Consumer Complaint: First week of XXXX PayPal froze the funds in my account due to suspicious activity but refused to tell me exactly what. I tried to resolve the confusion because I knew I wasn't doing anything wrong by my boyfriend 's mom sending me money. They limited my account for 180 days no explanation. Once the 180 days was up they sent me an email saying my funds were finally eligible to withdrawal. When I tried to do that it wouldn't let me. I've emailed PayPal asking for help and only get responses saying i can't use PayPal and they can't tell me anything else. When I've called PayPal they also told me they won't release my money and can't tell me anything else. I don't know what to do. Over 700 dollars that is legitimately mine and they refuse to help me and are robbing me it feels like. Please help XXXX XXXX

On the XXXX of XX/XX/2020, I woke up to see Paypal permanently limited my account for no reason. I am a university XXXX studying XXXX XXXX, XXXX and also have some family members who depend on me. I borrowed money from people to expand my virtual tradings. As I am talking, all the funds have been locked up in Paypal for 180 days. Honestly speaking I can't wait for the 180 days because if I try to wait, I will either go to jail or commit XXXX. I have an amount of {$1400.00} USD locked up. I have contacted PayPal through XXXX but the response I received wasn't encouraging. I am partially homeless now. I would happy if you can intervene to save me from this misery. Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2021 I sent money to someone through VENMO in the amount of {$1300.00} that turned out to be fraud. Venmo said they could not help and proceeded to pay out the fraud/scammer. They agreed to " investigate '' but in the meantime have done nothing for 2 weeks. Their customer service team passes me to account specialists who pass me back to customer service and " supervisors. '' They have been taking me in circles this whole time. I had to call XXXX XXXX XXXX to block these charges. Meanwhile, my friends on venmo sent me money without knowing about my account investigation. VENMO proceeded to take that money ( {$200.00} XXXX to pay themselves back. Today, Saturday, XX/XX/XXXX, another friend paid me {$50.00} for a birthday collection and VENMO proceeded to steal that from my account, and sent me a bill saying " by the way, you still owe us {$1000.00} from the previous charge '' with no update on the fraud investigation. Anything that hurts their bottom dollar they are quick to to chargeback customers, but anything that they may owe goes through weeks of investigation.

Consumer Complaint: I was charged {$29.00} for an adult phone app thru XXXX and paypal. I don't remember and want it refunded. I am unable to login to cancel. Refund me. I would like to open a dispute against this vendor. Its a fraudalent transaction. It is some scam app on XXXX. The company who took the money wont aknowledge the service or give any details. When I try to login with the email address they claim i used to sign up for the subscription, it simply says i have no account. They say to paypal and XXXX its a 3 month subscription that was cancelled. Even if i had cancelled or them I should still get at minimum a prorate refund since it was only days into the 3 month plan I was charged for. Like judge XXXX would say if it ends up on there : Its like being charged for a steak you didnt order, if you are not allowed to eat it once its paid for, then this is fraud if you dont refund the merchant. I can not be charged for an entire steak if I didnt order it and didnt eat it. I should get my money back here. Please open a dispute and include this text. It is some company called XXXX? I am not sure if I have the right company, but the charges appeared as charged by XXXX using my paypal account. Niether company would assist in refunding to date. Please assist. Paypal gave the following case info, but refuse to provide any documention and ignored my appeal request. I would like to appeal this with paypal.
