payment on the mortgage. The representative asked if I had reserves to pay XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, etc, which I was able to confirm. I proceeded to XXXX XXXX to endorse the application for the medication. As I've mentioned before, I was never able to verify the modifications existance by looking in my electronic file. Currently am in forclosure, Investors have bombarded me for the last 4 months with hundreds of Robotic phone calls, Notes on my door, money left at my door and going as far as peeping in my windows. This has been a traumatic experience for me, and I have been on the edge.

Consumer Complaint: on XX/XX/XXXX I submitted a XXXX request as well as a hardship letter attached. I called the servicer several times over the next several days and was told it was being reviewed. On XX/XX/XXXX I was notified by an agent that they needed the hardship letter re-sent to them. I immediately sent it by email. this was XX/XX/. I called them on XX/XX/XXXX to make sure they received the hardship letter. They stated that they had it. They mailed me a letter on XX/XX/XXXX that i received on XX/XX/XXXX stating that I was missing the completed XXXX form. That is ridiculous. On XX/XX/XXXX I uploaded the additional XXXX form they requested. On XX/XX/XXXX they mailed out a letter stating that they received a complete XXXX request and that it would take up to 30 days to review. On XX/XX/XXXX they sent out a decision letter stating that I was denied a XXXX review because they didn't receive the requested XXXX document. I sent this information several times. They denied my modification request without reviewing it, and refuse to open a new XXXX request because they have already reviewed it. They never reviewed it, or even asked for income documents. I deserve to at least have the opportunity to try to retain my home. Please contact them and make them provide me a proper XXXX review. When I call them by law they are supposed to have a designated relationship manager that is assigned to me. there is one listed on my letters but when I put in the listed extension I never get that person. I get a different one every time and they are not familiar with my file. And they all tell me different things. Not one until yesterday ever gave me the number of the dispute department. They should not refuse me aa XXXX review. Please help me. I am a XXXX veteran that was affected by covid. I went through divorce and was in a XXXX XXXX accident and underwent XXXX XXXX. I am finally able to get things on track and they wont help. if you need any additional information please contact me.

Consumer Complaint: I received notice back in XXXX that my mortgage was being released from bankruptcy and that I needed to prepare to start making payments. I was not receiving any notices from the mortgage company because they had my file geared for electronic mail and I never authorized it. I have never filed bankruptcy, so I requested copies of all payments, deed and my primary note. I have been given the run around from Select Portfolio Servicing ( SPS ) for the past 6 months. I have applied for mortgage assistance but have been denied. I receive at least 3-4 pieces of correspondence from SPS every day and each of the mail pieces have different dates and very confusing information. This appears to be a tactic being used by this company to confuse the consumer or to make me give up the fight for my home. I have been in my home for 20 years and have requested an audit on the numbers because I purchased my home for XXXX and today I owe XXXX. There is obviously something shady going on with this company. In my research I learned that there are cases similar to mine all over the country and SPS is in litigation with over XXXX consumers regarding similar issues. I am seeking protection under the laws that protect consumers like me. My home has been placed up for foreclosure in the next 30 days. I am seeking HELP!

Consumer Complaint: SPS ( Select Portfolio Servicing ) is not processing or responding to my requests, allowing property tax bills to go unpaid. SPS has been sent supplemental property tax bills for payment on 4 occasions and has made no response indicating an understanding of the problem. After the first two submissions of online tax bills, costumer service representatives assured me over the phone that they were responsible for paying the property tax bills and would make distributions from the escrow account. The representative also told me that they were correctly receiving the online documents. No such tax payments have been made on my behalf. Nor has the SPS responded to my request or the submitted documents. When I most recently talked with a customer service representative on XX/XX/, the representative claimed that SPS was not responsible for making these supplemental payments and that my previous submitted documents had not made forwarded to the correct department. The representative told me that these payments could be made out of escrow, but I have received no communication about not paying supplementals out of escrow since my first correspondence in XXXX. The representative said that they would forward the file to the appropriate person to make a payment from escrow. It is possible that a payment of the overdue taxes will be made sometime over the next few days, but that doesn't resolve the damage done and time wasted through this correspondence. If payment is not made by Friday, I intend to pay the County myself and hope this complaint can work as a way of providing restitution. Attached correspondence documents show proof of submission of documents to SPS. Additional attachments should forwarded documents along with SPS acknowledging receipt of my submissions.

Consumer Complaint: I have been a consistent and timely payer of my mortgage with Select Portfolio Servicing for many years. Recently, due to unforeseen financial difficulties, I fell behind on a few months ' payments. I have now stabilized my financial situation and am capable of resuming regular mortgage payments. To address the accumulated arrears, I requested Select Portfolio Servicing to allow me to split the overdue amount over a few months, while I continue with my regular monthly payments. This was a reasonable request considering my previous record of timely payments and the temporary nature of my financial setback. However, instead of accommodating my request or offering an alternative solution, Select Portfolio Servicing escalated the issue unnecessarily. They referred my account to legal proceedings and initiated foreclosure actions. This approach was both unexpected and extreme, especially given the circumstances and my history with the company. I was informed that their refusal to negotiate a payment plan was due to adherence to their " system, '' a stance even their supervisor acknowledged as unfair but felt powerless to change.

