Consumer Complaint: I started receiving calls from ( XXXX ) XXXX as early as XXXX in the XXXX! When I pick up the phone, they almost immediately hang up, only to call again a bit later. My wife called the number back as I was writing this, only to find out that somebody from Navient was on the other end of the line. Navient is a collection agency who has been after me for my student loans. They have been calling several times per day, only for me to REPEAT to them that I am XXXX ( I have XXXX and can not keep a job ) and that I am already in the process of having my student loan forgiven on the basis of XXXX through XXXX. Now it seems they have resorted to straight harassment-spoofing their number so that we can not tell it is them when they call ( we usually answer, anyway ) and then just hanging up instead of even speaking to me regarding the situation and overdue payments. What the XXXX is going on, anymore? Companies can just get away with this sort of behavior?

Consumer Complaint: I was told by Navient customer service on different telephone calls that per my situation, a forbearance was something I could utilize as I wouldn't pay anything during the forebearance. It was not made clear that interest would continue to accrue nor was I provided the amount of interest. On XX/XX/2019 in my telephone conversation with Navient I was told that principle would be paid off as well as interest on my loan of {$78000.00}. When I looked on the Navient website today my total loan amount is {$78000.00}. When I agreed to the current pay-off plan of 8 years I was told the {$680.00} would not only go to interest but to principle as well. This has not been the case.

I was told I sent it to the wrong address, but they cashed the check. It will take 4-6 weeks for me to get my money back. In the meantime, they want me to make another payment that I won't see again. But they will " give me 90 days before they report me to a credit company. '' Really? I made a huge payment. They cashed it but aren't applying it to my account. Fraudulent.

I did and I started paying them and all of a sudden i start getting letters from Navient saying they are my loan servicer. I do not know how my federal student loans got transferred to navient without my knowledge. I did not get any notice or sign any authorization to transfer my student loans.

Consumer Complaint: I do not dispute the fact that my Navient accounts were severely past due. I had attempted to negotiate my payments directly with Navient multiple times prior to my account being charged off, however they were adamant that they would be unable to lower my payments further than approximately {$530.00}, which would have been unreasonable. Per my credit report my loans have been charged off with Navient, and my account was also referred to collections. Arrangements have been made with the 3rd party collections, however Navient is not acknowledging the terms of my payment arrangement with collections and is still reporting my payments as late, despite my customer dashboard correctly displaying that payments are being received in a timely manner. If additional action had been required on my part in order to bring the account current going forward, I was not told when agreeing to my current payment arrangement, and it has also never been told to me since. Per Navient 's online portal my account is currently past due {$14000.00}, despite my payment arrangements. The PDF password is XXXX. Apologies for having a locked document.

Due t this fact, I went to XXXX to stop that check. According to the Banker the check wasn't cashed. Navient has case me a lot of trouble.
