Issue: Written notification about debt
Subissue: Didn't receive notice of right to dispute
Consumer Complaint: Under the FDCPA 1692G which gives consumers a 30 day window to dispute a debt in writing AND 1692E which prohibits using false or deceptive means to collect the debt. The notice I received removed my right to dispute the validity of the debt through debt validation and debt verification two separate practices. The deceptive practices taken place would be from the collection company knowing the debt is not mine because of the school was notified the information submitted was fraud. Also the alleged debt gives me no option to contact the debtor to dispute only to pay the debt. The claim I am asserting is that the collection letter misguided me as the consumer. In addition to including the the missing absent statutorily required validity language, the collection letter also invited me the recipient to please call to discuss payment arrangements circuit court decisions including XXXX v. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. from XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX form XXXX, these cases supports the current actions are improper and is in clear violation of the FDCPA 1692G and 1692E I would like the entire debt removed from ALL agencies which credit information or reports are supplies which includes data brokers. Proof of Complaint Case Number : XXXX I sent information to XXXX XXXX university and the department of education Financial Aid department informing them the information was fraud and that I should have never been enrolled in their school and I should not have had a financial aid balance with the school. The fund we're rescinded and I was never given another call or bill.

Consumer Complaint: I received the payment booklet on XX/XX/2018 from Navient the loan payment is due as of XX/XX/2018, for the amount of XXXX. I started to make the payment as of XX/XX/2018 a week, and I began to pay {$500.00} a week ahead of the due date until today. Navinet falsely reported to the credit bureau that I have a late fee on XXXX, amount of {$21.00}, XXXX {$21.00}, XXXX, $ XXXX XXXX XXXX. I contacted them on XXXX, XXXX, XX/XX/2018 and requested the explanation for why reported the late fee while I am paying more than the minimum amount, and although the booklet begins as of XX/XX/2018, I started as of XXXX and making the payment a week ahead of time. Now again Navient reported to the credit bureau, that I have late on the payment. I have my record which is an indication they received ahead of the due date for more than the minimum amount. I am sick of tired of calling and talking to many clueless people. The problem is these people are, answered the call either from XXXX or the XXXX. I am a federal government employee, and such a false reporting will impact my job.

Consumer Complaint: I submitted the following complaint last year. I never show an email that stated that there was a need for my response. I submitted an application for XXXX Loan Forgiveness to Navient in XX/XX/2018. They sent a letter to me stating that because I did not put my social security number on top of each page that the application could not be processed. I resubmitted the application with my social security number on the top of each page of the application in or around XX/XX/2018. I called on XX/XX/XXXX and now they are claiming that they are not in receipt of my application! This is ridiculous! They need to be held accountable and process my application. Regarding Navients response, I did send the form to them with the required information on top of each page. What should I do to protect myself from Navients failure to acknowledge the receipt of my form that DID include my social security number on the top of each page?

Consumer Complaint: My student loan Borrow use to be Sallie Mae then a few years ago Navient took over for them so my student loan got switched I attended the XXXX XXXX XXXX at XXXX. After I got divorced I struggled 2 make my payment while raising XXXX children. My monthly payment was XXXX and I called to discuss this matter with them multiple times. I told them I am single Mom of XXXX children who doesnt make alot of money that I receive no child support from my ex husband. Asked if my monthly payment couldnt be lowered to like $ XXXX- {$25.00} a month. As usual I got told that wasnt an option that {$50.00} was the lowest they could go for me. So as always I would get behind on my payment a few months would go by of me not being able 2 pay it and Id call back the representative on the phone would tell me my best and only option would be 2 do a forbearance for a few months but of course the interest would still add up. They would tell me2 try 2 save up some money in the meantime during my forbearance so I could start paying my payment when it became due. I had no idea that there ever was an option of an income driven repayment option or refinancing options until one day recently I came across the lawsuit filed again Navient and I got looking into it. I feel Ive been a victim of this situation for years and they have charged me alot in interest. Alls they ever offerrd me was 2 do forbearance they claimed that was my only option. Thank youfor your time it means alot 2 me. Sincerely Yours XXXX XXXX aka on student loan papers as ( XXXX XXXX ) that was my married name
