Consumer Complaint: I have a PayPal account under email name XXXX. PayPal permanently shuts down my account and freezes all the money in my account. However, this account was used solely to accept money from friends. I usually pre-pay party-related expenses and my friends use PayPal to transfer money to me so I can pay credit card bill. After PayPal freezes my account, I don't have enough money to pay my credit card bill, and causes lots of inconvenience to my life. I want PayPal to resume my account immediately.

Consumer Complaint: Date : XXXX XXXX, 2022 Amount : XXXX EUR Action : I sent XXXX EUR to a XXXX via PayPay by allowing my own USA-based credit card-issuer to convert from USD. The words " cash advance '' do not show up anywhere in the process of sending money to XXXX accounts, so I was surprised the next day when my bank charged me a cash advance fee of 3 %. The only notice from PayPay before the transaction implies that there may be a fee for currency conversion ( " Your card issuer will determine the currency conversion rate and what fees they may charge. " ), but doesn't mention that the transaction will be run as a cash advance, so there's no expectation that there will be any additional fees other than currency conversion fees.

Consumer Complaint: Venmo is a scam as soon as I did receive money to my account they did freeze my account although before my account was verified with SSN and personal details I was asked to submit my ID document which I did! on the XXXX of XXXX I did receive an email that my account is now verified again and unfrozen I then received another transfer from a friend who send money for my baby shower party and tried to withdraw the money all the sudden ACCOUNT FROZEN AGAIN NOW IT SHOWS ON MY ACCOUNT I DID VIOLATE USE POLICY! WHAT A NONSENSE! VENMO SUPPORT ARE XXXX AS SOON AS MONEY GOES INTO AN ACCOUNT THEY BLOCK IT! VENMO STOLE {$3000.00} USD FROM ME. LAW ENFORCEMENT MUST TAKE ACTION AGAINST THESE SCAMMERS!

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/22 - PayPal advertised to me on their main webpage after I had logged in that from a transaction that was approximately {$10000.00}, that {$4000.00} was available for instant withdrawal ( within 60 minutes and for a fee of 2.5 % of the transaction equaling {$60.00} ). PayPal failed to deliver the funds and basically threw every excuse they could at me, from blaming my back for this issue to saying they didn't know I had a new account although they had no trouble placing automatically placing a hold on the approximately {$10000.00} that was received. Although Paypal purports to do this for their customer protection, they had no issue in taking their % fee from the transaction as soon as the funds were received in the accounting. I believe in providing deceptive advertising Paypal violated various CFPB regs and dealt in bad faith as an unfair trade practice and is in breach of the covenant of good faith and fair dealing. Consumer Complaint: I'm trying to get help with an order that paid for through PayPal but here 's how it goes with the process, I selected, 'I received an item or service that was different or not as described '. That's very correct, the listing for the product did not have the sizes of the fittings or even the size of the pump and when came was the wrong size fittings and the pump much bigger than expected. So with that selection I had to 'Select the type of issue ' and none of the options have anything to do with the item not being as described, the shorthand list is : damaged item, defective item, missing parts, different item, counterfeit item, empty box, unrelated item, non functioning item. Basically you can not move forward without selecting one of those but the problem is the merchant could easily dispute any of those selections. One has to wonder if this isn't PayPal just trying to make it difficult to initiate a dispute or create the ability to reject the claim! For reference, this involves XX/XX/XXXX transaction with XXXX XXXX XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: I filed a complaint here about shoes that I ordered and PAYPAL 'S REFUSAL to honor their ironclad warranty for buyers of products. They closed my original buyer resolution complaint without issuing a refund. Now I checked to make sure that complaint is still under the pending section and it again is under the closed section. Keep in mind before I wrote the last complaint i went through the activity report and filed a new complaint because it was marked as " closed '' Seeing that the complaint is closed I tried to do reopen another one and now it would appear that the transaction is not even in the history. Also when the cards to this account are being used the parties are being asked to present ID this violates XXXX operating rules and I would like it to IMMEDIATELY STOP for all cards on this account ( XXXX XXXXthis complaint is to be added to the contemporaneous record to be given to our legal staff for further prosecution of this claim if needed.
