Consumer Complaint: I was a victim of a scam between XX/XX/2023 and XX/XX/2023 and during that time I reported my concerns to Venmo and my account was then frozen. I was asked to prove identity which I did in XXXX and then made one transaction to my XXXX XXXX XXXX company. My account was then suspended and I was told I violated the acceptable use policy I asked them how and nothing was said. I then filed a police report when I fully learned the scam I was a victim of on XX/XX/2023. The police told me to reach out to the companies I had used in the process and I did and now as a result they are stating I cant use Venmo. My family was not involved and my husband tried establishing an account and his account was then suspended as well and he was in no way involved. I want to establish a new account or have my husband be able to establish an account as we use this method to pay for our XXXX XXXX and its the only payment form used.

Consumer Complaint: I have ongoing complaints with VENMO, I have been trying for three years now to collect funds that they said would only take 180 days to get a resolution for. The first complaint I submitted here they responded to, someone called and said a check will arrive within 2-4 weeks. After 4 weeks, I was told another 4 weeks. Since XX/XX/XXXX, it has now been 3 months and I have yet to receive my check and also I have deducted the amount from the balance for the check, but no no one is responding to the requests, and phone reps keep saying " Someone '' will return my call but its been over 3 years and 6 months and I have not received a dime. One the last complaint to you all, the said company responded to say " its not that company, wrong company ''. Venmo which is owned by Paypal has kept my funds after being told they are sending out a check. For whatever reason they didn't just transfer my funds to my bank that has been there for years. A small social security check was deposited in the amount of {$670.00} in to my account. After sending the birth certificates, social security cards, ID, and bank statements, giving them all my info they still keep my funds for what they said was 180 days, which has now been almost 4 years. They sent a statement showing the remainder of my {$6700.00} check being sent to me but there has been nothing in my USPS informed delivery. Now no one is answering my online requests no giving me a resolution on the phone.

Consumer Complaint: A friend asked me to get the Venmo. App so they could send me money. I downloaded the app to my XXXX and to make sure I had it right I sent a request for XXXX dollar to my friend so they could have my account info. I was then notified that XXXX $ had been sent to me. I then linked and verified my bank account and debit card to my Venmo account. I tried to transfer the $ to my XXXX debit card but was unable to. After several attempts I used the help menu and spoke chat to a chat bot who couldn't resolve my problem and referred me to XXXX XXXX : I was then informed that my account had been frozen and I had to wait for a team of supervisors to email me to unfreeze my account

Consumer Complaint: My sister sent me money through PayPal and her husband disputed the charge in error. It was corrected and PayPal is still trying to charge me and my sister back. PayPal sent me to collections for {$340.00} that I do not owe. XX/XX/2023 XXXX agent is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX sent me a collection letter. When I call them all they want is the money and will not listen to reasons I dont own this debt. My sister nor myself have been credited this amount therefore how could either of us owe anything. I've worked hard to not have collections on my credit to have PayPal put me into collections for no reason. PayPal said they see the issue yet they cant get me to anyone to fix it. I have provided all document to proof this is not my debt and they just sent me to collections anyway.
