Consumer Complaint: My PaypaXXXX account was suspended and my funds are being held for up to 180 days in contradiction with their own User Agreement. This happened on XXXX : The message that I got after my account was reviewed was and I quote : " We've reviewed your PayPal account again, but we're still unable to make the money in your account balance available for withdrawal at this time. This is because we must allow sufficient time for buyer complaints, such as chargebacks, to be opened by customers who've sent you money in the past. These can take several months to be reported and resolved and because they can result in financial loss, we need to leave money in your balance to cover any such eventuality. '' This is also the reason stated in their User Agreement. I insist again, for the review team to reconsider my release of funds as the above condition does not apply to my account any longer because : -There was only one person that sent money to my account and they used their Paypal balance, so there is no posibility of a card chargeback for any transaction made to my account as they did not pay with any card or bank account. -All transactions made to my account has been already disputed and all cases were decided in my favor so there is no longer a risk of any case or dispute being open for any of my transactions, and so the risk for a financial loss to Paypal is no longer a factor that exists. My funds are now being held beyond the reason for witch they were being held, again the 180 days hold is to allow for any chargeback and/or disputes to happen, but chargebacks can not happen as explained above and all possible disputes already happened and they were settled for all transactions made to my account. The Paypal company now holds my money in contradiction with their own User Agreement.

Consumer Complaint: I use PayPal and I was looking at my transaction history to see how much my paycheck was that gets direct deposited. I noticed FOUR transactions that I did not make or authorize. They were all around $ XXXX {$68.00}. So I XXXX PayPal 's phone number and called it. From the very second the call started, the man who answered the phone was very broken up and I didn't hear what he was saying. So he then called me back from a different phone number. He stated that he was from PayPal and I explained everything. He said they were going to give me my money back but he had to make me go through some security steps to make sure my identity. He had me download an app called " XXXX '' which I guess mirrors my phone screen and sends it to him. He then had me transfer the ENTIRETY of my money, every cent, to my cXXXX XXXX. And then from my XXXX XXXX he had me send the entirety AGAIN ( {$630.00} exactly, which didn't include the {$240.00} and some change from the unauthorized charges ) to a different account and that account DID NOT BELONG TO ME. He stated that it wasn't really my money, it was just a security task. So now, I don't have ANY of my money. And I have no clue what to do, because I thought because it was " PayPal '' that I'd get it right back.

I signed her up for a teen account attached to my venmo account which is XXXX and it said i need to close one account. The account XXXX needs to be closed and $ $ transferred to me or simply transferred to the teen account. The teen account could not be opened because they said it was tied to another account. I can not even access the other account. It has over {$200.00} in account with no way of accesing the account. Help!!!

Consumer Complaint: On or about XX/XX/2023 I initiated a money transfer in the amount of {$240.00} from my PayPal account to my XXXXXXXX XXXX checking account, upon checking my bank account the funds never appeared! I contacted XXXX XXXX immediately and I learned that this particular account had been closed due to inactivity as I was unaware and XXXXXXXX XXXX never notified me electronically that account had been closed, of course if I had been made aware I certainly would not have sent funds to this particular account! So when speaking to bank representative she said funds would be rejected and sent back to PayPal I waited for about 72 hours before contacting PayPal as it was XXXX of XXXX that Tuesday and process would take longer due to holiday! When I finally was able to speak with PayPal money had not arrived back to them and I explained the situation to them that bank account had been closed without my knowledge and they said they would open up a case and do a trace to see and try and locate money. A few days passed and PayPal got back with me and according to their investigation XXXX XXXX had received funds, I contacted XXXX once again made them aware of what PayPal had said so the bank representative did a deep dive more or less to no avail on the whereabouts of the money! I then did a 3 way call with both regions and PayPal so that representatives could speak on phone as I was present and try and figure out the situation both pretty much blamed one another as PayPal had not received funds back and PayPal told regions representative that after their investigation the money had been accepted! In subsequent days and weeks I did two more 3 way calls with XXXX and PayPal and still had zero answers as to where money was!

Consumer Complaint: This is a problem with Pay Pal from back in 2019. A transaction of XXXX XXXX usd was transacted thru the account and all of the statements have some how disappeared and the account was closed no soon as the transaction was conducted. On this particular day a withdrawal from Pay Pal was taking place at an ATM around XXXX and XXXX with the business Mastercard by myself the sole owner of the account when the atm slip spit out it showed a balance of XXXX usd. Showed the person in the car and said is this right what Im seeing? And he said yes. The receipt was then put in the vehicle glove box tucked behind n the maintenance manual. About 5 months later car was stolen. XXXX XXXX was the bank the atm slip came from and XXXX XXXXXXXX was the financing lean holder on this vehicle. Have contacted pay pal on many occasion and still get nothing. All accounts closed for a nonown reasons no money back and a nice hang up. This company has many other companies that have a profile on me and now had ruined name credit and what life there was. Countless hours lost for on all this and many attacks still today cause I wont hush! Now its getting personal.