Consumer Complaint: I am an elder person with XXXX XXXX XXXX, and i wor very hard to have a sweet home, due to XXXX XXXX i had a very hard situation and my expenses increased and my incomes decreased, so for that reason a was unable to pay several bills, including my mortgage, i spent all my business and personal savings to try to pay my medical and personal bills. Now i am back to continue working i am trying to resolve my mortgage payments, i have been trying to get loans to pay the past due amount and i get some pre-approvals which i have sent it to my lender but at the last time they do not qualify me for the loan so i could not make the payment, then when i spent all my resources to pay the full past due amount, i tried to apply for an option with my lender SPS to at least start with my payments and find a solution for the past due amounts, i spoke with XXXX back on XX/XX/XXXX, she told me my application was denied but they have an special XXXX and that i might qualify for it, she made a financial interview and i told her i was able even to pay more than my monthly payment just to resolve that debt, she told me as this is an special XXXX it takes like 7 days for an update. Then i call on XX/XX/XXXX, and spoke with someone from Ombudsman and he told me i was approved with the XXXX and provided me the new terms and sent a copy of the new terms. Then i called on XX/XX/XXXX to accept the terms and continue with my payments on XX/XX/XXXX and a representative told me they are not going to accept to continue with the XXXX as there is a sale date on XX/XX/2023. Eventhough on their terms says they can postpone when there are 34 days before the sale date and in that day there was 39 days. Then they told me that they will not proceed cause i can not afford cause i told them that, they have recorded calls and they can listen the calls cause i NEVER said i can not afford it, and i showed them my Bank Statement where it shows i can do it. Then they told me they can not proceed as the sale date has been postponed twice in the past. But this is not a postponement at the end as i will start with my payments on XX/XX/2023. We submited a request to continue with the XXXX as all the reasons they gave us are not valid, and i called on XX/XX/XXXX to Ombudsman and i spoke with XXXX, he told the request was denied. I requested a Sup to resolve this situation and they just did not want to take my call. I give you permission to share my situation with everyone until this gets resolved. It does not make sense they approved me and then they just tell me they can not proceed with something they approved, like, why did you approve me then?

I have lived in my home for XXXX in a XXXX years, Back in XXXX I bought my home for XXXX with a XXXX year fixed loan and a XXXX XXXX interest rate. I worked at the mines for XXXX years and never missed a payment. I had taken out a loan against the property in XXXX for XXXX which was considered a XXXX mortgage. I was paying XXXX monthly every month. Than in XXXX I had a XXXX XXXX and was forced into retirement i also had a XXXX which has completely ruined my memory. I am getting foreclosed on for delinquent taxes which i have always had escrow taken out of my payment every month and never had a problem. now they want to take my home away? Why and how do i owe more than what i originally got my loan for XXXX years ago. I still owe XXXX dollars on my home and it is worth XXXX dollars now. I quit making payments on my home to both companies because i did not know where my money was being applied to. I need answers I should have my house payed off or pretty close to having it paid off. Last year I was in good standing with the XXXX XXXX XXXX and got help from the HAF program in Wyoming and they applied XXXX dollars to that mortgage so i could pay off the XXXX every month on the loan i took against the property so i was paying XXXX every month because i did not have to make a payment on the first loan due to the HAF program paying me XXXX ahead. They have no record for that payment and now saying i am XXXX dollars behind. something is not right I do not know weather to hire an accountant to help or an attorney to help i am at loss for words and refuse to lose what i have worked so hard for.

Consumer Complaint: I have experienced a Covid-related hardship related to a tenant at a rental property. This property has a mortgage that is serviced by SPS Servicing. In XXXX, I reached out to convey this hardship and sought a payment deferral that was made required by Fannie Mae on XX/XX/2023. These enhanced terms provide that a payment deferral plan be enacted for up to XXXX months ( deferred payments accrue in a non-interest bearing account ) and that no negative reporting would be issued for missed payments. The servicer told me that I needed to let the mortgage go XXXX months delinquent before any options could be explored. When I called SPS Servicing recently ( XX/XX/XXXX ) a representative told me that I was severely behind in payments and that steps for foreclosure would begin XX/XX/XXXX. I inquired again about XXXX XXXX XXXXs enhanced deferral policies and the individual was unaware of these new required terms. Also, she could not distinguish between payment deferrals and a loan modification ( she was pressuring me to get a modification which I do not want to do ). As an alternative, the representative told me to submit a letter requesting the newly required enhanced deferral terms, which I submitted but have not heard back from. She also told me to complete a form that is supposed to be under a " Mortgage Assistance '' section but the link on my profile does not yield any information. I am deeply concerned that I will lose my home due to the servicer either being unwilling to abide by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX required enhanced terms or they are completely unaware of them. I need their proactive communication with me as I have sought to provide.
