Consumer Complaint: I sent Navient a copy of my identity thief report over XXXX years ago asking them to remove me from this fraudulent account which is account # XXXX. I was told that I would still be on the account after sending my report. I was told that the file was overlooked and I would still stay attached to this fraudulent account. I expressed how I felt about this decision but was basically told that doesnt matter I asked them to send me copies of this account with all transactions but was told several different things about why I can not receive anything. I then sent a cease and desist letter on XXXX attached with compensation payment demand because of the abuse and harassment and still is receiving from this company but no reply. I gave them 14 days to respond but no reply. I called them after i received a letter in the mail after me to again associate myself with this account. Please can you help with me with this issue. Thank you

Subissue: Trouble with how payments are being handled
Consumer Complaint: I filed the same XXXX paperwork as I do every year. My other provider XXXX processed the XXXX payments. Navient completely ignored it and told me I had to pay a minimum of an interest payment every month of {$350.00}. The actual XXXX repayment is {$100.00} per month. Every other year this has not been an issue and I have always made the payments presented to me. I called Navient several times, and they offered to give me forebearance if I paid them {$50.00} for each month. But this does not help pay anything off. For 3 months in a row everyday I received phone calls twice a day. I felt harassed and trapped. I had no recourse with them. I would receive text messages asking if I was having trouble to file for an XXXX. Which as I mentioned was ignored, not rejected. It has been cruel and unjustified. I have been receiving treatments for XXXX XXXX for this amount of time and was forced to block them to stop the harassment just to escape the constant bombardment of calls, texts and emails all asking if I need help. Knowing no help was forthcoming. Why are they permitted not to process an XXXX request for the first time ever in the history of my loans! My other provider provides me a fair resolution all the time, but Navient has pushed me beyond frustrated. PLEASE HELP ME! PLEASE GET ME AWAY FROM THIS BARBARIC TREATMENT!!! I AM REQUESTING TO BE REMOVED FROM NAVIENT AS MY LOAN SERVICER.

Consumer Complaint: Changed banks, in XX/XX/XXXX submitted a request online with Navient to change my auto pay to new account ( I have been on auto pay for 20 years and have 10 more to go ). Recd email stating autopay approved with new bank. XX/XX/XXXX, Navient took autopay out of old bank acct. XX/XX/, resubmitted new autopay online and received email confirming new autopay. XX/XX/XXXX Navient did not take out autopay from any account. Called Navient to resolve. Through several phone calls was told that they would put my XXXX payment into Administrative forebearance, my loan terms would not change and I would not lose my .25 % interest reduction for timely auto pay payments. The automated electronic contract did not state the same terms that the representatives had told me, it stated a regular forebearance with interest capitalized, etc. You can not get out of the automated contract to speak to the representative without agreeing to the contract. I raised my concerns to 2 different representatives ( Navient made the mistake of not starting my autopay correctly, I did not want my payment to change or lose my interest rate reduction, or receive a late pay on my credit report, and that the automated contract did not state what they had told me ). Each representative said the same thing, that this was an Administrative forebearance that my payment and interest rate would stay the same and no late payment would be reported to the credit bureaus. Since Navient considered my XXXX payment overdue and required both my XXXX and XXXX payments to bring my account current, I had not choice but to accept their Administration forebearance, Today, I received my confirmation of autopay with Navient, and as I feared there was no Administrative forbearance, my loan payment changed from {$330.00} to {$340.00} dollars per month and since I have 10 more years to pay on this loan it will increase the overall cost of my loan by at least {$600.00}. I will not know until next month, but I imagine I will also get reported to the credit bureaus for late payment and lose my .25 % interest reduction.

Consumer Complaint: Hello I spoke to several representatives before XXXX about a forbearance. The system stated I used 3 months out of the 12 months available of forbearance. I made on time payments in the year XXXX which they claimed I used. Nobody followed up with me to fix the forbearance error since I never used the 3 months so I should have 12 months available instead of XXXX. Is that a glitch?

