Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I received a call from ( XXXX ) XXXX that went to voicemail. The voicemail stated it was concerning an account connected to my social security number. I called the number back and the call was answered as " legal department XXXX XXXX XXXX ''. When I inquired why they contacted me a " XXXX XXXX '' proceeded to ask if I was XXXX XXXX. I confirmed I was and asked why they called me. She stated they were " representing their client for debt owed to XXXX XXXX in a civil suit and would I like to pay the bill owed before it went to court ''. I asked them to send me the information regarding the debt and let them know I owed no debt to XXXX XXXX and have a XXXX balance on my XXXX XXXX credit card account. XXXX XXXX refused to send information to be regarding this alleged account and any money owed. She also refused to provide me with an address for their organization so that I could send a verification letter. I then stated to XXXX XXXX that any reference she may have to an alleged balance owed was from an old account which was paid off in 2003 and that I had reported Portfolio Recovery Associates ( who keeps selling this account ) to the Federal Trade Commission and the Consumer Finacial Protection Bureau for re-aging debt practices in 2014. I advised XXXX XXXX since she was refusing to provide me an address for their business to send a verification request letter that they were to cease and desist calling me. This business called me again on XX/XX/XXXX and a " XXXX '' called me from XXXX saying she was " calling on behalf of attorney XXXX XXXX '' and would I like to pay the debt or be ready to have my wages garnished and my home with XXXX XXXX have a lien put on it ''. I again stated to " XXXX '' that I did not owe a debt to XXXX XXXX and requested verification of information ( which she refused ) and asked for an address of the company to send a request for verification letter. She refused. I again told " XXXX '' to cease and desist calling me. I have received calls and voicemails from this company from ( XXXX ) XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, and XX/XX/XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: I am writing to express my concerns and seek a resolution regarding recent interactions with your agency concerning accounts falsely attributed to me. I have been in contact with your agent, XXXX ( ID : XXXX ) I have repeatedly informed your representatives that these accounts are not mine and have requested verification documents to substantiate the claims associated with them. Despite my clear communication and requests for evidence, I have yet to receive any such verification. Instead, I am met with prolonged holding times often exceeding 30 minutes, only to have the calls disconnected without resolution. The insistence on immediate payment for these unverified and inaccurate debts is not only distressing but also unacceptable. The lack of response and failure to provide necessary documentation leaves me in a position where I am unable to resolve this matter effectively. I am requesting immediate removal and update of these erroneous accounts from my records. It is imperative that this issue is addressed promptly to avoid further inconvenience and potential harm to my financial standing. I expect a written response confirming the removal of these accounts and an update on the steps taken to rectify this situation. Your cooperation in resolving this matter efficiently is highly appreciated. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. I look forward to a resolution at the earliest convenience.

Consumer Complaint: Portafolio Recovery is trying to collect on debt not owed by XXXX XXXX. The debt was opened XX/XX/XXXX by XXXX XXXX XXXX and the other one was on XX/XX/XXXX. Both debt was by original owned by XXXX XXXX XXXX, which have no agreement, and have never done any contract or transaction with them. The amounts for XX/XX/XXXX is for {$1900.00} and is reported as open on the XXXX XXXX credit reports. The other amount is for XX/XX/XXXX for the amount of {$1900.00} and is stated open under XXXX XXXX. When I disputed the first amount for {$1900.00} for XXXX, Portfolio Recovery did not respond back instead they added a new one for the XXXX which was not on my report previously. This deceptively added a new unknown debt to my credit report from source I have never dealt with.
