Consumer Complaint: I used PayPal for a purchase from XXXX. The unit ( {$1700.00} ) did Not work I contacted XXXX, the manufacturer XXXX, & PayPal. I asked for a replacement of a refund. After a month I was told on XX/XX/XXXX by PayPal I would get a REFUND with a return. I returned it to the address in XXXX, given which cost me over {$400.00} USPS XXXX. Since, I've contacted PayPal for 2 months, I was told I was only a few days away from seeing my Refund returned to my bank account. Today I received the attached email. Consumer Complaint: There was a {$350.00} transaction paid by my XXXX XXXX XXXX credit card through Paypal on XX/XX/21 which went onto dispute. The dispute continued with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX process and a full refund of {$350.00} was issued on XX/XX/21. Paypal issued a temporary credit of {$140.00} back to the credit card on XX/XX/21 The problem is that then on XX/XX/21 Paypal reversed the {$140.00} temporary credit from my Paypal account instead of the credit card account. XXXX XXXX XXXX made ANOTHER reversal of {$140.00} from the credit card on XX/XX/21. Basically, the {$140.00} credit was issued once and reversed TWICE. XXXX XXXX XXXX says it's Paypal 's issue and Paypal says it's XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX issue. Someone needs to re-issue the {$140.00} credit back to me.

Consumer Complaint: I attempted to make a purchase to XXXX via PayPal credit on XX/XX/28. PayPal approved the purchased, but unbeknownst to me, there was not enough available credit to make the purchase. I found this out because PayPal then proceeded to debit one of my bank accounts for the amount resulting in an insufficient funds fee. I didn't know PayPal would do this, so I removed all of my additional cards and bank accounts from PayPal and had my staff accountant contact them immediately regarding this attempt to debit my bank account. I received an email from PayPal stating they had canceled the billing agreement with the merchant and I presumed it was canceled and I'd no longer be charged. To my chagrin they attempted to debit my bank account again resulting in another insufficient funds fee. I logged in to one of my other credit cards that had previously been removed from PayPal and noticed they had posted the transaction to that credit card on XXXX, a full week after I had already removed the card from PayPal. I have the original email showing when my credit card was removed from PayPal the week prior and that no charges would be posted after that date, so how was PayPal able to charge that card a full week after without authorization?

Consumer Complaint: So randomly today around XXXX i get an email from paypal they literally banned my paypal saying I can no longer do business with them, and I only used it twice to get payments, XXXX payment days ago of {$350.00}, a couple days ago {$600.00} which they reviewed for 24 hours and then it passed the review and all of a sudden, today, they email me saying im limited permanently. This is so ridiculous I didn't do XXXX at all. I use paypal for family and friends and I even have a business one. This is ridiculous I need this ban lifted, I didn't sell anything on this paypal, or even get any disputes. Only XXXX person has sent me money. I need this ban gone, its how they abruptly ban you off their platform without any sort of explanation.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2021, I was trying to update my email and address on my PayPal account and called the number listed on its website. When I spoke to first XXXX XXXX and then to a person, who claimed to be a PayPal Account Manager - XXXX XXXX - ID # XXXX at XXXX. XXXX XXXX first asked me to log onto my bank account ( XXXX XXXX ) and XXXX {$490.00} from my checking account to a XXXX to verify my identity. XXXX also asked that I send {$490.00} from my savings account to XXXX XXXX at XXXX to verify the same. The savings account did not go through but the checking account did. XXXX explained that my money was not being sent but was only being used to verify identify and the funds would be back within in my account within 24 hours. Which has not happened. On XX/XX/2021, my wife and I have called several numbers that XXXX and XXXX had provided and they all answer the phone stating they are with PayPal. We also spoke to a XXXX XXXX at XXXX is a Request to receive money on my PayPal account but I am unable to file any type of resolution or dispute with the transaction. I had my wife email PayPal to try to get a resolution. We also spoke with a XXXX who said he was with PayPal dispute center and his ID is XXXX. However, he wanted me to log into another website and when I asked why, he became hostile and hung up the phone. On XX/XX/2021, I have spoken with my bank and have filed a money movement claim, which will take 10 days. I am now filing a claim here because I want to make sure that all my bases are covered and that I am able to get my {$490.00} back.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2020 I started to receive my unemployment benefits from GDOL which included several deposits for back paided week on my claim. Altogether I received XXXX on XX/XX/2020 I recieced 1 single deposit t which time my account was restricted and subsequently placed with a permanent limitation. I've contacted PayPal numerous times over the past 1, 3 months and I'm still being told that no information can be given. And that no one within PayPal entirety could uplift these restrictions so I can regain access to my full rightfully owned funds. I was a regular UI recipient not a PUA recipient. These are funds that I am lawfully & rightfully entitled to. I've done everything accordingly but PayPal is refusing to release my funds to me and I've followed their procedure thoroughly & now I'm not being given any resolution or solution to withdraw my funds and close my account. And it's been over a full calendar year since these restrictions were first implemented against myself. Please help me recover my funds in a timely manner.