Consumer Complaint: I am writing to bring to your attention a concerning matter regarding the reporting of late payments to the credit bureaus on my account. I have been diligently maintaining my payments and have never missed a payment deadline. Upon reviewing my credit report, I was astonished to discover that late payments were reported for XXXX and XX/XX/. I must stress that I have always adhered to an income-driven payment plan as a low-income student. As such, the reporting of late payments is entirely inaccurate and does not reflect my payment history. I have made previous attempts to rectify this issue through your customer service channels, but unfortunately, I have not received satisfactory assistance. I am genuinely concerned about the impact this misinformation may have on my credit score and financial standing. I kindly request your immediate attention and action to rectify this error. It is crucial that these inaccuracies are promptly corrected with the credit bureaus to accurately reflect my history of timely payments.

Consumer Complaint: I recently learned that I am a class member of the XXXX class action lawsuit against Navient regarding predatory private student loan practices of which a settlement was reached. I also learned that Navient was supposed to notify me by mail that I am a class member and they haven't. On XXXX I received a call from XXXX to both my personal phone and my work, voicemail was left on both. The person who called me violated the Fair Debt Collection practices by stating " we are calling about options regarding your loan '' only. I returned the call on XXXX, it was an attempt to settle and collect the private student loan debt that fall under the class action lawsuit. They are continuing predatory practices and behaviors. I informed the person that I was aware of the lawsuit and failed to receive the notification regarding that matter.

Issue: Struggling to repay your loan
Subissue: Can't get other flexible options for repaying your loan
Consumer Complaint: I have been having trouble with the 13 % high interest rate on this loan. I have paid mostly interest on this loan for more than a decade upwards of {$28000.00}. Its a {$20000.00} loan. I still owe {$12000.00} according to them. Earlier this year I had discovered that the new payment plan I had established with them earlier only put about 15 % of the payment toward the principal and the rest toward the interest. I felt that I was being cheated and called them up to negotiate another plan that will help me pay down the principal, with emphasis on lowering interest. The would only keep stating to me " the interest rate is set by the lender ''. I decided to not pay anymore at all. Yesterday, XX/XX/XXXX I received a letter in the mail stating that they were about to start reporting to the credit agencies about my delinquency. It read in the second paragraph " If you're having trouble making the Navient private student loan payment, you may be eligible for a repayment program, such as interest rate adjustments or loan modifications. '' Today, XX/XX/XXXX i called them and stated what the letter said and I was refused help. She said it was an automated letter and that I don't qualify for help. I was told I don't qualify for any programs to lower my payment or interest or apply more to my principal than to the interest payment. She even said there was a program where I could pay just an interest payment and buy myself another month to figure it out! Just interest! I stated that makes me believe that Navient is really into only making a profit. Do I really have to keep paying interest on this loan just to keep my credit score up? I think that this loan, originally processed through Sallie Mae, is predatory. I can't even work because of health problems and they say I make too much through my husband. My diploma isn't worth anything because of the school I graduated from. I can not get this loan refinanced because I don't make ENOUGH income. Am I really going to be help prisoner by the interest on this loan? Do I really have to keep throwing my husband 's hard earned money away to interest payments? I graduated in XXXX been paying since XXXX. Are there any programs I qualify for because I've been paying so long? Are they being ignored by Navient servicers?

Consumer Complaint: I am writing to follow up on the recent correspondence sent regarding the discharge of debt for my estate. The negotiable instruments sent via registered mail have been presented and tendered as a valid remittance, and it is imperative that the Indenture Trustee acknowledges and accepts these instruments in accordance with the duties and responsibilities outlined in the publicly filed SEC documents. The evidence I provided supports the legitimacy of the notes as valid negotiable instruments tendered to NAVIENT PRIVATE LOAN TRUST in good faith. Additionally, ownership of the notes has been established, and I, as the authorized noteholder, possess the authority to receive payments of principal and interest. I received an electronic response alluding to concepts such as " Redemption, '' " Strawman, '' or " Accepted for Value, '' accompanied by accusations of frivolous claims and potential fraud. I wish to clarify that my original correspondence was not associated with those notions. Instead, I am adhering to the instructions provided through public filings outlining the duties of the Indenture Trustee, with me being the noteholder. There is no fraudulent intent in my request ; rather, I am asserting my rights and equity in these assets of value as a bona fide purchaser.
