Consumer Complaint: Today, XX/XX/XXXX I went to pay my loans through Navient. I planned to pay extra as well. My loans are due today and I had a late fee of {$120.00} I had to pay. I don't feel I should be charged because it is still the XXXX. I attached a picture that shows the date today and the payment due date being today. My payment was made around XXXX

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX bill from Navient for XXXX. Paid XXXX through auto pay which processed on XX/XX/XXXX confirmation sent from Navient. XX/XX/XXXX payment said not made. Called customer service they said they would apply it and get it fixed. XX/XX/XXXX notice from Navient my student loans were paid off, went into site to find accounts said XXXX balance but that I owed XXXX still even though I had only borrowed 30 something thousand to begin with. It is also not showing my XXXX payment and says I only owe XXXX in XXXX. Clearly they have misplaced payments and I'm highly concerned about why I owe more now after over 10 years of payments then I started with.

Subissue: Problem lowering your monthly payments
Consumer Complaint: Hello, I am reaching out to CFPB regarding a signature loan with Navient XXXX XXXX. I have tried several times to inform them that the amount they are requesting me to pay monthly is unreasonable. The company has provided an interest only payment option as of XX/XX/XXXX for me to pay which is of no benefit to the loan. The option keeps them from calling me, which a representative informed me can be eight times a day. This form of harassment is asinine and should not be a business practice for a federal loan provider. I obtained this loan back in XXXX for a University that I did not graduate from and have been stuck with this burden ever since. When I was a minimum wage worker and not pursuing a college education, to keep navient from consuming 90 % of my income, I was forced to use the forbearance option as my only solution. Today, they want me to pay on the interest of the loan and when I can't afford that, they harrass me and my family with robo calls. The state of Georgia allow debt collection to begin at XXXX XXXX, the current time is XXXX, Navient has called me three times from three different numbers while I am at work. How can this be fair to consumers who only wanted to get a college degree?

Consumer Complaint: Have disputed two of five loans due to fraud by XXXX formerly XXXX XXXX XXXX. Navient associates have refused to look into my claim. Refuse to have me speak with a superior. Have refused to provide information about my loans to me. I have requested a copy of the alleged disbursed checks to see who has signed for them since I know I did not. The associates refused to assist me and told me to call back. I have called the Student Aid federal loan Ombudsman department to only be directed back to Navient. Apparently, there is a big scam or fraudulent activity being conducted by Navient and the U.S. department of Education. I would like to join in on a class action law suit since I have supporting documents. Two loans totalling {$4000.00} were allegedly taken out four days prior to me finishing my program. These loans were taken out by fraud. The school has been shut down since the State of California has found them to be in multiple violations of the laws.
